I have wanted to slap an Mpig for quite a while now - so you can imagine my excitement at the Kidero slap. This is the type of wake up call these Mpigs need. Now forget the violence against women, tribe and party stuff being bandied around. Kenyan Mpigs have had slaps coming to them for sometime now- my only regret is- she did not turn the other cheek.
Shebesh has the habit of storming offices and unfortunately for her this time she met someone who was going to stand up to her.
Flash back- janury 23, 2013, Shebesh together with the Nyerii Mafia Wambui (oops Kidero is in real trouble)storms the electoral commission offices and hauls insults at the electoral staff who had to take off and lock themselves in an office. She was forced to apologize after the EC threatened sanctions. If shebesh is going to behave like a thug, spiting insults nose to nose at other people, she should accept blows now and then and be ready to return the blows in kind. Someone needs to slap these Mpigs once in a while to remind them that they cannot operate with impunity and just get away with it. Storming every toilet, funeral, church, market, school- you name it.
Shebesh cannot go around looking for war and then turn around and wave the "violence against women" card once she realizes she can bark but not bite. All over sudden this board has exploded with the male chauvinistic nonsense that KK moderates against day and night. What is all this bs that a man does not slap a woman in public /private and when he does it projects weakness? Stop the pretense people - and this is not similar to the "you must know people" episode.
What Kidero needs is a good lawyer.
The next slap - Mike Mbuvi Sonko
Power to you Kidero!

