Adongo, I reckon you are one of those I describe as given to juicy side shows, therefore you feel inclined to pursue Miguna on his come baby come show. But for those, whose visions are not tainted, calculatedly or otherwise, by loyalty and allegiance to their powerful neighbours, nor of minds contaminated by animosities generated by the traumas of lost comradeships, the comical act of Miguna could immediately be put into perspective, and seen for what it was. And indeed there is dubb music put to the come baby come. But let me remind you of two important precedents of public theatrix which Kenyans immediately recognized as storms in tea cups, and moments of comical relief. And went on treat as such. 1. Jakoyo Midiwo rises up at a funeral in Luoland and in an act which reveals his true calling is pantomime and not politics, announces 'Jogi dwaro negi Jakom!' This was a run-away thread on Jukwaa. jukwaa.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=6819&page=1 The DN reported Raila shed tears as he heard this, but we now know, thanks to Sarah Elderkin, that Agwambo's tears are routine, courtesy of bad ophthalmologists or eye surgeons. Ordinarily, the threat of assassination against the PM of a country, and the leading Presidential candidate, in a volatile country hardly recovered from her last bout of convulsion, would be a national security alert, swinging into action some of the best sleuths of the land in a wide security operation. And the man with the information would be helping police 24/7. But what happened? The police did not bother, oops , forcing the comedian Midiwo to CHALLENGE THEM TO ARREST HIM! In other words, everybody knew a public fool when they saw and heard one! Next. That is Kenya, the news can look very hot. But merely entertainment. 2. Barely 3 weeks ago on his return from FOCAC-Beijin 2012 {Forum on China Afrika Cooperation}, Raila, ignoring his earlier vow broadcasted by Dennis that Miguna and his book were too contemptuous to be dignified with attention, made the 'earth-shattering' announcement that the book was the project of, amongst others, no less than the NISS of Gichangi. www.jukwaa.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=7237 . He did not even bother to say 'elements of or within the NISS'! So the intelligence service in toto!Ordinarily, that a national intelligence service becomes that rogue, plotting evil and mischief against the possible future commander in chief, ahead of a controversial election, barely four years after the same man was robbed of his victory, would be the stuff of profound recriminations. As serious as an attempted coup! treason! But what happened? Ach , politicians will say anything to polarize and win votes. The man is just, like his cousin Midiwo, and later his former legal aide Miguna, blowing hot air around. Next. As my gikuyu friend likes to pin-prick me: Eish, Jaruo, adding your friend Otieno Kajwang' to complete the quartet, you folks win the gold medal in public absurdity these days. And I say, owada, we left all the high-grade fish to M7, and came to the city to feed on chips and hormone-laced ken-chic. That does degrade neurons a bit where they matter most! I am sorry. 3:38-3:52 offers the best Am sorry I ever heard an African say! (Orchestre Sosoliso --Photo madjesi]These Miguna, Raila, Midiwo thoughtless public outbursts, we call thoro-thoro weche adharani, kendo bwogrwok gi wach e kind ji. It is considered kind of dim wittish in Luoland. I am surprised Adongo fails to see through boys crying wolf for public entertainment. For facts about PEV, you know who to ask. These other guys in the media are doing comedy!

If Miguna was putting a Vitimbi show or doing a Vihoja Makamani re-run that would be another story. I am OK with Ojwang' Hatari doing his thing because he is good at it. I am sure if Ojwang' wanted to put up a show on fighting impunity he would do so using his comedy skills and not peddle lies about PEV to sell a book. But yeah, the comedy show is back in Jukwaa and I am kind of enjoying it. Luckily I am in Nairobi where I can sit on the computer for sometime and not down there in Bondo where 15 minutes on the internet could mean jumping on the Apiko to go deal with irate folks waiting for fuel to start work.

