This thread will in the next few days post CORD video adverts that mainstream media, specifically KTN and NATION have pulled off air and declined to show to public.
In this one Maasai man airing his political views, he doesnt want to be led by a president who has court cases to answer to. He believes Raila Odinga can change their lives for the better (this comes from villagers who believe in Chapter6 of the constitution of Kenya).

tell people what you will do for them...not what your opponents problems are!
That is Raila's biggest problem....he never has a solution to anything and prefers referring to problems!
Debe tarehe 4 machi!

Elimu bora ni muhimu kwa kuendeleza wakenya wote katika ngazi zote. Kura kwa Raila ni Kura kwa elimu bora.
In other words, what these village folks are saying is that they do not eat free laptops let alone the fact they have other pressing needs that need to bring education nearer and make it more affordable

The child claims that it needs books and food and shoes....and you wonder why this lot is called analogue! That laptop can carry all the text books and exercise books a primary school child needs. We all know that e-books are miles cheaper than hard copies! I could go on......but this is why this lot should be consigned into some political dust bin!

Here is one advert about poverty striken and very bitter coastal residents talking about LAND INJUSTICE. They are squatters in their own ancestoral land. Clearly disenfranchised. Willing buyer willing seller is not the issue here.
Listen to one resident specifically painfully assert how he told Raila Odinga his LAND problem.
These are the clips manstream media does not wish you to see.
Raila is calm in response. Land reforms are coming.
(I will ignore those who want to derail this threat with pointless interjections and Jubilee videos - I wonder why they cannot start their own threads to sell their jubilee).

joblesscorner ;D nice to see you around in this forum that is indeed the bellwether of kenyan politics, a must stop for any serious kenyan i have come across-- be it here in nairobi or bondo, mombasa or dar es salaam, washington dc or jerusalem, maputo or durban, canberra or addis ababa. indeed i do read each and every posting in jukwaa, yours included more often than not i am refreshed.allow me to say that your post above(the jubilee video ads) would advance the cause of jukwaa and indeed their intention if they are misplaced here as i would imagine they are. or did you mean to prove to our respected member phil that there are also some pro-jubilee odm ads that the media wont air? otherwise keep up the good work.

Phil,
I do not blame the media if they are not airing those adverts. Having listened to them courtesy of you, I must say I am ashamed. All I see in those adverts is conflict; pitting one group of Kenyans against the other. Is that the best your campaign can come up with?
Try comparing what you have and what Jobless has posted here, the difference is as clear as the night is from day. We must strive to move this country forward even as we seek leadership, it cannot be that our desires as individuals must be met at all costs, NO.

All is not lost though, at least you guys still have this one mainstream station giving your side overwhelming and preferential airtime at the expense of your competitors, no? Take heart brother, in this life of ours, one can't win them all. Come to think of it, this station's recently adopted name nowadays seems to have a nice ring to it. thejackalnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/CORD-TV-EDITED.jpg [/img]

I did not hear you pontificate about it the way you do above! If only I could lay my hands on it again, I would post it here.

Einstein,
The reason behind the start of this thread is the tacit complaint by Phil about KTN and NTV not showing certain CORD tv ads...and which Phil said he would thus be posting here.
Mine was to remind him that all is not lost, given that Kenya's number one (and by far) tv and radio media house if "fully CORDED". Presumption here is that CORD TV won't have any problem airing these ads, and probably already is.
So where does Uhuru TV come about in the above discussion context, that I should start bringing it up?

Phil
When we are at this propaganda leg, do you know when Raila will have his Kenyatta Stadium rally in Kisumu for I cannot frankly remember him being there since the formation of Cord? Any reason or it is a case of why go there when it is already sealed?

This is dangerous politicking! Where is that land that a CORD government is promising everyone? In 2007 there was word that Raila promised Kibera dwellers rent-free housing if he became president. ... and that that's one thing his supporters were demanding from those who they believed took away the promise. It seems to be the same message all over again.
