I'm yet to hear any slight condemnation from ODMers especially the ones here in Jukwaa about the primitive and cowardly attack on Miguna, an innocent Kenyan exercising his democratic right in a free country whose people fought so hard for the new constitution. Instead we have cheering and gloating combined with 'I told you so' mentality. Really sad and shemeful! This is from Makadara MP Mike Sonko via his Facebook page.I strongly condemn the assault and attack of Miguna Miguna by rowdy youths in Mombasa. This is unacceptable and barbaric. This assault insults our democracy as Kenyans, it insults the freedom of speech and expression and more so it Insults our dignity as Kenyans. Police should carry out thorough investigations and bring to book those who shamelessly committed the act. Kenyans, we forget so fast on what we've gone through in the Past. We never learn. We love violence so Much as if it's the only 'HOLY' way to solve our problems...#MyOpinion no peeling back stones.
Forko Jembe, democratic my foot! Who gave MM the right to insult people and expect to go free. If the same Kenyan law can not protect the abused, the the abused have the right to protect themselves! MMs book promotion tour, and his utterances are a recipe for chaos. By now MM should have been apprehended and locked in safe custody. Toilet mouth! eti "I made raila".... "Luos are Robots" I mean is a leader in Kenya, the prime minister in Kenya with supporters far and wide. MM can not go a round rubbing his filth on Raila and expect no one to react , coz it is his RIGHT. RIGHT KITU GANI? If he has issues with RAO, let him be civil, and debate RAO in a civil manner. I mean you wanna tell me that one will come to your home and insult your father for that matter day in day out, chest thumping and sit watching coz it is his right? and with the police protection? BURE KABISA. eti ODM SHOULD CONDEMN. KISS MY FEET!

Really? So where do you want to start? from the Rape cases or How I'm an opportunistic Punk? and by the way before you answer that one refer to Moderator Oloo first!! I'm waiting!!! Yes Gloves off as you put it.. go for it !!! Next.. what other name do you have for me? .. I don't have to abuse you.. I just have to post some facts here!!As for Mombasa save your crocodile tears for Miguna.. I haven't yet seen you shout or cry here when it comes to those PEV innocent Kenyans buried 6ft under that Miguna has spat on!!! yes let the Gloves be off!! and all moderators can abuse and post on here all you both want ... I'm damn ready!! I don't have to use insults to make a point Kathure.. ask Oloo!! maybe you are used to bullying Jukwaa members on here that ain't me.. take your bullying tactic's and threats elsewhere.. madame "So where do you want to start? from the Rape cases or How I'm an opportunistic Punk?"
Go right ahead. Ya start right there with rape cases that you keep harping on. Do what you may. I don't run to oloo for everything. I do have my own mind. Hopefully they haven't killed him yet and my son can still have his father. Put out whatever you want. Keep phil and RR well informed and come crying here about confidentiality. Now, you still haven't answered my question. Have you ever been pummeled by a husband because he disagreed with what you said or did? Was he ever justified in so doing? Answering that may, just may, help you comprehend why what happened in Mombasa is wrong plus wrong and that can only equal wrong. goodbye milady. I've got a youth to attend to in a few hours. We're in the same time zone so you catch my drift. Kathure. have you ever been raped? or had too many men in your life that you forgot to count? I sincerely don't care about your opinions here, Everyone in life makes a choice to what path they want to take, stop using your son on here.. I believe many Jukwaa members have family members who they don't keep yupping about on here..with due respect.. and No Jukwaa member have we heard wishing Oloo any ill fate so don't use that as excuse to post insults here..
So remind me when you gave me any of your money? in order to call me an opportunistic punk "never"..Let me say it loud and clear, for you to call me an Opportunistic.. are you referring to a contact you referred to me related to a Business investment!! first and foremost it was I who was introducing them to an investor and not the other way round!! Ask them.. while you are at it make sure You tell them I'm canceling the investment that I had already started processing.. it aint worth being called an Opportunistic punk when I'm actually the party that has found them investors.. utter nonsense!
But I will call the individuals tomorrow to inform them that I will not move forward with the investment deal as I had promised them through my investors.. it is their loss Kathure not mine.. I will inform them that I do not like being called and Opportunist PUNK BY YOU.. JUST because you referred them to me.. Utter nonsense.. there many companies looking for investors in Kenya I can have my pick from the private sector.
If Oloo chose to accompany Miguna in a hostile environments from Nakuru, Kisumu then Mombasa, knowing very well that Kenyans were displeased with Miguna, and irate Kenyans might react.. that was his choice and you have no right to Blame anyone here..on Jukwaa.. the opportunistic punk says so !!!!

