The Keys to the 47 Counties Don’t Belong to Carpetbaggers
By Miguna Miguna
Violence – especially political violence - of any nature is abhorrent. It demonstrates a failure to reason. The only violence which is morally and legally justified is one exercised in self-defence or in defence of children and innocent civilians. Gratuitous and barbaric violence like the one that was witnessed in Kisumu against Raphael Tuju a few days ago cannot be justified or excused. It must be condemned unreservedly.
Nobody has the keys or exclusive rights to any part of the country – Kisumu included. Political leaders have a duty to ensure that they encourage, and participate in, peaceful democratic exercises. Democracy isn’t just about the people governing themselves through their elected representatives; it is also politics through discussions and debates.
Criticism is part and parcel of a democratic culture. Robust debates and peaceful challenges amongst political competitors or between their respective supporters constitute the DNA that makes up modern democratic politics. We must encourage our leaders to vigorously debate and disagree over their respective visions, policies, ideologies and programs. This will enable the people to critically assess their candidatures and determine who amongst them is best suited to be our next president. That determination cannot occur through hooliganism, comedy, funeral dirges, riddles or theatrics.
All presidential candidates must have unfettered access to the people in all corners of the republic. If the people’s (and by extension the candidates’) freedom of expression and association - and the right to criticise each other - are stifled, the people will resort to violence to resolve their differences. Yet, physical confrontations due to political differences cause instability and negate the principles of good governance enunciated in the Constitution. Violence is also inimical to development.
Disagreement is healthy. It’s the engine of modern human civilization. Active disputations create progress. But these must be conducted peacefully. Throwing rocks at political opponents is both barbaric and primitive. Violence causes destruction.
Raphael Tuju has declared his candidature for the presidency of this country. It’s his constitutional right. More than eight others have similarly announced their interest in the highest office in the land. They, too, have a fundamental right to canvass for votes in all parts of Kenya. Nobody has the right to cordon off any part of the country from his or her opponents.
When Tuju visited Kisumu last week, he went there to meet the people and give account of himself, his vision and policies. It was his democratic right. He wasn’t armed. He didn’t preach or agitate violence. And he didn’t need permission from anybody to exercise his rights.
Tuju’s entourage and supporters weren’t violent, either. Yet Tuju’s convoy was senselessly attacked, his vehicles damaged and one of his campaign staff injured. The injured lady is a Kenyan. She has the right to go anywhere she likes with whomsoever she chooses. The only reason she was attacked was because she accompanied Tuju to Kisumu. That’s unacceptable.
Granted, politics is a competitive civilian sport. But it’s governed by rules, laws and the Constitution. It’s played within the context of a democratic multi-party environment. The cornerstones of that democratic process are five fundamental rights: freedom of thought, conscience, expression, association and movement. These rights are entrenched, guaranteed and protected by the Constitution. None of these rights can be waived, suspended or breached whimsically by anyone no matter how powerful s/he may be.
Political competition or rivalry isn’t a basis for infringing on anybody’s rights. Tuju is a Kenyan. He has the right of movement and association like anybody else. As such, the hooligans who attacked him and his convoy not only violated his rights; they also subverted the Constitution. But even more egregiously, they attempted to fence-off Kisumu from Tuju. Why? What’s their fear?
Many have speculated on the motives of the unwarranted attack. Some have argued that the hooligans were acting at the behest of a known political party and its leader both of whom are deemed to be dominant in Nyanza. Others have reasoned that the hooligans were aggrieved following disagreement with the Tuju campaign team. We will soon know the truth.
But one seriously wonders why the dominant political formation in Nyanza – ODM – has reacted in the most schizophrenic manner. On Sunday, November 6th, the ODM Secretary General Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o issued a statement condemning the attack on Tuju and called for the perpetrators to be arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. That was laudable.
Yet in a characteristic discordant manner now synonymous with the Orange party, three ODM MPs and a few misguided party activists released statements condemning Tuju for allegedly staging the violent attack on himself just a day after Nyong’o’s condemnation.
On Monday November the 6th, the ODM party leader and Prime Minister, Raila Odinga released a tepid prepared statement appealing to “the citizens of Kenya to observe peace in this election year.” The statement had no sound bite. It was a generic appeal. It didn’t mention the attack on Tuju in Kisumu. Neither did it condemn it. It actually didn’t specifically condemn violence and political hooliganism. Moreover, neither Raila nor the ODM party has appealed directly to their supporters to be tolerant and refrain from all acts of violence.
It wasn’t clear whether Raila was speaking as the ODM leader or as the Prime Minister of Kenya. And although the local media attempted to give the statement a positive spin and claimed that Raila had ‘condemned the attack on Tuju’, Raila never uttered Tuju’s name nor did he mention the words Kisumu or political hooliganism. In other words, Raila’s was a pro-forma and generic statement that could have been issued by Lord Evelyn Baring during the state of emergency in Kenya between 1952 and 1959. It was politically useless!
By Tuesday November 8th, the ODM had completely squandered all the credits Prof Nyong’o’s earlier strong condemnation had generated. A statement read at the end of the party’s parliamentary group meeting, which was attended by the PM, his deputy, Musalia Mudavadi and other party leaders, recklessly and completely retracted Prof. Nyong’o’s laudable condemnation. The party claimed, without a scintilla of evidence, that Tuju had staged managed his own stoning and that the perpetrators were transported from outside Nyanza.
This was typical and quintessential ODM: confused, disorganised and hypocritical. It was also a sign of despondency. Kenyans began to question ODM’s real intentions. The contradictory and inconsistent statements exposed ODM’s leadership as dishonest and opportunistic. Instead of an unequivocal condemnation of political hooliganism, the party condemned the victim of the violent attack. In an inexplicable act of schizophrenic contortion, ODM condoned political violence and hooliganism.
Essentially, by its latest statement, ODM leaders achieved what its detractors have failed to do: it voluntarily owned political violence. They did so without the approval of its rank and file. That’s sad. They did so to score cheap political points. That’s not just irresponsible; it is reckless.
ODM is a senior partner in the grand coalition government. Its leadership has a positive duty to be responsible and to encourage all Kenyans – ODM supporters included – to be peaceful and law abiding. Multi-party democracy is for all Kenyans and regions, Nyanza included.
We must condemn all acts of violence and hooliganism unreservedly! Kenyans must not allow anybody – no matter how powerful – to quibble with or excuse violence. Everybody must be free to visit any part of the country at any given time. The keys to the 47 counties belong to the people; not to carpetbaggers.