Jakaswanga, I was wondering when someone would play the tribal card & sure enough you didn't disappoint. Kidero is the Great Luo Hope you say? I thought he was seen more as a spoiler for the Great Luo King? Isn't that why he is considered a "weak link" given his cozy working relationship with Jubilee & the executive branch in particular? I for one had hoped that Kidero would govern Nairobi well enough to be considered for the presidential slot in the next general elections. I fear that having that slap on video, memory loss or not, will put paid to that. It makes for very bad optics... When it comes to KE electing "murderers for top seats", keep in mind that even the Dynamic Duo were never captured on video doing the things they are alleged to have done at the ICC. If anything, Uhuru had very good video footage of him telling a crowd of irate Kikuyu youths to stand-down & not take the law into their own hands when IDP's were flowing into Kikuyu & its environs with horror stories of the Killing Fields that were in the Rift Valley. He's still got a case to answer to at the ICC where even the airing of that video as part of his defense during the confirmation hearings wasn't enough to get him a get out of jail free card as Muthaura got. As for Sonko & Joho exchanging blows meters away from the president, as far as I know neither party went to the mboys to file an official complaint in those tomes they call OB's. The same applies to our wimpy AG when he was allegedly assaulted by Sonko (this guy has even been caught on video assaulting a security door, & he was the loser as he was sporting a bandage the following day). Shebesh, on the other hand, made a beeline to the nearest police station & filed a complaint immediately after being ejected from the governor's office. Things are maduong for Kidero, mate! So considering Kidero has already made some enemies within CORD ("weak link" & too much of a rising star, etc) I wouldn't be surprised if his demise wouldn't be mourned by the high & mighty at CORD. Equally, you have to keep in mind that Waititu is still claiming that cherry of governorship that was taken from his grasp by Kidero. Jimnah Mbaru may also be game for a by-election. The prospect of having a Kikuyu as Nairobi governor may be more appealing to Jubilee than having a quisling Luo one once Jubilee crunch their numbers & see the potential for by-election victory with Kidero safely out of the picture. Do you remember the time when presidential candidate UK read the riot act to Sonko & Shebesh & declared that they would henceforth work with Waititu & not against him? Kidero may have just taken the bait (whatever it is Shebesh said to him to set him off) that will bring upon his political swan song. Governor Waititu, enter stage left. What better revenge can Jubilee get after the Makueni senatorial loss than taking back the Nairobi governorship? He is a kind of Great Luo Hope, the qualification 'kind of' hinting at the contradictions of this position. To radical Jakomists he is a wimp, too smooth and elitist, and too much of a boardroom warrior. And a flirt with Jubilee. To the layer of middle class Luos, who recognise the powers of the state to bestow patronage and largesse, and want a proboscis [called oseke in dholuo] to the trough of Wanjiku's blood pulsating from the jugular where the party in power does puncture, aka the treasury, Kidero is of course recognised as a possible mediator. He could wrench a few crumbs from Uhuru Kenyatta's overflowing table and toss them Jaluos way! And, to the bareaucratic wing of the said group, scared sleepless of Uhuruto's purging sword, Kidero was a faint light of mitigation, that is why they lobbied him to beseech Uhuruto to temper the wrath of their sword --when they saw the likes of Tom Odongo and the other one summarily executed, and feared for more of the same. Willy-Nilly [with Jakom's grasp at the seat thwarted once more and the hedging of bets] the man has been thrust into the vortex of public expectations, so much so that, if you remember, he is a proposed ticket with the exceptional promise Ababu wa Namwamba. Effectively placing him, if he wins, to be Raila's replacement in CORD chairmanship. Weak link or not! Slapping a woman to cost him all that in Afrika, would be a pure Scandinavian coup for Kenyan women! But I have this hunch the duplicities of power games in emerging societies will keep him afloat. But he has to pay the price. He can nolonger keep the act of a Blue-Chip executive of exceptional pose, poise and diction. Such do not deliver slaps like he did and not resign! For a modernist to slap a woman like that, even if she is a makanga, and stay in high public office, needs a different narrative. A mutation. Or a re-discovery of the true self, that one be a fish in his waters! He has to be the ruffian governor of a Ruffian city called Nairobi. Nairobi, where every Estate has a killer gang; Nairobi where the police have 5 special units licensed to kill on sight; Nairobi the sprawling mass of vice-clad rotten slums surrounding a glittering CBD; yes, the Nairobi of child prostitutes and human filth in droves, all waiting for the train to humanity. In other words he has to look like he is the real thing: a tough cut-throat man running a tough cut-throat city to her true future! [Glitter like Seoul in South Korea!] Such a driven man slaps women in public, but also turns the city completely around in a few years. Mass Housing estates; water and electra; schools and hospitals; sewage and drainage infra-structure so that living between Umoja and Kayole does not look like KANO plains in the rain! The city works and breathes! and forgives him! He has to take the battle to Ferdinand Waititu --the peoples governor, and not wait for Waititu to come slap him out of his office! Mr. Nice Guy is dead, or at least the PR-disguise has been torn off by that slap ---'Aiyayayayay Kidero you slapped me!' The thug who was born in Majengo, the brothel rat from Gikomba, the street wise kid who became a blue chip executive, must now emerge and show colour. The ruthless grit that brought him up is what will save him. The PR-paint of middle class posh, wont do. NB: My Gikuyu pal with whom I trade socials jokingly told me that John Michuki had to slap Uhuru Kenyatta to wake him up. Kenyatta Junior was the official leader of the opposition to a Mr. Mwai Kibaki. Michuki thought Kenyatta was a pure fool. ---Join our people and meet your fate, silly American boy ----SLAP! Come learn from us and Kibaki how to be president! Because that is what we are planning ---SLAP! No more leader of the opposition --SLAP! that is that Kehee's fate --SLAP! Tough John Michuki, he made a president out of American-posh Uhuru Kenyatta. No it was not Moi. ---Kidero has no Michuki in his corner, but he has his original self: he did not escape out of that brothel area of Majengo to be governor by believing in miracles. Fate has smoked him out. Is he Original steel, or a mere spineless display fake, aka mifuano! b6k, I agree it would be a spectacular coup for Jubilee to capture Nairobi governorship. A good reward for Mudavadi whom they used worse than an old tart!? That could effectively cut into COrd's Western base, and together with the recent inroads at the coast -thanks to fake title deeds, Jubilee's electoral tyranny would be menacing indeed!