This one is for Raila Odinga. Thanks for showing us that you can not counter opposition in a democratic, peaceful and civilized manner. If you were a good person before, Kenyans now know you to be otherwise. When I met you in your hotel room in Toronto, I was fooled by your seemingly humble demeanor. How wrong I was. I'm sure your thugs didn't send those thugs to Mombasa to terrorize Miguna because he has something to say that you don't like. You beat Orengo and others into submission, now your attentions are on Miguna. For reasons of optics, In Kisumu your thugs made sure things remained somewhat civil. But in Mombasa you unleashed your gangsters thinking that we'd be fooled into believing that because that is not your home turf, they were not sent by you. Kenyatta did it to your late father the great Oginga Odinga who died a principled man. Moi did it to you. And now we see that you learned well from those two thugs. If the diaspora should have an opportunity to vote, my vote will be for Martha Karua. Not you majesty of the Luo people. GOOD JOB, YOU ARE SUPPORTING YOUR EX, WITH MM, BUT i dont think it is RAO fault.

A STATEMENT BY MIGUNA MIGUNA, SATURDAY AUGUST 25, 2012
I am issuing this statement from the Moi International Airport, Mombasa at 7:30pm with a broken heart but a determined and unflinching focus; a focus for the full and undiluted realization of our rights and freedoms enshrined and entrenched in the Constitution; the right and freedom to think, to express ourselves and to associate with whomsoever we want as long as these are expressed in a peaceful and legal manner.
A few hours ago, a marauding and organized gang of Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s supporters sent to my book tour event at the Castle Royal Hotel in Mombasa forcefully entered the event after it had started and violently disrupted it, assaulted me and members of my book tour team and caused serious physical and financial damage. This barbaric attack was both unprovoked and unjustified.
I therefore take this earliest opportunity to condemn it unreservedly in the strongest terms possible. I challenge the Goons’ Captain and Commander, Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga, to act as a statesman and recall his hooligans!
The second liberation was anchored on the realization of a new constitutional order and practice. When we were fighting for, were detained, tortured and persecuted during the dark totalitarian reign of terror, our intention was to broaden and deepen the democratic space; not to shrink it.
We were fighting for and suffered humiliating treatment, harassment, indignity, and other gross violations of our human rights in order to create an open, tolerant and egalitarian society governed by the Rule of Law.
For more than two decades, freedom fighters like Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, Markhan Singh, Achieng’ Oneko and Kaggia endured inhumane treatment and sacrificed so that we can live in relative peace, prosperity and in a thriving democracy.
The new Constitution was not for one man; it was for all of us. We did not fight for it so as to elevate Raila Odinga to the presidency of this country. While Raila Odinga is free to roam the countryside, towns and cities, he has obviously directed, organized and authorized his hooligans to subject me to inhumane treatment; to harass me and to deny me my rights of thought, movement, expression and association.
When Raila Odinga’s thugs force their way into the county meetings I am holding to promote my book, Peeling Back The Mask: A Quest For Justice In Kenya; to discuss national issues such as the extremely high and intolerable unemployment among our youth, the prevailing tribalism, nepotism and runaway corruption not just at the Prime Minister’s Office, but also in other government institutions; Raila Odinga inexplicably feels personally threatened. Instead of responding coherently to the book and my open challenge regarding corruption at his office, his response is to send marauding goons after me.
Unfortunately for him, many of us are determined to live according to the dictates of the new Constitution. We have resolved to subject all public servants, including Raila Amolo Odinga, to searing vetting and interrogation. We shall not be cowed, intimidated and muzzled.
Raila Odinga and his goons must respect the supremacy of the Constitution. He is not above the law.
Make no mistake about it: I will not be intimidated and muzzled by anyone, including Raila Odinga!
Raila Odinga will not ascend to the presidency of this country through intimidation, threats, mayhem or through his goons!
We shall meet all the merchants of impunity head on.
I will continue my county book tour. My next stop is Nyeri on Monday August 27th, 2012.
Thank You.
God bless you! God bless Kenya!