Yet another useless article from Miguna Miguna.
Miguna just like Prof Makau Mutua are two smart people who write complete nonsense in the name of fighting the PM. I don’t know what’s new in Migunas article? It’s just a repetition of what has been said here in jukwaa and elsewhere. Must Miguna comment on the PM on weekly basis even it means writing rubbish? Why is he making a blanket condemnation of the people of Kisumu? Has he tried to understand why Tujus convoy was stoned? Was he even there? I don’t think so.
First let me say that Tuju should not have been stoned. Secondly, I would like to say that a small group of youth in a place called kondele stoned Tuju and not the entire Kisumu youth as Miguna would want us to believe. Thirdly Tujus stoning had nothing with ODM to do. The reason the youth pelted the man with stones was because the last time he campaigned in the area in 2007 and young man was killed and scores injured. People are still angry at him. Just remember that he was able to address people in Kibuye and Kisumu bus park which is just a few kilometers from Kondele. Why he was not stoned in these places?
Raila is not a policeman to be asked by Miguna to act when a politician is stoned in Nyanza. The man is a national leader and has to condemn imminent violence in the whole country hence his talking in general terms, after all he did not order anybody to stone Tuju and there in nothing to say that the stone throwers were his supporters. This is just a misguided assumption from Miguna. Why does Miguna not ask President Kibaki to condemn the violence? Had he expected Raila to fly to Kondele to condemn the youth?
I think that Miguna has lost it.

just as miguna miguna is speculating the motive of what he calls the unwarranted attack so does we about his choice words, selective framing and most importantly timing.
miguna's inflammatory rhetoric has hit a crescendo and he is sending the message that its premise, primacy and focus ( in an election year that raila amollo odinga is the one to beat)will be odm and raila odinga. he seems not to care and determine to visit ruin on raila and odm.
thank god, agwambo is releasing his much awaited book.
for the rest, let musa juma speak for me.