He just came back with a load the other day. What did those who went to the WASPs of Gerogia in Raila's tow come back with?! The Majengo thug unleashed! Waititu the Kibera thug now meets his match! It was always coming! two Eastlands uppity 'street urchins' fighting over the rule of Nairobi! while the Presidency is the battle between two princes from two dynasties! It is a historical quid pro quo~!

Michael, this is a very curious course of action for him to take. The NTV camera in your link may not have captured the actual slap as the Capital FM one but it did show more disturbing footage of how Shebesh was being forcefully removed from the Governor's office premises. Kidero would've been better off to acknowledge that he did indeed slap her & immediately apologize. He will now have to wait & see how the mboys will investigate Rachel Shebesh's assault report. If I were him, I would be drafting my resignation speech as well as building up a hefty kitty for any eventual out of court settlement because it's bound to get ugly.
Yes Shebesh may be a bit of heckler but that doesn't mean she deserved the slap, or even more than that, as one fellow Jukwaaist has pointed out. Assault is assault and that slap will come back to haunt the governor. Uhuruto Kidero is innocent till proven guilty. Heheheee! How that refrain sounds soo sooo familiar!!

It looks like Kidero is trying to pull a Zidane with all sorts of excuses as to why he slapped Shebesh. At least he concedes that he slapped her but is now offering justification.
The first line of defence appears to be that he was called a "k!hii" by shebesh hence his violent reaction.
The second line which sounds ludicrous is that Shebesh first touched Kidero's privates precipitating the slap - Ludicrous I say because for any man (that is not a pervert) who has someone going for their genitals; the first reaction is to go protecting the genitals and not to go punching or slapping the miscreant.
My suggestion to Kidero to save his political career is to use the new found friendship with Uhuru to arrange for an out of court settlement involving some cash to Shebesh and let the matter die.
All I can imagine is that on monday, Tobiko will be asking for the investigation file from the police and like in Kethi's case will order the police to prosecute Kidero and considering that Tobiko appears to be a man on mission against impunity at the top, Kidero's goose will be cooked.
Unfortunately, Waititu's petition is weak so it will have little impact in helping get rid of Kidero!

Unfortunately, Waititu's petition is weak so it will have little impact in helping get rid of Kidero! He should simply argue that it was an impulsive reaction to what felt to him a personal threat. I think it is clear that the woman went too close, and if what she was uttering was not friendly, it could have triggered a flight or a fight. In this case it was the latter. Except for the fact that we cannot separate the event from the genders concerned, this is really a very simple case. By the way, in many US states, people making the kind of physical provocation Shebesh seems to have been doing get killed rather than slapped.