What a spectacle! These deliberately orchestrated publicity stunts must definitely be putting food on many tables for sure. I doubt keeping embers of this flame burning will be sustainable in the long run. However, with luck, enough publicity may boost promotion for the next book's release; and guarantee cash-worthy political relevance in the upcoming campaign season.
In this circus, the main character (in my considered view) has ensued on a self-destructive journey whose first steps have barely began. His memoir has virtually been a warning shot that sent chills to those who perceived to be his friends. The author's proclivity towards audacious betrayal of friends is illustrated by the insensitive revelations of confidential and private discussions - now liberally publicized. This is the epitome of future social isolation to be anticipated. It is coming quite soon if not already in progress.
Most of the throngs who milled to receive Miguna at the airport were certainly not friends - but people with other agenda (journalists, seasonal political operatives, rent-a-crowd activists, and such; whose multitude prevented the few real friends from exchanging a handshake with Miguna). Besides, social isolation, watch out too for professional isolation. I frankly don't know who (besides arms-distance politicians) could have the nerve to hire the Miguna Miguna we're currently seeing on TV. The sheer contemplation of the what-if question precludes even mere thought of such possibility. I mean, how do you even hold a professional or peer meeting with Miguna without thoughts of blackmail occluding your mind? Through the memoir and his current antics, Miguna has proved he can't be a professional team player who values contributions of other - whether seniors, peers, or juniors. This is a classic and model display of fatalistic narcissism. It is called shooting oneself in the brain.
The unchecked and chest-thumping Miguna continues to burn his remaining bridges at the local scene. No genuine friend seems to caution him against payukaring everyone's name and revealing private conversations out in public. No friend seems to be telling him the truth - he's been busted as a liar; and probably only being fattened (by the other side), for future slaughter (figurative speech). Even if he were to resign into professional writing - the hypocrisy, chronic lies, propensity to hype, and anti-climactic outcome - have robbed him credibility. Peeling the Mask unearthed its author to the few avid (Kenyan) readers as an unscrupulous salesman who would disingenuously sell disguised fiction as a factual whistle-blowing account. Those who spent $40 to archive top-office graft, instead got unsubstantiated River-Road bar-room gossip - an angry one to boot. Those who thought they were buying to read a game-changing scandal of Watergate proportions were disappointed to instead get insensitive (& unproven) allegations of sexual relationships targeting mostly women - Mrs. Shebesh, Ms. Kariuki, Ms. Pessaris, Ms. Elderkin et al. Even women readers must have chillingly noticed the author's sexist inclination against women - if not objectifying them - so and so's "squeeze"; condescendingly disparaging them - "how could Raila eat food from such types of women". Just where is the budding enthusiastic reading audience yearning for the next release? Hakuna! Bewildered folks are just watching in amusement and shock.
Unless Miguna beats the deadline for the campaign season - when political and State operatives could dole in publishing fee advances, and make one-time orders for thousands of copies, I don't see evidence of a following of readers hungry for more thrillers. If you revel (or profit) on thrilling the public through expos'es that inflict pain on largely innocent by-standers like the Shebesh family, there will likely be payback one day. That's for sure.
Any future partisan political writings by Miguna will be challenged by the same problem of hypocrisy displayed by his most recent statement above (juxtaposed alongside Phil's posting of his earlier writings). When ODM held protests in 2007/8 against Kibaki and henchmen, Miguna's ferocious pen characterized them (protests) as "fundamental freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution". When Nyando people hold protests against Miguna, it is now "chilling barbarism, hooliganism, lawlessness, and intolerance". Hellooo! Kibaki's effigy was burnt in Nyando (2008) in as much as Miguna's was burnt and thrown into Nyando (2012), so what's up with this heavy load of hypocrisy.
Another irony of ironies - Miguna now expects his favourite target ( in his words 'political conman' and 'non-reformer' ) to "censure and condemn" Nyando people exercising their fundamental Constitutional freedom (to picket and protest)? Where is this surely heading?
I suspect that when the next political cycle arrives (& this entire Miguna brouhaha reaches saturation point), Big Mig will find himself facing numerous challenges from both sides of the political system who've suffered mercenary-like wrath from his propaganda pen. When his usefulness would have been outlived, he may end up with no bridge left to cross. Controlling one's anger and emotions during times of adversity is an important skill to possess! Without it, self-destruction can be quite easy.

