Patrick Kibagendi Osero, the man alleged to be the owner of the Weston Hotel, is a former YK92 baron. Osero ran for Nyamira County MP on an ODM ticket in 2013. He lost to Wiper candidate, Ben Momanyi. Through his connections with WSR he is now the MD of the AFC.
Although there's a link with Weston & WSR since Osero is a front man for him, I'm yet to see a link between Weston and the Langata School playground across the highway. Kamale, what can you tell us about this Harban Singh other than his construction of State House Girls?
Meanwhile the mainstream media has been sidetracked & is busy chasing its own tail now that the CAK has "suddenly" withdrawn the 3 big media houses digital broadcast licenses. Charity Ngilu is also busy "reclaiming" stolen public land at multiple locations in Nairobi. Plenty of smoke & mirrors games going on...

Ouch! OO, that doesn't sound good at all. It stinks too much "Fuata Nyayo." does not mean one is entitled to say whatever, wherever. It is the man's forum, and he has every right to decide who may say what on it. That said, I think in this instance he misunderstood b6k ... although this is a fellow who has gone as far as insulting and threatening my dog. Hahaha! I can't believe I missed this earlier. I don't think I threatened your dog but I do remember apologizing for any slight caused... As for OO, I was attempting to advise caution since as we saw with the Abraham Mutai case, simply re-broadcasting ancient allegations from the mid 70's cannot insulate one from a 500km state sanctioned ride to be a guest of the state at the Muthaiga cop shop. Since December 19th the top dogs OR their minions (considering the possibility of the Jakaswanga "new sheriff pep talk to the mboys" being adhered to robotically without repercussions being fully thought out) have been extremely sensitive to discussions of scandal whether true or not. On a more direct visceral note, I, Onyango Oloo, was shot in the arm by an arrow wielding goon employed by the PCEA church to guard a grabbed plot which is actually a protected wetland along Peponi Road in Westlands, right here in Nairobi at 11:30 am on Saturday, June 12, 2014. My comrade who I accompanied on that day, Davinder Lamba was clobbered viciously on the back with an iron bar by the same assailants. Our crime? Walking on the public Peponi Road on our way for a rendezvous with local MP Timothy Wanyonyi to strategize on the issue of that very grabbed piece of wetland which I am informed the PCEA wants to transform into an isle of luxury apartments for sale and rent. Otishotish, I once lived in an estate where a group of Chinese road contractors moved into the maisonette next to mine. Logically---if one cares for Machiavellian logic---it's not such a shabby move:
If there's one thing that will always serve as a good distraction for rage that needs a new direction, it's the "wahindi". The standard charges: they are too rich, too insular, won't let good African-Asili men enjoy the sweet "things" of their little Deepkas ... Even in "ordinary" times those are enough enrage Mkenya-Asili. And now---yet again---"mhindi" has been found "stealing"!

I was planning to replenish my stock of beer and popcorn, but, upon reflection, I think we have come to the end of this one. Another week at most. Already, there's fresh action starting elsewhere. Uhuru is issuing orders, Ngilu is issuing orders, Nkaissery is issuing orders ... suddenly, numerous land-problems have been discovered all over the place----except for those lucky enough to get 99-yr leases renewed on 30K+ acres that only last year couldn't be traced to their names ... missing files, no plot numbers, etc.

For example, lets look at this from another angle: lets say they cant access the records of who owns the wetson hotel or the supposed grabber of the school grounds from say the lands ministry right ?
The wetson hotel is a finished building meaning the drawings are at the municipality approved.
Normally when an architect does his drawings, he has to send them to the municipality for approval. For approval he needs to provide his regiatration number, company, all the consultants signatures, the clients signature plus the title deed bearing the owners name/names.
Wetson is finished but no construction apart from fencing happened at the school grounds meaning the construction of the parkade was about to happen which further means the drawings with accamponying documents mentioned above were at the council awaiting approval or approved already.
All this info is available to tge public. All it takes is to go to the council with the erf number or address of the site and claim you are a consultant and walaaahhhh. You dont even need proof.
Further, whomever the client is, the architect or engineers know because that is whom they have been dealing with.
If they have been cleaning records...
will they forget the above ? Though its a bit harder...
or maybe they are also reading this... hehehehehe.