This sad incident where Tuju was stoned by feverish goons is now beginning to make my head spin. I hope this is the last we are hearing about it for heaven's sake.
Now that Miguna's boot is on the other foot, he's being blasted (eti bure kabisa) by those who were cheering him before. That's typical Kenya for you.
With this stoning episode, it's all about perception. People may want to "explain" or "justify" why the stoning happened, but the fact is many people think Tuju was stoned for daring challenge a fellow Luo and to make it worse within the precinct of the "kingdom." Furthermore it's stupid and primitive to stone people you disagree with- even more foolish in full view of rolling TV cameras which will be used to nail you.
The PM's half hearted condemnation of that incident was also noted. The ODM brigade in typical fashion condemned the incident from both sides of their mouth, a hypocritical thing to do.
But I like Miguna's powerful last line: We must condemn all acts of violence and hooliganism unreservedly! Kenyans must not allow anybody – no matter how powerful – to quibble with or excuse violence. Everybody must be free to visit any part of the country at any given time!
And with that, I think it's time to move on.
Niece piece Miguna.

I read a wider objective by Miguna when he brings this up when everybody thought the topic was exhausted, though i hasten to add that it is quite cheap for anybody to try and justify the attack on Tuju, whatever the circumstances. It is about time we avoided personalising the debate and argue on the basis of whether it was right or wrong for whoever was responsible.
For i could also argue that if Tuju was attacked because of events that happened in 2005, why has nobody attempted to bring a closure to these issues by following the right procedures? Was Tuju responsible for any deaths in 2005? If anyone has a piece of evidence, why has Tuju not been charged with the crime in a court of law? Perpetrating another wrong can hardly count for a solution.
I am no expert in PR but i think why we have opened another week with this issue is because ODM do not seem to make their minds whether or not to condemn the incident. Had ODM stuck with the initial Nyong'o condemnation statement the issue would have cooled down somewhat.
That is why i think also Miguna may just be rubbing salt on the wound already stocked by other commentators - mutua, muluka, ochieng, jukwaaists, etc. We just need to be careful here as flogging a dead horse might be counter-productive.

Since Tuju seems to be always under the Protection of the police, why is it only when Tuju goes to Kisumu during campaigns there is trouble? what are we missing here? I wonder when Tuju was a minister what exactly did he do for his constituency? anyway they will decide themselves...Kenyans are not blinded, people should look at the previous history of all this individuals vying for positions.. why keep recycling used tarnished people ( I hope Kenyans look beyond the Pomp of money flash during elections, take the money being flaunting around but vote strategically for individuals that believe in change.. from corruption and impunity.