August 25th, 2012 This kind of statement is what you can call a load of rubbish, its a pity that even as the PM ignores him this guy continues to defame the PM. Continuous insinuation that RAO is some sort of gang leader or militia is going to far. Maybe the PM should contemplate suing this guy. All freedoms guaranteed in our constitution have limitations too. Even a jilted lover does not behave this way. Only someone in some kind of payroll can behave this way. He's only target is that Raila should never be pork, for me he is not intersted in helping Kenyans, because if he cared for Kenya he would campaign vigorously to stop Raila but not through insults. The likes of Raila,Njoyas,Orengos,Gitobus,Matiba.Rubia ,Jaramogi endured beatings for a good course which have achieved & in pursuit of implementing it . Migunas beatings are only to stop Raila, what a shame.

My Sister Kathure,That portion in red above really cracked me up!! Do you really mean that? Did you really think so much of Jaramogi when he was still alive? If my memory serves me right, such praises were poured onto Jaramogi by every Tom, Dick and Harry only after his death much the same way they will do for their departed 'COMRADE' Martin Shikuku on his burial day!! In real life, Jaramogi's COMRADES treated him like a dog!!Kathure I bet you my mother's only goat that the day Raila will be finally gathered before his people aka dead, you will be amongst the first to log onto Jukwaa and moan how principled and great Raila was during his life time!! So, please just cut it! During Jaramogi's life till his death, the ONLY people who stood by him through thick and thin were alone his community. History CAN NEVER be re-written NOT EVEN by invoking Bob Marley's name and melodies! And please give teacher Bob Marley his due respect by not mentioning him in the same breath with Miguna Miguna and OO. That is an insult to Rasta!! einsteinfirst off stop calling me your sister. i'm not your sister in the black solidarity sense nor in the biological. In case you haven't noticed I don't pander to anybody "big man" or not. I said it right here before that the day Raila starts acting a fool is the day I will call him on his shit just like I've consisitently called the Uhuru's and all other rubbish out. Just because you are unprincipled not all of us people are. Get that through your thick skull which you put here for public display daily. And stick that lolli in your mouth, grab the teddy and blankie! Kathure, To argue with people like Einstein et al about the short coming of their little god is like to argue with chotara/nassir/mulu mutisya about the shortcomings of Moi. They are sycophants, incapable of thinking of anything else beyond what they are told. As one might even say.. robots.

Please, I hereby ask you to forthwith desist from blaspheming my God! You are free to call me in person ALL you want in this world, but please DO NOT/NEVER touch my God!! I do not have 'gods', I ONLY have GOD aka JAH aka The Lord of Lords aka The Lord Almighty! Are we on the same page sir? Now, this is NOT a joke. It is a very serious matter to me!! Once more I would like to appeal to all Kenyans to desist from molesting Miguna Miguna in anyway as he tours Kenya to promote his book. The ODM condemns in strong terms what happened to Miguna Miguna in Kisumu and Mombasa. All Kenyans have constitutional rights of speech, assembly and association and all these should be accorded to him.
Prof. P. Anyang' Nyong'o. ODM Secretary General.