Well if this Harbans Singh is the one who used to be a director at Car & General then you're right. The odds of them being hauled off to court are slim. I'd asked Kamale to provide more information on the Singh but he has gone silent since he told me I had the wrong Singh earlier. Fast-forward to the present and we are told Patrick Osero, a known WSR lackey, is the "owner" of the Weston Hotel. According to Swazuri we know that the playground's title went from prisons to the school in the 1970's. In 1995 it then went to the Singhs or Amrits though it was backdated to 1989 when their company was incorporated. So looking at Ngilu's comment made at a very emotional time she said: "the same faces who had grabbed Lang’ata Road Primary School land had also grabbed another piece of land at the entrance of Wilson Airport". So that can't be the Singhs. If anything she is pointing at the same grabber who frustrated Muthaura on the KCAA plot as being the one who grabbed the playground. CONCLUSION: The plots were likely grabbed by WSR as per conventional wisdom and files within files were created with the Weston corporate veil showing ownership removed from him (but safely bestowed on a buddy) while the playground one went back in time showing Asian ownership of the coveted land while the real owner stays hidden in the shadows. I presume all the other frantic activity we are seeing at Westgate is a smokescreen to give the semblance of a general recall of grabbed public land when the target is really Langata only. It seems to me OO sent this warning  ...to the wrong party as something big is cooking... |

Folks today from NTV's 7PM news bulletin we learn that Airport View Housing Limited which was registered on August 10, 1989 with LR 1870/IX/187, Jasmine Centre, Waiyaki Way Nairobi listed as its registered offices is not currently domiciled at that building. In addition to that, the building only became known as the Jasmine Centre in 2006 when it was converted to an office complex.

It was revealed only recently that the school had been allocated the land in 1972. How could the "owners" be expected to produce documents with the "right" dates before they knew that? The ball is now in the court of those---Kidero, Swazuri, Ngilu, etc---who claim the "owners" have been working with forged documents. In fact, I think they should sue those people for being reckless with such slurs. But it does get more interesting: I can't parse most of that, but here's a question: who "granted" this land to Airport View Housing and on what basis? |

He barks; get told " yes, we told you to bark; but not so loud, boy!"; he "clarifies" and quietly slinks away. Heroic General as Nutless Wonder. As for the kids, how's that for a real education? Step into the classroom for lessons in reading and writing; step into the playground for lessons on how the country really works. Two lessons for the price of one. Reality vs. Vision 3020. Ultimately, Kenya is an African country, and those who run in do not seem to mind that in the end things might have to be settled in the "Standard African Way". To his credit, even as toy-soldier, he knows what a soldier is supposed to do: take higher orders and bark out lower orders. His problem, however, is what we may call a "directional" one: he might be barking from the right orifice, but he is having them shoved in at the rear, low-end orifice; and that reversal of direction means that no digestion takes place. He barks; get told " yes, we told you to bark; but not so loud, boy!"; he "clarifies" and quietly slinks away. Heroic General as Nutless Wonder. So you get here: Now, Nkaissery, chief of police and new hot sheriff, let us find out which version of history he ascribes to?! Willing buyer willing seller? that is after the original sin, clearance, which herded the Maasai to arid reserves, insisting that is the way it is and they should stay there like Kimunya stated? --so the new sheriff will send police to enforce the court ruling, protect the new owners and club down any charging moran (intent on correcting historical injustices.) OR Is the retired major General susceptible to this alternative interpretation within Maasai nationalism, which is gaining tract and fuelling these clashes, an interpretation of a fuming historical grievance which bemoans the original sin, the colonial clearance and post-colonial continuation of the crime which confined the Maasai to the arid reserves, in which case the Maasai have a natural right to reclaim lost property! -court ruling or no (colonial  ?) court ruling! While no answers are forthcoming from the political class, a class itself no less than yester/white settlers deeply mired in land grabbing, this being such a delicate issue, who can blame the people for taking matters into their own hands? And when the people take matters into their hands, that is a crumbling state. For the people recognise the LEGAL ORDER, the judiciary, is compromised and stacked against them. Three deaths for now at the Kidong' ranch at Mai Mahiu, and we will count. Land is never a cold case. Ask any Singh, black or white. And check the burnt-out remains of Kiambaa church, somewhere in Nandiland. Wounds that never healed in the hearts of a people. They fester, generations long. General Nkaissery will know what I am talking about. He is a Maasai, and he heard Amos Kimunya too. It began -O my God!- last year! ( I withdraw the concept historical injustice!