Very interesting take by Miguna Miguna on the misfortune that befell Tuju while on a campaign visit at Kondele. For sure, all forms of violence must be condemned. And many on this forum have condemned the violence. However, MM seems to be very dismissive of ODM and its leadership, as he has been of late, when he writes: "This was typical and quintessential ODM: confused, disorganised and hypocritical. It was also a sign of despondency." I look forward to the day that MM will establish an atypical political party or join a current one that is not typical and work with like-minded individuals so that he can showcase what an atypical political party should look like and conduct its activities. Bitterness and anger never takes one far. It took some politicians about two years before they realised that bashing Raila and ODM could captivate their audience for only so long--dissimilarly, articles laced with latent bitterness and anger being pedalled as opinion pieces will not take 24 hours before their agenda is revealed and exposed. Reporter 911 asked “And why didn't Miguna mention it as maybe a reference to why Tuju received stoning from upset wananichi? Maybe there is more than meetings the eyes”There is, without a shadow of doubt! THERE IS MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE. If you look at the heading of this article, it will give you the connection. The heading reads as follows “Miguna: Who Has The Keys to the 47 Counties?” keep that in mind as we plough along. When Mr. Raphael Tuju was in Kericho County this past weekend he did not mince words when he made the following remark…. “I will work with other presidential aspirants to defeat Prime Minister Raila Odinga in 2012 General Election”TO DEFEAT WHO? Prime Minister Raila Odinga! yeye kazi yake ni kusaidia kuangusha simba tu.. That’s the goal, again that’s nothing new, it’s NO LONGER a secret. Raph is one of the bullets in someones Gun. www.standardmedia.co.ke/politics/InsidePage.php?id=2000046667&cid=289&story=Tuju roots for county alliance. But Mr Tuju also said something very interesting…. Here it is.. “Tuju said he was consulting his colleagues in the G7 alliance with a view of forming a strong political alliance and nominate one of their own to compete with Raila in the polls”Did you get that.. TO NOMINATE “ONE” OF THEIR OWN… it’s a conspiracy… not “theory”, its real... TRANSLATION; ALL POLITICAL FORCES will come together IN 2012 with one common agenda "FLOOR THE PM" elect ONE OF OUR OWN!! Reporter 911 something else came out of Tujus mouth which is very significant- He said he will front for THE FORMATION OF AN ALLIANCE that will bring on board Kenyans from all the 47 counties DUBBED ‘C47’Now connect that to the HEADING OF THIS ARTICLE and you have your answer… Do you honestly think Tuju talking about the same thing with MM is a concidence? Honestly do you? This is not a mere coincidence, NO- NO- NO- NO- its orchestrated!!Now put two and two together and there you have it! That’s partly what is not meeting the eye at the moment! Finally, here is Tujus other comment.. "Though MOST OF THOSE IN THE G7 ALLIANCE ARE MY FRIENDS, I will not join them. I am consulting WITH MY FRIENDS IN THE GROUP TO FORM A STRONGER ALLIANCE," he added. PNU and Other political parties are being targeted.. they are in trouble, including ODM... another party has been registered that could drive Hon Kenyatta agenda, together with UDM, and Tujus party... YOU CAN BE ON the look out for C47. www.standardmedia.co.ke/InsidePage.php?id=2000046636&catid=4&a=1Don’t be surprised if MM becomes a Key player in this, who knows, he probably is already!! THERE IS DEFINITELY MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE..

Oh poor Kenyans, 2 ways to die; choose one!
The only choice you seem to have is between Carpet-baggers and Gold-diggers.
That is a tough choice. But in that scenario, please give me Carpet-baggers any day!
Ah! And the talk about carpets! We've heard it before, always and surely aimed at the one and only Kenyan personality giving them all politicians and wannabes a nightmare in the Kenyan political arena.
Just how low have some people sunk just because they lost a mere job at the PM's office!
Surely, do we go to school only to come out and depend on some individuals for our survival in life? Really? In that case, school is worthless and a complete waste of time.

For the umpteent time, what is wrong with this Miguna Guy? Can't he just move on and leave the PM and ODM alone?? This is just the same old gabbage he has been recycling, only this this time he is sneaking it in by using a misleading title for the thread. The title of this thred and the bod are completely different topics. Any one reading the title of this thread must have had a sigh of relief that finally this guy was writing about something else until you go to the body and realize that it is the same old crap. Mr. Miguna please move on. No one is really interested.

These are serious charges: until Miguna is cleared conclusively, he has no moral authority to tell us anything.

Thats rather thin ice my brother. Especially given the history of the PM himself I suppose one could also say that raila's antagonism with Kibaki emanated from some kind of anger at Kibaki not honoring their MOU? That Raila had said tosha and campaigned for Kibaki until the day kibaki turned his back on him and since that day the Pm has been on an anger driven vendetta? Am sure thats not how you quite see it. Am sure you will attribute loftier ideals to why the PM opposed Kibaki but arent the facts more or less the same as Miguna's? Why would Miguna's motives be less loftier? btw.. you can take this even as far back as the Raila co-operation days with Moi and subsequent fallout

I have pointed out to my friend that the Banana Republicans may be planning to be more creative than he has analyzed. I have also warned him to be careful in analyzing Luos; that my people are tricky when it comes to politics. And that the community has a long history of felling those perceived to be sleeping with their enemies. However, my friend insists that the little birds chirping at his ears are as accurate as lightning.
And I say, good luck Ralph, give it a good run. Read more: jukwaa.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=6113&page=2#ixzz1dm7n6oowThanks RR for giving us this refresher. Any time i henceforth see any of Miguna unending tirades i will refer to the above.