Kamale, First off, the PEV is a key piece of the integrity questions, Miguna has raised. If indeed Raila was part of those who master minded mass murder in Kenya, which is essentially what Miguna announced at his book launch then he (Raila) should be at The Hague with the others charged with mass murder and mayhem. Of course we know that it is not Miguna who prepares and executes charges at the ICC but rather the OTP. The trouble for Miguna here is that he claimed he is withholding the evidence he has as long as the suspects are busy kissing his feet. In other words Miguna, by his own admission is wiling to aid and abet crimes against humanity in Kenya under certain conditions. just listenned to MM's clip and had the 'nice' bit transcripted “Every single leader here, I can take to The Hague. I have it right here (hitting the palm of his hand). And I am saying come baby come… when I decide in a 500-page book not to say what the Orange Democratic Movement did in the PEV (post election violence), they should thank me, kneel before me and kiss my feet. That is how angry I am when I see some people running around like idiots.” the red color is mine for the groupies and idol worshippers to take positions aka Al Saababu and KDF style Podp,Did I read in some post that you are a professor or was that some kind of joke? Now, do you really understand the meaning of the words 'groupie' or 'idol worshiper'? Are you aware that in the process, you just exhibited a sexist attitude yet again (Kathure just warned you a few weeks ago against that, but seems not lessons were learned) and that you just called devote Christians, Muslims and members of other religions idol worshippers due to their political choices? Did you write on this board that you are an old man? If you are truly an old man, then you better start acting your age before you lose our respect. Some of us have been going soft on you due to your supposedly advanced age. Do not take that for granted!

Sincerely, am still wondering how some Jukwaaists, that I have held so high in esteem, cannot just stop hitting their keyboard to write, what in my own words are frustrations about Miguna.
Please Jukwaaists, particularly those who do not condone Miguna's malicious accusations, both in pen and in lip, just stop dignifying Miguna's threads by posting every now and then. Give it a boot or worse, a go slow. Leave these threads for OO, Kamalet, Mwalimumkuu etc.

So Miguna has suddenly made a u-turn on his belief in defending the constitution that grants the right to such peaceful demonstrations? oloo, do you now agree with @rr's contention that some wolves are dressed in ship skin in so far as the "reformist tag" is concerned? Soma hapa, then reflect on the first paragraph of Miguna's crap statement issued at JKIA: Mass action, demonstrations and protests are guaranteed in the Constitution
By: Miguna Miguna
Published: Tuesday December 28th, 2010
We need to put an end to some nonsense being peddled by desperate people that those who called for mass action, protests and demonstrations against the massive rigging of the 2007 presidential elections and the reckless execution of a civilian coup against the popular will of the Kenyan people are somehow most responsible for the crimes against humanity – the deliberate mass rapes, displacements and deaths - committed against innocent civilians in Kenya after those elections.
Not only is mass action a constitutional right; freedom of association, expression and peaceful protest were guaranteed even in the old Constitution. There isn’t a democratic constitution or international convention in the world that prohibits those fundamental rights; which are inalienable to all human beings by virtue of their humanity. The right to peaceful assembly or protest against the perpetration of wrongs, the infringements of fundamental rights and freedoms, and popular action against dictatorship and autocracy, are ancient and fundamental. Their entrenchment and guarantee in the people’s charter is intended only as a formality and a reminder.
These fundamental rights and freedoms don’t have to be enshrined in any written document. After all, a constitution doesn’t have to be written; England has no written constitution, yet these fundamental rights and freedoms are engraved in the English culture, values, society and democratic practice, as they are supposed to be in all democracies around the world. That is why the Bill of Rights is considered by many to be the crown jewel of our new Constitution. For without it, all the other governance structures, institutions, legislations and values would be meaningless. One can legitimately argue that without the fundamental rights and freedoms contained in the Bill of Rights, the sovereignty of the people would be a hollow promise.
When rogue elements within the state, a faction within government, or militias act separately or in concert in an oppressive, undemocratic or authoritarian manner, the people have a God-given right not just to register their opposition to such acts through condemnation; they have a corresponding right and duty to demonstrate their opposition by picketing peacefully, and if the repression continues, by taking up arms against their oppressors.
Waving placards, chanting slogans, walking and running in groups – small or large – in public spaces, in order to show disapproval of an act the people deem undemocratic, illegal, unconstitutional or illegitimate - is as old as the world itself. Throughout history, mass action is the last course of action the people have and reserve to stem injustice and excesses. All over the world, mass action has led to the popular replacement of repressive governments and even the revolutionization of society. We saw it during the French Revolution. We saw it again during the American Boston Tea Party and the American Revolution against the British Empire. It was visible again and again during apartheid regime in South Africa. India during its independence struggle against British colonialism; African Americans during the civil rights movement; and Latin America during the fight against military juntas; taught the world about the power of mass movement. Here in Kenya, it was mainly mass action – not armed struggle – that swept the autocratic regime of Daniel arap Moi from power. And it has been largely to mass action that Kenyans have successfully staved off imminent relapse to autocracy since 2003.
I dare say that had it not been for mass action, we might now have a completely autocratic and brutal regime in Nairobi; suppressing dissent, clamping down on the media, detaining political opponents, maiming and killing those viewed as threats to its survival. Those brave Kenyans who poured onto the streets with nothing but their bare hands, twigs and placards, shouting “Haki Yetu!” are truly the real heroes we should be praising; not the African Union.
What options did the people really have in the face of the most egregious assault on their popular and democratic will? What options did the ODM leadership have in the face of a regime unwilling to cede power? Had the ODM leadership trained, armed and commanded a military force to oppose the flagrant abuse of the people’s democratic right to vote for a government of their choice; would there be a country called Kenya today? Had the millions of people that voted for ODM resolved to fight fire with fire, how many deaths would we have had?
We can still remember what happened in Rwanda in 1994; can’t we? We can still see the smoldering fires in Somalia; can’t we? We can still remember what happened to Uganda, Angola, Mozambique and Sudan; can’t we? Innocent Africans have been massacred in their hundreds of millions fighting liberation, factional and civil wars. Tens of millions have died needlessly following civilian and military coups. The fact that Kenya did not lose more lives is mainly due to the maturity and restraint of the ODM leadership. The regular police, administration police, the GSU and the Mungiki were armed and let loose on innocent demonstrators. The demonstrators were numerous but unarmed. Had the ODM leadership secured arms for them or asked the millions of demonstrators to resort to violence, those shouting about mass action wouldn’t find their voices. We should all be grateful that Raila Odinga exercised restraint during that period; not insult him with nonsensical insinuations. How many people would have graciously agreed to share power with someone everyone knew he had handsomely thrashed?
*Miguna is the PM’s advisor on Coalition Affairs. The views expressed here are his own. I thought Phill you are an ODM official. If so, was the Nyando burning and burying of Miguna effigy an ODM strategy or just the locals expressing themselves? and how would you know if it was or not? You are now digging old MM articles which were in good taste then but sour now. why? For what I know is simple. MM for some time had clearance to information and correspondences that the magnificent 4 at the hague have not used to set themselves free as yet. I just laugh inside when a guy like Phill and Reporter(like news reporter) is shouting for information which is far beyond his clearance and expects it to be spilled in public in sensitive nature. If a book, just a book can cause such commotion you KNOW you do not want the redacted information, infant you want to shut this guy up. And thats why you go digging into his closet. what a pity. MM will answer all of you just tune your minds into maximum info decibels Assange style. Listen up? instead of shouting my name here how about get your buddy Miguna to produce the Crucial PEV evidence he is withholding, sija sikia that he has handed it to the Kenya Police or ICC.. Kenyans were expecting this announcement on his arrival back to Kenya.. But wapi! more insults, propaganda and innuendo's spewed left, rigjt and centre !! bure kabisa.. Miguna's groupies sure do follow him blindly.. ama ;D

