May i start my view by lecturing our celebrity wanabee journalist in kenya for dueling on innuendo , slander , back stabbing and Broadcasting news in nudity in the name of fashion for taking the nation of kenya to the brink of war.
Since 2007 elections the kenya press has gone to the dogs , they write as their whims please them not bothering to ask what will be the repercussion of my story both in print and in the visual media.
Kenya is a nation whose press is engaged in political duels mostly imagined 24/7. If they are not writing imagined stories so as to rump up newspaper sales , then they write about pornography and talk crass figuratively on fm stations for all to listen to their philandering then they call that news.
They also happen not to grasp well spoken sentences in kiswahili and english , then you ponder to ask what journalism colleges did this people go to.
Where is Tom Mshindi , maina Gaitho, Odindo Ayieko , Gitobu Imanyara , Tony Nyagwala , The real Mutegi Njau , Kwendo opanga et al. Men you must wake up and take back your profession it is being raped repeatedly by some quacks mascarading as scribes, reporters and anchors.
In kenya today we do not have real investigative story writers cum reporters that will unravel issues , scandals and murders .
No probing report to get into the gist of story , but lazy armchair pundits,googling, copy and paste. I am very tired and annoyed with the kenyan scribes as to what they are feeding the nation to is crap , trashy, innuendos and misinformation .
There has been cattle rustling in most part of the country , inter clan wars , tribalism in the government , mega scandals , poor perfoming mps and senators , but what we hear from them are political half truths 24/7.
Back to saba saba , how have we reached where we are today , that the country is at war , it is because of the press. From the truth on the ground the country is ailing and the press are willing to light the tinder box. Why change a opposition parties views wanting to dialogue into a war cry if you do not have a hidden agenda ?
The truth be told , tribalism is at its peek , corruption do not even talk about it , cronyism and nepotism , lack of food , businesses are crambling because of terror attacks and alerts . So you do not want to be criticised on this ills.
No, oppositions world over are not irritants , they will point the unpalatable , imagine if a ruling parties has leaders who are harlots , robbers, scammers and all manners of ills , do not expect a love letter to be addressed to you , but be ready to remedy it or you hit the dustbin .
So the Cord ultimatums to the govt (Jubilee) even to the neutrals it makes sense. Governments must work on timelines afterall their term is always well defined to 5 years . This country has sank so low even the nyayo error it was a bit better. So guys(Jubilee) wake up or be ready to ship out.
And the retinue battalion of Jubilee defenders whatever constitutional dispensation you are talking about was brought by SaBa Saba , between 1990 upto 2010 promulgation of the constitution it has been a process not a one moment wonder.
May i ask the following where they were during the heady days of saba saba , namely Kidero , Ruto the dp,Kenyatta , Alfred mutua, Moses kuria, waititu, kanini kega, margret wambui. et al
That was a whooping 24 pears ago.They are just pretenders and wanabees.
Did they ever heard about Masinde Muliro , Jaramogi,Oduor Ongwen, raila odinga , njeru kathangu , timothy njoya, martin shikuku , bawazir , rubia , matiba , dr oyugi anyona , orengo , wafula buke , muite , mwenje , imanyaraa, njeu gatabaki, father wa teressia , ndingi mwana nzeki , gitari , okulu, mukaru nganga,gonya wa gakonya, oki ooko ombaka, anyang nyongo etc . The list is so long that it will take ages to enumerate . This are the true heros of kenya they deserve EBS and EGH presidential awards .Their names are written in blood they suffered for this country.