Quoting Miguna Miguna in an essay on Raphael Tuju, Tuesday February 27th 2005So at odds with what he now says. Well, perhaps Miguna should take his own advice? NB: Just as a reminder, Miguna is on suspension from the PM’s office for gross misconduct including harassing and intimidating other staff members as well as using abusive language.. These are serious charges: until Miguna is cleared conclusively, he has no moral authority to tell us anything. Below is the article Miguna wrote in 2005, reproduced here in its entirety: IS TUJU HEADED FOR THE PM JOB? By MIGUNA MIGUNA* - 26 September 2005 A close friend of mine and a tested political strategist has recently whispered into my ear, careful not to be overheard , that our mutual buddy, that ever smiling congenial gentleman from Aram market in Rarieda constituency in Nyanza province, the undisputed territory of Raila Amolo Tinga; the one Kibaki refers to as “Ralph my son”, yes, that newly minted party leader of what some have referred to as “pata potea party”, is a major ace in Kibaki’s yet-to-be-played political cards, those that are still hidden safely under the table, away from the Orange team, or what other Banana Republicans love to refer to as “the Orangemen”.
According to my friend-cum-political strategist, Tuju will assume the role Musalia played in Moi’s petty political schemes immediately after Raila stormed out of KANU with more than half its political heavyweights. His theory goes something like this:
Whether the Banana Republicans Win or Lose, TUJU will be VP
Sometime after November 21st, 2005, Kibaki will announce a reshuffle [shuttering and shaking all corners of our lovely republic], appointing Tuju to the VP’s position and either firing or demoting Awori. Raila, Kalonzo and the other Orange team members will also be fired, giving space for Syongo, Sammy Weya, Opon Nyamunga and other closeted regime friendly MPs from Luo Nyanza, who will either be elevated or appointed to full cabinet positions, possibly even directly replacing the Orange ministers. Following this reshuffle, major appointments in the District administration, judiciary, the police, military, intelligence and parastatals will follow. But the latter appointments will undoubtedly be restricted to Ralph’s friends, supporters and party affiliates or those who have “good” reasons to hate Raila [please count me out]. My friend swears by the spirits of his dead grandmother that Kibaki will inevitably boost Ralph’s political profile, stature and prestige in Luo Nyanza and start a process of creating a national figure. With unlimited state largesse, KBC, Citizen and Nation Media propaganda machines demonizing Raila and proclaiming how heroic, development conscious and peaceful Ralph is, it is calculated [by non other than the professor of mathematics, Saitoti] that both Luo Nyanza, in particular, and the greater Kenyan nation, in general, will begin warming up to our new leader. And with his disarming smile, handsome face, gift of the garb and sure gait, Tuju will rise to the level of TJ Mboya, minus the latter’s organizational and oratorical acumens. What Ralph lacks in TJ’s charisma he will make up in his polish, poise and properly tailored Armani suits. My friend quickly points out that while TJ might have dazzled Kenyans with his reported coziness to such American titans like the Kennedys, Ralph will call upon the Italians and other wazungu friends he has made in his foreign sojourns, first in the UK and then in the US. So, just like TJ made life very difficult for Raila’s father Ajuma wuod Alogo, so will Ralph make life impossible for Raila and other Orange team members. Eventually, so I hear, Ralph will create a political nightmare for the newly announced ODM and clear the path for Kibaki’s return in 2007 and beyond.