Wonderfully captured: www.standardmedia.co.ke/?articleID=2000093029&story_title=kidero-what-was-she-doing-around-my-lower-abdomen&pageNo=2 Shebbesh slapped a man and it is filed at police! Two wrongs do not make a right, but a bit of self-reflection, self-criticism, is of mental health! I always say: KNOW YOUR COUNTRY! then you can really enjoy her movies! Then there is my sister Akinyi, the ex Mrs. Raphael Tuju. In her impatience in her fuel-guzzler, she knocked down the watchman opening her gate, and the police have been running around in circles. CONCLUSION: CLASS JUSTICE. Watchmen are vermin, especially to OUR HIGH-CLASS LADIES OF A CERTAIN KIND. Seeing slaps are this common both sides of the gender divide, Kidero vs Shebbesh takes a new dimension for me. This is not a moment of madness. One can not psychiatrise a whole country! This is an illuminating flash into the core of power. The nature of a whole society reflected in an individualised altercation between two of her elite representatives of opposite sexes. Power is a mean, merciless and cold-hearted beast. Stripped of all romanticism under high pressure, one can appreciate the violent instincts of raw power. Blood curdling yes, but a selective reaction when it comes to denunciation. Watchmen are not part of those, when abused, the chattering classes rise up with calls of resignation or jail to the high-profile perpetrator! That kind of elite societal hypocrisy, has its paybacks! Ayayayayaya!Whenever in Afrika I get the toxically romantic notions about power in my head --- the words in the constitution professing my rights for instance, I look for the images of dimistification from the continent. Showing you its raw form in Afrika. The police force in glorious impunity. Keeping the restive populace in their place, keeping them docile like the indigenous elite of colonial instincts wants them. The men in suits like Evans Kidero or William Ruto, or any of the the fair-sexed cream of the land now shouting Ayayayayaya this man has no respect for human beings, have of course no idea what I am talking about! As rulers, THE TOP LAYER OF THE SOCIAL STRATUM, they are too well insulated from the harsh and brutal consequences of their CLASS regime on the ground. But the lumpen know. The wretched of the earth know. The lofty constitution with its DREAMLAND proclamations is not part of their daily reality. When the forces of law and order slap you, you do not react in disbelief, neither do you run to the police station! Kidero and Shebbesh are just a pantomime show within the upper middle class! The aristocratic nomenklatura, bored and fat, well-earning and feeling useless, the bandit bourgeoisie develops strange erotical pleasures, irresistibly enacting their SM love-affairs in public! Ayayayayya! And their classmates --the FIDAS and the Cecyl Mbarires-- react in mock, voyeuristically indulged energised horror whose only genuine aspect is foaming pants! A scripted comedy show running to plot in real time! But here is the real show of the ruffian city as it is lived by her real population! No quarter given: Llaw and oorder dimistified! Fanya Fujo uone! The Real Kenya! Sasa, mkenya kwa mkenya, si ni uchawi? La! kawaida polisi kazini hilo! I am not reading you your miranda! and you can report me to CJ Mutunga if you want! No quarter given, fellow Kenyan! Police reforms? over your broken back! You know the score ladies! Enjoy the manhood of the law enforcement boys! Ayayayya! an innocent photo-journalist! --Did the high and mighty condemn his manhandling!?? No doubt a terrorist! nobody lamented his broken fate! Aayayayaya! you did not even clean him up, leave alone first-aid! But these two cops could not hide their feelings! A mark of decency within the belly of the beast! Uhuru Kenyatta is set to meet the Mombasa Republican Council! Well, that above is Omar Mwamnuazi, the leader! The policemen taking these statements from Kidero and Shebbesh are the guys who do the above. They must be amused somehow at some Kenyans! They do not know the meaning of the statement: have no regard for the value of human life! A slap qualifies as that? then you are talking about total alienation of a class! This is a brutal Kenya down on the street! and law and order in practice is exactly that! No Mirandas! It is a tribute to Shebbesh's protected upbringing, that she reached her [never mention a ladie's age -?-?-ties, without ever having come face to face with the raw brutality of her country. Now, I believe, she can genuinely fight for the eradication of all forms of physical brutality in Kenya ---even the one by the police on terrorrists!Otherwise her Ayayayayya, is just a sexual squeal! EVERY KENYAN BODY MUST BE INVIOLATE! PROTECTED TO THE LAST HAIR FROM ABUSE, BY WHOEVER AND WHEREVER. That is why ordinary citizens want REAL police reforms - -because the police are the most notorious routine abusers of Kenyans. And it is the ODM-turncoat Shebbesh and her new party that are keen on blocking the eradication of general impunity. Ayayayayya!? When the police slap you with the butt of a gun, you remain with no mouth to utter anything! That, is a Kenya I am hearing nobody fighting her corner in all this storm in coffee cup, between, for all I know, a kehee and his former makanga! ----Generous girl, Shebbesh! Reminds of the words they used to condemn the manhandling of the celebrated photo-journalist activist Boniface Mwangi! ---Did Atwoli say 'yeye amepata zake aliyetafuta!? O yeah, pardon me a bit of ruthless cynicism: Atwoli quoted in paraphrase: 'Shebbesh amepata zake aliyetafuta!'