I saw part of Miguna interview of the NTV show the Stream. Among other things Miguna resorted to what he does best criticize people's academic records. Phillip Ochieng he assures us has no degree and was merely fathering kids all over America. Prof. Mutua is not well educated since he went straight from high school to University! Miguna also suggested that Sarah Elderkin has no academic papers. That is classic Miguna for you, he is a saint, only he has the papers and all of his critics are not learned and can therefore not criticise him on that basis (in the case of Ochieng their moral failings mean they have no right to criticise). What I wonder is why Miguna chooses to always question other's academic qualifications (those with a long memory will remember that he questioned the academic qualifications of Prof. Kagwanja. The most amusing thing is that a lawyer with no education beyond a certain point sees fit to tear down others who are more learned than him instead of responding to their criticisms valid or not.

Miguna himself knows that and all sensible people here and elsewhere have pretty much figured that out. I believe you are one of the sensible folks around here and I am sure with time you will figure that out too. Take your time. I just thought it is quite reprehensible to invoke the PEV horrors and peddle lies for personal gain. If some people find it normal to do so then we are in a bigger problems as a country than we thought. You want to talk about who is sleeping with who to sell a book, great, bring it on but don't use the trauma and pain of the PEV and open live wounds for profit. That is a sin in my books and that is why I am outraged about it. Lies as a tool of commerce is not very productive at the end but if those lies deal with life and death some of us may refuse to keep silent. That is exactly what I have done. I think Miguna has heard me loud and clear and I also think it is time for me to get off the Miguna circus caravan on Jukwaa. I will do do after having made my point something I thought had to be brought out. Don't expect me back in the cesspool any time soon.

