Kenyans, Just a polite reminder that this being the dark month that it is in Kenya, One of our bravest sons passed on this Saturday 20 years ago. Bishop Alexander Kipsang Muge died on Aug 14, too young, and too soon to see a Kenya he wanted to see where Kenyans live at peace with each other. Not to speculate what he'd think about August 4th, we are tempted to say he'd have said with Njoya: Ebenezer, thus far the Lord has been with US ALL. Join us as we celebrate twenty years after Muge on FB blogging at www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=305736587701&index=1. Regards

This is a man who will be remembered for many generations to come and revered too. I remember meeting him while in campo, he came to a sports and health clinic at St Patrick's Iten that we were hosting in RV and then Western. What a kind and gentle man he was.
Our van was over heating and he called the diocese, and they arranged for a tow truck and mechanic who attended to the van. We then went ahead for dinner at the local Bishops house and were catered for by the locals who paid us back ten fold in milk, mboga, choma and ugali, for the little sports equipment, books and medicines were brought along.
What an amazing Kenyan he was!