Assault is assault and that slap will come back to haunt the governor. Uhuruto Kidero is innocent till proven guilty. Heheheee! How that refrain sounds soo sooo familiar!! You might want to distinguish factual guilt and legal guilt. Kidero is factually guilty (he has actually committed the offence) and we all know, because we can see the video, that he is factually guilty. He isn't legally guilty because he hasn't actually been convicted by a competent court.
'Innocent until proven guilty' typically refers to the presumption that one is not legally guilty until the relevant competent court has ruled; it does not refer to the view that one is not factually guilty until a court has decided the question of your factual guilt. Kidero is factually guilty, since we can all see him slapping Shebesh in the video, and then standing and looking very pleased with himself.
I didn't think that my opinion of ODM could sink any lower, but I spent twenty minutes last night reading ODMer justifications for the beating up of women, and they were all vomit-inducing. And, yes, I especially despise the fact that the defences of Kidero have gone explicitly tribal --- it's not too hard to find arguments that Shebesh is an uppity Gikuyu woman who got what she was looking for &c.

Einstein, oh lost one, of course Kidero is innocent until proven guilty but does he really want to follow that route? If Shebesh does proceed with her assault case (& Kidero does the same with his...he claimed she squeezed, tugged, or kneed his nether regions yet he didn't even wince as pointed out by Kamale), is he really ready to have all his past "bizness" with women out in the public domain? Can you imagine how the court will address questions such as "how did she touch you down there?" in great detail as our learned friends are prone to do? That's precisely the kind of he said-she said situation that eventually made Nancy Baraza blink & take her retirement money & run rather than face the music via censure from her judicial peers. If someone doesn't talk sense to the pair to drop their complaints then Kidero will be the biggest political loser in a court battle at the end of the day. After all, we all already know Shebesh is "compromised goods" having read her about her dalliances with a former PM & her recent alleged sexescapades with Senator Sonko.... Until Friday, Kidero was the sole gentleman politician we thought we had in KE...

Jakaswanga, no doubt deals will be made to try to save Kidero from himself but the damage is already done. As you clearly say, gone is veneer of a Blue Chip executive. The guy came across as Neanderthal beating up on a woman (sidenote: I am amused at Kathure's silence on this issue which normally has her posting with both guns blazing! ) & no doubt the FIDA's of this world will demand their "Scandinavian coup". As for the UK example, I suppose sometimes in life we all need to be slapped into shape. Pity for Kidero it will work in reverse. He has slapped himself out of the political capital he was gaining by the day as Governor of Nairobi & president in waiting...

Shebbesh slapped a man and it is filed at police! Two wrongs do not make a right, but a bit of self-reflection, self-criticism, is of mental health! Interesting 411, this. No doubt more dirt will be dug up on Shebesh especially around her past "invasions" into peoples offices or state-homes as well as her battles with Waititu that also allegedly went physical. This is precisely why Kidero (& Shebesh) will be best advised to quickly try & settle this matter out of court. There will be too much "toothpaste" coming out about his past in court sessions that can never be put back into the tube...

I have to agree with my mentor and fellow imbiber, jakaswanga. Any encounter with our Police Forces(Service) can turn into a life or death situation. They are unmannerly in all dealings with the common folk. The Kidero slap, to the Police, is a means of introduction, a sort of salutation, other pleasantries of the pain inducing sort follow later. I would like to state that violence against another human being should be punished without regard as to the perpetrator. That being said, here is a limerick dedicated to the great Kidero slap.
Shebesh, not known to be sheepish Went a ranting, all haughty and trickish Slap slap to the face Next time, I’ll use Mace Know people, now you look freakish