Is it possible to arrange to read Miguna's book as he ha quoted you on things said or done between the two of you and then come back and giveus your views? So far in my reading Miguna has not mentioned PEV in the book so it is something you can easily drop from your list of annoying things and lies as you call them.
That would allow us to concentrate on the written sord and dissect Miguna. You assistance would be in the form of confirming or clarifying some of the stuff in the book which sometimes sound rather fantastic! I think the debate can be enhanced that way.

What's significant is your evasion of Adongo's contention that Miguna (his otherwise close confidant) never mentioned PEV in the book yet still pretending to now know "much" about it.

I WILL REPEAT AGAIN TELL YOUR FRIEND MIGUNA TO HAND OVER THE CRUCIAL "PEV" INFORMATION HE IS WITHHOLDING TO THE KENYA POLICE OR ICC.. Kipchumba Murkomen's view on "Peeling Back The Mask": The PM's "reform" tag has been "punctured". Even Makali, a former ODM propagandist (he once held Phil's day job), had to concede that the international community may have to re-examine Raila who they assumed was their "blue eyed boy" in KE's political cesspool.

Even Makali, a former ODM propagandist (he once held Phil's day job), had to concede that the international community may have to re-examine Raila who they assumed was their "blue eyed boy" in KE's political cesspool. ;D ;D now it heats up:) Blue Boy? The International community has seen through Miguna's propaganda, innuendo"s allegations which he can't substantiate, Why hasn't Canadian Government supported him if indeed they believed his allegations? Gathongo was very welcomed in the UK and encouraged to proceed to fight the corruption in government " he had tapes too" to proof. International community deals in facts not fiction... ;D

Adongo,
Thank you for response and please don’t feel hounded by the unfolding queries re Meeguna, PEV and what you may know on the same.
Let me explain where I find you falling short with your explanation regarding the same:
By your own declaration, you stated that you have had the opportunity of being actively engaged with Meeguna and discussed in depth on matters ODM. You are also adamant that Meeguna was lying about what he knows as he had alleged on ODM/PEV during his book launch and that his possible reasons could be that he wanted to promote his book sales, which of course you find to be a reckless attitude and unethical to say the least. So far that is fine.
But then considering your level of engagement with Meeguna prior to your fallout, it defies any logic that the two of you could not have discussed in detail about PEV, during and after it had taken place. In such discussions it is inconceivable that the two of you did not touch on the nitty gritty of what was happening; For example, who was responsible for what and what your opinions were on the same. Meeguna could have either vouched for the innocence of the players in ODM, justified their actions if they were actively playing any role, or perhaps simply acknowledged PEV as the one sided victimisation of a particular ethnic group and in particular supporters of ODM.
But nothing has so far come out of you. On the contrary, your comments are restricted in nature and you may just appear to be almost attempting to divert others’ focus from what you actually have known, by narrowly focussing on Meeguna’s PEV outburst. That is my call and that is what I am asking you to shed light upon if you can, without the possibility of being labelled as ‘unethical friend’ we so much talk about.
Try again, please.