Those Orangemen who dared question Ralph’s political influence will face the wrath of the NARC power men such as Murungaru, Michuki, Karume, Kiraitu, Kivutha, Mirugi et al, thus what Raila’s father, Oneko, Kagia, Obok and others experienced in 1966 and after will be replayed with precision after November 2005 [except, perhaps, the brutal assassinations of the previous decades]. According to this insider, Orange team members’ loans and mortgages will be recalled, credit facilities cut, jobs lost and life made miserable each day and night. My friend points out that what will follow November 21st, 2005 has been clearly mapped out by Kiraitu, Michuki, Mirugi, Murungaru, Karua and others in the recent days. He gives me examples of statements made by the NARC high command during the banana campaigns such as Mungatana telling his constituents at St. Martin Primary School in Bahari Constituency, Kilifi District, on Sunday, September 25th, 2005, that “you elected me and I am commanding you to vote for the draft…”; Kiraitu’s command to the civil servants that they must campaign and vote for the banana fruit as well as his declaration that their team is using state resources because the referendum is a government project; Michuki directing the Provincial Administration to ensure that everyone under them votes for the Wako draft; Karua telling those who are opposed to the enactment of the draft to go to hell; Kibaki calling every Kenyan who disagrees with his government liars and wapumbavu; and Mirugi threatening Kivuitu of termination. These, my friend points out, are just examples of things to come after the referendum.
Instead of Kenyatta’s refrain “Kaggia, what have you done for yourself?” the Orange team will be asked “how many oranges have you eaten?” And with that question, it is conceivable that Nyayo House will be reopened and the museum artifacts there transformed, once more, into truncheons of torture. My friend smile when he reminds me of Murungaru’s recent warning to the Orangemen that “there are many ways to sort out the sheep from the goats.”
My friend’s second theory – Whether Banana loses or not, Tuju will be PM
My friend’s second theory looks more plausible than the first. He relays that he has heard it from impeccable sources within the corridors of power that Kibaki will fire the entire Orange team, hire the few turncoats from Luo Nyanza, and try another trick on Agwambo. This version has it that Kibaki will retain Awori but still appoint Ralph to the PM’s position, minus the executive powers. The reason for keeping Awori will be to retain a large chunk of the Luhya votes, but only if the referendum results redeem him; that is, if he manages to deliver a sizeable number of votes for the Banana Republicans in November. If not, my friend posits, the VP’s job will be Kituyi’s; not Kombo’s. I hear that the MKM are adamant that the VP’s slot must be kept in the Luhya country in order to lock Agwambo and his Orange brigade out of Western province. My friend doesn’t seem to think that Kombo stands a chance in the post referendum power equation.
However, even without executive powers, Ralph will be allowed to run a tidy outfit from Harambee House, with streams of eloquent, flashy and degreed Luos. That way, so the whisper goes, Luos will begin to view Kibaki as their ally, a true friend in development, and abandon Agwambo. The Odinga Political Empire, my friend reminds me, may be history, post-referendum.
Then come 2007, with the Orange team’s influence reduced and their ability to organize seriously curtailed, the NARC brigade will have a good run for another term while ODM will be relegated to the dustbins of political experiments.
I have pointed out to my friend that the Banana Republicans may be planning to be more creative than he has analyzed. I have also warned him to be careful in analyzing Luos; that my people are tricky when it comes to politics. And that the community has a long history of felling those perceived to be sleeping with their enemies. I also pointed out to my friend the fact that whereas Odinga was never allowed to have a coherent organizational base from where to practice his politics, Agwambo has both the LDP and the newly formed ODM. Also, I reminded my friend that TJ ended up dead, which might be an ominous warning to Ralph. However, my friend insists that the little birds chirping at his ears are as accurate as lightning.
And I say, good luck Ralph, give it a good run.