b6k you miss me? ah well. I'm not the resident feminist here. There are even men here who sometimes take feminist positions, ask each individual one of them what their position is. The other day, phil tried the same thing, and I saw kamalet hightlight his provocation because nothing makes a kamale happier than seeing people who support a Raila presidency fighting each other. I thought, silly phil, can't even differentiate who he should really be fighting. I didn't bite kamalet's bait. I let him talk to the hand. It's everyone's responsibility to speak out against the stupidity displayed by Kidero in hitting Shebesh. He's a looser for doing so, a cowad like so many men are. They go for those who they know are physically weaker. Equally, it is all of our responsibility to speak as loudly as you all are doing right now, against all forms of violence whether perpetrated by individuals or institutions such as the police. jakaswanga has laid this out elsewhere in this thread. A culture of all sorts of violence that is Kenya today, can't be suprised when this violence comes for them or spills outside the confines of the domestic front where men make it their regular pass time to batter women. It's a matter of chickens coming home to roost. Almost every single day, there are reports in the local dallies regarding Male Violence Against Women. MVAW. Kenyan men maim and kill kenyan women and children ALL OF THE TIME. It is only when a woman somewhere in the country retaliates (after years of torture) that the media and indeed the country throw a fit. And people ask me questions like, Don't you have any sympathy for the man who was cut up with a machete by his wife?. To which I answer, NO! You're heartless they say. To which I reply, I didn't see him have any pity on the woman he has been abusing for years. He gets a taste of his own medicine and off he runs to the backward organisation Maendeleo Ya Wanaume. Poor men. I'm waiting to see female parliarmentarins throw a fit about this all pervasive violence. TNA female paliarmenterians held a press conference where they lambasted Kidero and demanded his resignation. TNA has made that attempt @ painting itself as the coalition that supports women's rights and has appointed quite a number of women to power positions. But the question is who are these women? I've said this a thousand times and I'll say it again. Women as a group are not homogeneous. There are commonalities in the ways all women experience patriarchy, but also very importantly, there are specificities in the ways we experience the patriarchy. So, those women akina Mbarire, being as they are comprador, do not have the interests of Kenyan women at heart. What they do have is their own self interest of joining the mboys club. They are the sort of women who once they find themselves at the pinnacle of power; a place they could only ascend to because of the work of feminists and women in general, pull up the ladder so no other women can come up that same ladder. Oppressive systems can absorb a few folks from marginalized groups. Under pressure brought to bear by progressive forces, oppressive forces always absorbs a few from marginalized groups. A few women, a few gays, a few blacks, a few of the disabled and so on. Now, politicians should have to resign for such ignorant behaviour as spectacularly displayed by Kidero. He's going to have to get a grip and use only his head to beat the TNA @ their own dirty games. Never mind slapping people. So, lets go chronologically (being as I'm so polite) with those resignations. Sonko, Joho, and the rest of the slappers go first. I'm fair, no cheery picking. b6k said "Jakaswanga, no doubt deals will be made to try to save Kidero from himself but the damage is already done. Kdero has his work cut out for him. I see this matter totally differently. From the clips, it is Shebesh who goes to Kidero, not the other way round. The office may be public, but the space around the officer's person is his/her own - there has to be such a thing as violating one's personal space even in a public office. When a bee comes your way, you squash it if you can, even though you know that all its artillery is a relatively non-effective one-time-use stinger in its butt! Weakness cannot be an excuse to harass others in their face. People have the right to demonstrate, but their demonstrations should keep reasonable space. In this case I think Shebesh violated Kidero's space, and while such violation need not spark a slap in the face, it can, and it did. Nothing to resign for, but the ridiculous arguments reported to come from Kidero can only mean panic after this gender-biased condemnation.

