Let me pause a little from my Kenyan essay on agrarian reform.
I want to "curate" an online video show documenting land grabbing on a much larger scale than in Kenya.
The main culprits are the shady and shadowy figures of agribusiness.
My examples come from neighbouring Ethiopia, featuring an Indian tycoon (Karaturi) who also flower farms here (Naivasha)
We also find why there was an uprising in Madagascar which overthrew the Ravalomana regime in 2009.
Other examples are from Benin and Tanzania.