THIS IS THE TIME FOR THE FINAL LIBERATION OF KENYA By MIGUNA MIGUNA, August 16, 2012 (......) ....., on the illusive but yet incomplete liberation struggle for our country; liberation from totalitarianism, intolerance, exploitation, inequalities, inequities, corruption, tribalism and nepotism. Yes, liberation from the poor and deceptive leaders; and from the criminally high rates of unemployment and poverty!
These are our main ailments as a people. They are the main issues CRAP, totally needless crap statement, says phil in toto! Really? Just a moment fella! Miguna gives a concise summary of what, in his opinion, are the major ailments of Kenya. That is, his socio/political diagnosis. He reveals his state of the kauntry ;D - gateways preferred pronounciation, his thinking on which problems are priorities. Now, opinions being like arzholes, according to Dirty Harry Clint, others can weigh in with theirs, to debate and contest the best of the lot. But what does the ODM mole phil do?. He says, a needless and total crap of a statement! That is dismissal without worthwile substantiation. Phil does not bother to take to task each of the elements in the diagnosis, to show case upon us why it is crap. Why this incapability. Neither does Phil author his own alternative diagnosis, his own state of the union as it were. He simply miaws like a stray cat, and scampers off to post more pornographics of ODM rallies. Maybe it pays well. It does not occur to him, our ODM-valve, that he could for instance, taking one example, detail his disagreement with Miguna´s position on the situation of workers. That in his opinion there is no exploitation as MM alleges, because our workers are some of the best paid forces in the world -- are not our MPigs and government jet set the best paid in the world etc etc. No?On a debating political blog, when one offers such a concise import of his thinking as Miguna has done in the section I herald above, whether it is for propaganda like is the case in political party manifestos, it will not be enough to dismiss offhand without offering an alternative pitch, nor puncturing logic, nor factual critique, nor better analysis, that will reduce the propositions being contested to fit the chosen adjective. Total crap in the case of Phil vs Miguna In the light of this gaping intellectual deficit, I posit it is Phil´s mind which, here, is revealed to be crappy scrap, inadequate, and essentially the inferior of Miguna´s. I suggest you, phil, further restrict yourself to photo-reports of ODM rallies. There I will give you a lacklustre pass . For consitency and dedication. Remember rallies are stagemanaged events, yap, propaganda shows, therefore without --for balance, photos of Kenyans in their daily labours in real lives --crushing rock in quarries past Mlolongo for 10 hrs day on a scoop of beans, hawking some chinese lightware in marathon to-and-fro walks from Kawangware to Westland shopping center, etc etc, your photo-reports do not mean much as political discourse. They are unipolar. Just propaganda stuff. A tale of studio portraits of black miners under apartheid. Glossies. But I really do not think you can get what am saying. Too much kenchic and GM stuff in your diet I bet! Otherwise, for instance, you would have the sense to use the word crap appropriately. On your own jukwaa stuff. Bure kabisa. THIS IS THE TIME FOR THE FINAL LIBERATION OF KENYA By MIGUNA MIGUNA, August 16, 2012
At the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi
Today, as I arrive back from a one-month working holiday in Toronto, Canada, I wish to thank all Kenyans of good will and friends of Kenya, for their extraordinary support and fortitude in the face of increasing intolerance and emerging dictatorial tendencies, tendencies most Kenyans thought we had buried with the enactment of the new Constitution on August 4, 2010, but which have reared their ugly heads most recently in chilling scenes of barbarism exemplified by the burning of my effigy and the burial of my coffin in a mock funeral.
Ironically, those loudly shouting about their (tainted) reform credentials have neither censured nor condemned these acts of hooliganism and lawlessness. These fake and hypocritical ‘reformists’ use empty rhetoric to woo votes but do not care about the true state of our country. They drink wine but preach water to our country men and women.
Many Kenyans are asking, following the political tectonic shifts and volcanic eruptions precipitated by the publication of my book, Peeling Back the Mask: A Quest For Justice in Kenya: where do we go from here?
While I do not want to be prescriptive nor claim any authority in determining the “Way Forward”, it is my wish and desire that we start focusing our attention, as a people and a country, on the illusive but yet incomplete liberation struggle for our country; liberation from totalitarianism, intolerance, exploitation, inequalities, inequities, corruption, tribalism and nepotism. Yes, liberation from the poor and deceptive leaders; and from the criminally high rates of unemployment and poverty!
These are our main ailments as a people. They are the main issues that I address in my book, and that I would urge my fellow country men and women to focus on. Our unflinching focus on these issues will ensure that the Constitution remains a living and thriving organic product of our collective struggles. Let us work together to bring probity, transparency and accountability to all aspects of public life. It is our duty to hold all our so-called leaders to account. But even more important: we must carefully, consistently and thoroughly vet everyone who seeks elective position, especially at the apex of the political spectrum.
Nobody – absolutely nobody – should get a free pass. No one is entitled to be president. There is no free ticket to the Presidency of the Republic of Kenya!
It feels good to be back. Thank you and God bless Kenya.
Crap. A totally needless statement. The elephant in the room is whether Miguna will immediately record a statement with police regarding his outbursts during his book launch that ODM met to plan PEV in 2008. Or at the very least table evidence to back up his outrageous claims. Isnt it funny Miguna has all but abandoned his Nyando home and village folks where it may have been ideal to take a vacation and instead opts to go take fly thousands of miles for vacation whilst taking accomodation in a student dormitory somewhere in Canada, then coming back to lecture Kenyans on how to go about their lives? The false bravado being displayed at JKIA is evident. Miguna has - ironically - gone to bed with the very people he is seemingly castigating upon his return. Until recently as broke as a church mouse, Miguna was financed and funds paid into his personal offshore accounts to publish his book and continue his public anti-Raila rhetoric. Perhaps this is what the vacation was all about! What shameless hypocrisy and greed! Ati Raila should first reveal who financed publishing of his book before Miguna does the same. Bure kabisa!