AYAYAYAYA! A rap-artist should use this! this is ready-made art! The next slap - Mike Mbuvi Sonko Power to you Kidero! Senti 5 Is it correct to say you belong to the school which says: it is about time she tasted a shot of coffee, in response to Shebbesh's 'sijawai onja kofi ya mwanamme'!?Jakaswanga, Ayayayaya , you have ...........Kidero!! fill in the blanks - I agree this will make a good rap video. So the FIDA and COVAW have come out to demand for the resignation of Kidero- What bunch of Losers these women are. Lets step back and analyze the chronology of events leading to the ayayayaya moment for a minute. The following are the facts 1. Shebesh with her groupie of goons overruns the governors security and threatens the governors personal security. 2. An altercation ensures - harsh words are exchanged - apparently references are made about genitals (rofl)yet to be confirmed genitals are actually hit - difficult to confirm this from the video since if your balls are struck- men tend to go on the knee position. 3. A slap is unleashed and the ayayayaya moment is born. Just to get things off the deck - Kidero's statement to the press that he did not recall the incident was a PR disaster which was very surprising especially coming from someone who has been in the corporate world for such a long time and should have known better. A Short statement from the county executive describing the circumstances around the slap should have sufficed. Back to point 3 above- does the slap rise to the level of violence against "women"? not by a long shot. First of all, did Shebesh have a right to be at Kidero's office door? did she have an appointment? was she trespassing? did kidero feel threatened? did he try to be reasonable and accommodative to Shebesh, is it possible that shebesh could have verbally if not physically assaulted Kidero? did he use reasonable force to thwart the assault/threat? Shebesh decided to overrun cityhall and involve herself in an act of civil disobedience. Where Otish took refuge from - such people are electrocuted by hand held devices called a taser. Initial contact delivers 50,000v and drops to 1200 v once you are convulsing on the ground- and this is still not violence. Does the Kidero slap hit these thresholds? My point is, whether shebesh was a man or a woman, s/he deserved to be tased. Otherwise COVAW and FIDA are telling us that it is OK to run around town breaking the rules and harassing other people especially men and when you get slapped - we will come to your aid. Violence against women should be in the context of the law. FIDA and COVAW should send a clear message to women, especially the privileged kind like shebesh- we will stand with you if you are a victim of violence, but you are alone if you are the cause of the defensive action in an altercation. Senti 5

I don't know about rap, but I think it is a patentable ring tone. What I don't know is whether patenting rights are naturally Kidero's or Lady Shebesh's. They have a commercial opportunity here, if they can collaborate. Relatedly, I read that Shebesh is ready to forgive Kidero ... but wait a minute ... it is not the Shebesh that was slapped! The negotiations are disgusting ... ...when a woman is slapped and apologies are directed at the husband, and the husband seems ready to accept them, where does that leave the woman? Ngunia! Mali!

I don't know the circumstances that led to this but is this really conduct by our governor appropriate? Folks, since it appears the deals I alluded to in a post to Jakaswanga are already taking place since DJ CK's possee seems (to be equated with allegedly has...) to have "pulled" the original & best video (angle wise) of the slap that was the basis of my first post in this thread from YouTube, allow me to re-post a re-post of the same via a KTN feed uploaded on Youtube... Why do the powers that be always have to strike deals to sweep dirt under the table?

I don't "miss you" as you claim since I can see your posts on other threads but was simply wondering why you were so SILENT on this thread that I believe is your bread & butter. I do agree with you up to the point where you veer off into the deep end or twilight zone by seemingly condoning female violence against males ( FVAM). I for one abhor violence against women because I believe that if you have a daughter, a sister or a mother (if you have none of the other two I doubt you can be on the face of this planet without a mother) then you should be against violence against women. On the same footing, you should be against violence against men (by both men or women, although you unfortunately seem to celebrate the latter) on the very same grounds. We are one! Do you think men are "homogeneous" as a group? As men & women, we may have different sociological or cultural roles to play but you can't have the Yin without the Yang. Would a matriarchy magically end up lacking some sort of hierarchical structure? That is the human condition! "Two wrongs don't make a right", as Jakaswanga said above which for some reason appears to be a quote from me on Podp's post. As the late Rodney King said, "why can't we all just get along?"... PS: ...he was "beat down" by the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department), not by a woman though but he was a victim of something or other in this male world of ours...
