Fellas,You all know I love sports. But goodness me, that Clottey guy looks darker than my aunt. I hope he is tougher. That would be very hard to do. But this is fun. This is what I am talking about. This is my take. He(Clottey) is going to get his butt kicked by Pacman. I am going to try to watch this. But, remember it is March Break for kids in North America. The young man seems to have little respect for the current fighters. He is of no help to me on this one. He loves and respects the Mohamed Alis (he says there is nobody else like him in boxing), he talks about George Foreman, Frazier, Sugar Ray Leonard and people like that. He loves Floyd Mayweather. If Pac ever meets Floyd, he will walk the ends of the earth to watch it. Until then he doesn't seem to care. But this is my bet. Pac is going to make mince meat out of Clottey. But I have a sneaky feeling Clottey could shock us all. That would be something. Wouldn't it. I don't mind it at all. It is like the Chelsea -v- Inter Milan UEFA march on Wednesday this week. Whoever wins we will love them more. That is what the boy said. He wants Mariga' s team to win because that means a win for his country, but he sincerely loves Chelsea. That has been his team for the last few years. Good thing I am not the referee. Cheers folks. A nice week is coming upon us. adongo

Adongo,
Just watched the fight - a good fight indeed.
Pacman certainly won as you predicted, but the one guy who walked out of the ring with a swollen (pulp) face was Pacman - the winner.
Clottey walked out with his face smooth and intact and did put up a great fight.
I give it to Pacman - his speed, energy & stamina is unmatched. As for power - that was Clottey's domain.
I would have wished to see Mayweather vs Pacman just like politicalmaniac. Never rule that possibility out...maybe someone is just building more anticipation.

Job and others, This fight still does not answer questions about PacMan's drug testing issues. His political ambitions may just get into the possibility of the biggest fight vs Mayweather. As far as I can see, this was a training session for PacMan. Let hime face Mayweather in the ring. That is when we may just about cosnider him in the same ranks as Muhammad Ali.

Are you guys following the World Cross Country and the IRB Sevens in Hong Kong?? Kenya is participating at both events. Not to worry as the Rugby Sevens team - shujaa - lost to South Africa in the semis if the plate competition. Smoa won the main cup beating the New Zealand all blacks in the finals. But the athletics team in Poland has brought back the smiles! This is great news. Kenyan all the way!!! After the clean sweep of medals at the world cross country, the 12km Gold was grabbed by Ebuya after 11 years! More on x-country here: www.morethanthegames.co.uk/athletics/2810157-kenyas-chebet-claims-surprise-gold-world-cross-country

Just watched HBO's 24/7. Can't stand Mayweather (either he is quite a showman or just plain arrogant). I think Mosley has a very good chance of pulling an upset (if we can call it that) and finally teaching this guy a lesson...it's my wish at least.

PM Do your know this Kenyan who was fighting in the undercard match of Klitschko world title match yesterday? GELSENKIRCHEN, GERMANY - MAY 29: Nenad Borovcanin of Bosnia (R) hits Raymond Ochieng of Kenya during their heavyweight fight prior to the WBC Heavyweight World Championship fight between Vitali Klitschko of Ukraine and Albert Sosnowski of Poland at the Veltins Arena on May 29, 2010 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.Klitschko retained his title, but he was struggling before knocking out the challenger in the tenth round. Haymaker (David Haye) will not give him an easy time when they meet. What do you think?

Adongo / P'Maniac, Are you guys following the Kenyan domination at the World Junior Championship in Moncton, Canada? Amazing!!!! Very refreshing to watch these youngsters conquer the world. Kenya is actually above USA, Cuba, GB and other power houses on the medals table. www.iaaf.org/wjc10/results/eventCode=4146/placing/index.htmlSenior Africa Athletics Championships starts next week here in Nairobi, lets hope the seniors can replicate what the juniors have done in Canada. Then we do our part and crown it with a YES win at the referendum on 4th August!!!! What more can a Kenyan ask for? Here are some of the pics from Canada.

I need to see the Rudisha video of him breaking the 800M mark. I predict within 5 yrs we shall see a sub 1.40 800M, something equivalent to what Usain's 9.7 something did for the 100M Meanwhile Look at who Manny is fighting next! Say it aint so Manny, why the dithering in setting up a Manny - Floyd showdown a 100M dollar fight everyone wants to see?

Guys here is the Daudi Rudisha record breaking 800M run video. This guy is so darned dominant, Usain Bolt style.
If he is not overworked by agents or riddled with injury, take 800M 3 medals for Kenya in the next Olympics (Oops unless he has peaked already!)

If he is not overworked by agents or riddled with injury, take 800M 3 medals for Kenya in the next Olympics (Oops unless he has peaked already!) Bolt himself has commented on the parallels between him and Rudisha Excerpts: “As the track season winds down I look back on 2010 as not my best year but it was a good year for many other athletes. From the start of the year I stated that with no major Championships I was going to take it easier but unfortunately injuries caused me more disruption than planned. I had to miss the Diamond League meetings in Zurich and Brussels but have been watching my friends doing well. I also watched David Rudisha burn up the track at 800m and set a few new world records. A lot of people say we are similar in the way we run – both tall and powerful.
“Over the last few weeks I have been busy promoting my new book – Usain Bolt, 9.58 My Story. It was launched in London last week (September 2) and I did quite a lot of signings and media workI hope the agents of these talented Kenyan do not run him to death for short term gains, but allow him to pattern his training and career along the likes of the Ethopian mega star Bekele, who dominated the long distance for a decade or so.

Kenya's world 800m record holder David Rudisha celebrates as he arrives for a home-coming party in the village of Kilgoris on September 17, 2010. Rudisha made a triumphant return to his hometown of Kilgoris in western Kenya where he was crowned a Masai warrior. This sleepy town of 3000 people, bordering the famous Masai Mara National Reserve came to a standstill when Rudisha, who broke the 800 metres world record twice last month, landed in a police helicopter, which had brought him from the capital, Nairobi.Even Arap Moi wants to be this guy's friend and attended his homecoming. With a convoy like that, many a politician wants to be seen as close as possible to Rudisha David.

Damm Damm damm, Manny pacquiao calls Floyd Mayweather A COWARD!Floyd is avoiding Manny? This would be ONE OF THE GREATEST fights EVER! Manny calls Floyd a coward, and Floyd then goes on a rant tinged with racism.Floyd then threatens to beat the living daylights out of his live in ex-Girl friend and mother of his 3 kids. I think the guy is done now as a boxer and has entered into the celebrity circuit for stunts and money