Einstein,
Your sad comments are not amusing at all. OO is your "own brother" you say and that is why you have chosen to 'expose him in public, is your reasoning. What a hypocrite! If brotherhood means such a public betrayal of trust, I'd rather have none and thank God I am not one of "your own".
How can anyone justify declaring to the greater public what was previously given in confidence, irrespective of the prevailing, even perhaps a developing sour relationship? In my books that is cheap and pathetic a behaviour. I do not need any "moral authority" to call you out on the same. I simply cannot understand what kind of people find such a behaviour as 'normal'. It is not that OO was 'haunting you, stalking you and even insulting you 'in private' a la Sadik. If that was the case perhaps I could understand.
Here is a man, who innocently thinking he can trust you for a moment, decides to vent his frustrations out to a "brother". You know, a shoulder to cry on from the emotional pain endured. In confidence though!
Not in a million nights were there any expectations that one day "brother einstein" will declare the said 'private' conversation in his very own Jukwaa to his own deliberately intended detrimental value! Cheekily, you go on to attach a false 'vow' that you will not lay bear the specific contents of that conversation as if to cleans your unsanitised behaviour, only indicate that "OO complained against so and so…" at the time, and now you find it fit to hold the same against him!
For your information "brother", the damage intended has already been done! We don't have to get to know the specific contents of your private conversation with Oloo to know that you are an untrustworthy character and hypocritical at that. Ironically just as the prominent subject Miguna has been to his own friends and "brothers" perhaps!
This is a behaviour which I find quite alarming and certainly potentially destructive upon our very social fabric. Such is a behaviour which will undesirably build in and develop unavoidable mistrust between friends and "brothers", between neighbours and strangers. Subsequently social paranoia may set in and everyone is to their individual selves. Who do you trust? For that whom you trust today can easily be your Judas tomorrow!
My none"brother" einstein, where do we draw the line with this? Where do we? You tell me.

If it is true that the damage intended has been done, then the better! In that case, I would have succeeded in my mission. I needed exactly this damage to free my brother OO from the clutches of the suicide-bomber Miguna Miguna by doing to Miguna Miguna exactly what he has done to his colleagues and confidants. It was very clear to me that OO would also be hurt in the process of getting him freed from a suicide-bomber. But that is the small price he would have paid to slowly be able to rebuild and restore his hitherto completely damaged/shattered credibility, integrity and dignity as a result of Miguna Miguna's actions. Should my brother OO hate me in the short-term after that rescue operation, in the very long-run he will thank me! But like I said, it would do you a lot of good to keep off. I do not care for even a minute what you or anybody else for that matter thinks about me in this mission. How I go/went about it is none of your business. It is solely mine. This is exclusively for the sake of my brother OO. I realise, you still do not get what I mean by 'my brother' in reference to OO.

Job talked about things reaching saturation point...Me for starters, have reached saturation point. I cant take it no more. This Miguna topic, plus OO's contribution to it, has just pushed me to the point of convulsing due to its lethal maximum concentrations.
I couldn't agree more. This once formidable forum has become Miguna's play ground, thanks to one Oloo. I don't write much, but I always come to read. Of late its more of the same drama and I too have had enough of Miguna's theatrics. Moesha, Cut the crap. Democratic discourse demands that positions are taken based on facts. Just to throw wild accusations and blame Oloo is undemocratic and retrogressive. If Oloo were a blind disciple, this would never be the forum you praise it to be. Follow the facts, both sides deserve to be heard.

So, sniping publicly was the better option in order to inflict maximum damage on the suicide-bomber with the possibility that OO also gets hurt a little bit in the process. I thought I mentioned that in the post above. But please accept my position that I do not intend to debate my mission with anyone else on this board. If OO thinks my action was inappropriate and unnecessary, only he can say so publicly and act accordingly. This is about him. It is not about Einstein. If everybody else could now excuse me please!?