Miguna was noted for his acerbic critique of ODM opponents, until that became a liability to Team RAO and he had to be dropped. I would give his views some credibility if he had willingly stepped aside from OPM but now his articles are just the rumbling of a disgruntled ex -employee.
They only confirm the obvious, that he was a praise singer whose profile was boosted by posturing as a Moi era victim and whose western degree and elephantine ego afforded a false air of invincibility. If he truly believed in his strong support for Raila until a few months ago what has radically changed in the man or the party since then? What’s with the quick about turn? Suddenly Raila and ODM are the devils because they stopped sending the cheque?
This sudden transformation expose him as a man with much verbose but double faced to the core. Strong on pseudo intellectual chatter but lacking in convictions. No different from a man who changes religion just because he was dropped from a church committee- In this respect atheist are better than pretend church folk at least they steadfast in their belief or lack thereof.
We know Miguna can write well we just don’t know what he believes in. And from his recent rumblings he is a man who will believe in anything if the price is right and the cheques keep coming.

What happened to Tuju's return tour of Kondele? No stones to write about? Surely there must be other things Kenyans can talk about and write columns about even if they have to attack Raila and ODM. Oloo wrote a piece on this. The daily papers have all been on it. The story has pretty much run its course. Must everybody else pen an article repeating pretty much the same things. Tuju is as irrelevant today as he was in 2005 when the same Miguna was mocking his alleged V.P predictions. Let's fight Raila, but for god's sakes let's put a little creativity in it. If people look close enough they are going to find something to beat Raila with. The Tuju Kondele circus has ran out of steam. And Tuju's idea that his mission on earth is to help beat Raila makes him join a long list of very frustrated people. Please Mr. Tuju get something better to do with your life. There has to be something out there even for you in politics. The situation isn't that bad, or is it?

I wonder how the PM's Office was able to put up with (Miguna)2 for such a long time.
When will he ever learn that there is a clear difference between a political position which he held and a civil office? Does he know that politics is not always about being right, rather its about advancing your ideology in an acceptable way. If he had not been satisfied by the ideologies of ODM or serving a political office, then he should have quit long time ago rather than wait to be fired. As much as he would want to be critical of the PM and ODM in general, I think he is part of it. He vehemently supported them, thus turning back against them after his lose is a little bit on the hypocritical side.
ODM may have fired him on flimsy grounds but he has s turned this fiasco into a political mammoth. We are tired of anti-ODM and anti-Raila articles. This man is transforming into another Ruto. Miguna's long essays are quickly turning into literal junk that one just wanna scan through as quickly as possible in hope to capture something new only to be disappointed. If he wants to gain respect as a political commentator, its time he wrote on something that has no Odingaism in it.

The Keys to the 47 Counties Don’t Belong to Carpetbaggers By Miguna Miguna Mr. Miguna is a Barrister & Solicitor in Canada. He is also an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. After the last pathetic publication accusing the OPM of embezzling KKV funds, the coast is now apparently clear for yet another irrelevant and quite honestly time-barred commentary of Tuju's provocative trip to Kisumu. What will it be next? PM's trip to Israel? Or an attack on the recently established Raila Odinga Centre? Or perhaps another lecture of the rights of some president wanna be's? It aint wrong working for Team Uhuru but for Christs sake let's be objective in our commentaries and stop this needless obsession with Raila Odinga.

Don’t be surprised if MM becomes a Key player in this, who knows, he probably is already!!THERE IS DEFINITELY MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE.. isn't this the same raphael on whose lap rateng ogego ended after fallout with agwambo?.ogego rose from an advisor of raila to high profile diplomat after falling out with raila and crossing over to tuju/anti raila camp. he would speak about agwambo in desperate terms and he never cared a little bit. remember how jukwaa helped itself with the rants of a bitter and vengeful ogego, how ogego dropped any reference to the name oginga... was instead very comfortable with his christian name peter.....just assiduously as he sold his soul to the anti-raila forces. miguna is a wounded man,in rage, almost in the same predicament as ogego was eight about years ago. as our foresight can foresee, miguna may as well be executing tuju's design against raila especially when one considers that he has said nothing negative about him. i may be wrong, as usual.

To Foresight and Man:Please do not attach any mystical and coded inner, deeper and more profound meaning to the title of this thread. It is I, Onyango Oloo, who gave it that caption.I have retained Miguna's original title in the body of the article itself.Onyango Oloo Jukwaa Administrator OOAt least you changed the title after you realized that Miguna's title was not only misleading but it was also classless and ........never mind