Chaotic scenes in Mombasa as the mob goes for Miguna. Note the character with a catapult at full stretch at 1:10 inside the hotel a few feet away from Miguna. If Raila & ODM do not condemn the violence there is bound to be some blow back even if it's the karmic kind. Miguna should suspend the book tour for a while: We may have to bite the bullet, dear fellow citizens. Freedom is not a child's play. It has to be fought for and defended, in some other countries by bloody means. To have a look at intolerance vs freedom of expression, I went to watch a documentary after somebody on Jukwaa mentioned Salman Rushdie and his adventures with European Muslims, after the fatwa following the publication of the Satanic Verses. This documentary was about Aryaan Hirsi Ali, a former German-Dutch politician now working for a right-wing think-tank in Washington DC. Jamhuri can claim her, this Aryaan, because though born in Somalia, she went to school in Kenya, and only fled after her relatives here saw her more as a commodity, better sold off for wifely duties in adolescent, than be sent to further school. In Europe she received the shock of her life when the only thing they were interested in, was whether she understood she would have to repay the study-loan, quick and with interest. What she further did with her life was her own business. So as they say here, she doctorated, --graduate is not a currency term in Germany because even primary schools have graduations. (Hirsi Ali may have doctorated in Belgium or Holland). Inspired, and thinking of the fates of all those poor Muslim girls in Kenya and beyond, she became a leading feminist critic of the 'backwardness of Islam'. She soon radicalized into an unbeliever, and the death threats started to roll in. Forcing police protection. There are reels of cine where Muslim demonstrators bay for her blood outside debating theaters, where she is a guest peddling her book, debating audiences, autographing. Many institutes found it important to host the debates with her ---and as Muslims howled outside like wolves in mating season, Huntington's the clash of civilisations loomed big. The minister of police condescends with impunity: in this country we have always appreciated the cerebral. Peoples thinking can be wrong, but we never put them to death for it. Never be violent against them. We sit back, think out why they are wrong, engage them in debate, and correct the wrong thinking. Our fellow citizens loyal to a particular religion, definitely are not shaped in this mode. They remain a 1000 years behind, and looking at their countries, who wants to stand up and argue me wrong! And with that, the full powers of state protection were bestowed upon Hirsi Ali. (the religion-based Christian parties had their bones to pick with Hirsi Ali, but they did not do it in the Islamic fashion. They staged debates called feminism and religion, and invited Ali to battle). Looking at the comments of Kenyans on Miguna and his insults, I can not help but smile at their uncanny resemblance to the ones hurled at Hirsi Ali by the Islamic constituency where she came from, when missiles were thrown at her at a debate function. ---she was a provocateur! a blaspheming b!itch! sexually frigid, mentally rot, etc etc. When her collaborator in a film critical of Islam was slaughtered by a radical Muslim, the Imams smiled: he asked for it, did he not? Allah's sworded hand is long. But the rest of the civilised world stood aghast at the animal level of those people. THE CLASH OF CIVILIZATIONS, again. Miguna is forcing us into an internal clash of civilisations. Are we to tolerate party affiliated goons violently harassing, to intimidate into silence, a disgruntled element promoting a book, even if we think the activist is peddling lies, insults, innuendo and the rest of the juices that keep our tongues busy wagging in delight? Or do we stand up and say: we wanted freedom of expression! take that! debate the lies in peace, demonstrate in peace, take the insults to court, but do not attack physically to show disagreement. We moved on as a country.Miguna brings this debate so sharply into focus by his controversial and theatrical public performances, that fellows just have to pesa positione. Decide their stand in their hearts.

Only three sentences? This has to go down as the shortest statement issued by Orange House in history. It's more like a disclaimer than anything. It is a step in the right direction though. sawa, b6k, the professor whose brains have not been much professorial in academics of late, but more so in court psychophantics, deserves a rare pat on the back, but only after the flat of the back-hand has whacked his shurubus for his earlier statement that cotained the sinister word, sinister!

A STATEMENT BY MIGUNA MIGUNA, SATURDAY AUGUST 25, 2012 I am issuing this statement from the Moi International Airport, Mombasa at 7:30pm with a broken heart but a determined and unflinching focus; a focus for the full and undiluted realization of our rights and freedoms enshrined and entrenched in the Constitution; the right and freedom to think, to express ourselves and to associate with whomsoever we want as long as these are expressed in a peaceful and legal manner. This barbaric attack was both unprovoked and unjustified.I therefore take this earliest opportunity to condemn it unreservedly in the strongest terms possible. MIGUNA MIGUNA Moi International Airport, Mombasa
August 25th, 2012 This is a Joke, How does one even stoop so low? while most Kenyans can see all the stage shows, I wonder why Balala hasn't spoken? he was at the book Launch wasn't he? then he suddenly disappeared and left his hired goons to set a stage managed fracas.. Miguna should know Kenyans ain't foolish and they can see through his gimmick's.. Central Province awaits him and that is where his "Hero" glory awaits him.. I wonder when he was busy insulting PNU and Kibaki after the 2007-8 election fiasco.. if he had put his foot in central province what would have been the out-come? I bet you he would not have walked to tell the tale.. Bure Kabisa.. can someone inform Miguna singing Raila!! Raila is going nowhere.. Maybe he should change his tune and use "come Baby Come.. Lick my feet .. you Robots.. meanwhile his backers are desperate looking for anything to disrupt Raila's Presidency.. but their tactics have failed Miserably ;D ;D ;D
