My friend, what is this!? incitement! Yours is what may be called A Poor Attitude, and it shows that you don't understand what The President is up to. He is simply promoting devolution, in the very fundamental sense of putting the people in charge. He has already directed them to take responsibility for their own security. Now, it's land. Next .... It makes a great deal of sense, given that the "responsible government bodies" are devoted to doing bugger-all very busy. Forget the endless " serikali saidia" whining and do for yourself. That is the message. And the serikali is there for ... ? That one I leave to The Big Vision-3020 Brains.
Another fine example of Devolution at work: people are realizing that you don't have to be in Nairobi in order to eat your share of The Great Country. Unless, of course, you have to go to Nairobi ... This one amused me:
`KISUMU Deputy Governor Ruth Odinga has opposed a four-day retreat for 80 county officials to Nairobi. Sources at the county government said the trip, scheduled to begin today, will cost the county more than Sh5 million in transport and allowances.
“It is immoral to spend more than Sh5 million for a bonding trip by air to Nairobi yet as I speak water has been disconnected at the county hospital and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Referral Hospital lacks drugs due to inadequate funds.” '
- See more at: www.the-star.co.ke/news/ruth-odinga-opposes-kisumu-staff-sh5m-nairobi-trip#sthash.cF5LeLDp.dpuf
The lady seems to have this funny idea that Important County Officials should pay their own good money for vacation and shopping trips to Nairobi. Oh, that reminds me of an interesting exchange on the latter hospital:

I have noted your link to ODM. See my earlier remarks on Baba vs. Babu.
So folks have to spend Shs 5m of taxpayer's money to go and love each other in Nairobi! I did not know that love was that expensive! And why in Nairobi and not in Kisumu?

The question on every Kenyans mind should be who's after Ruto’s scalp? The man already has a lot on his plate at The Hague but it seems someone still deems it fit to go for his jugular right here in the green city in the sun. So the question is, why now? The who, that is the one I was answering above with: Daniel Arap Moi.Why Now? --there is still some time to the next elections. Test the waters how strong the guy really is, and force young would-be allies to ponder if all these corruption cases can glide off the ;)Singh's back, or, whether they be a sinker. 1. Kenya will continue to be run by the corrupt, practising impunity in business as usual. 2. Out there in the future lurks other correctional forces, and it would be prudent to hedge bets. place a bet, O young Turks of our land! It appears that Kamale has given up the ghost of spinning selling the charade that Osero owns the Weston. Knowing that WSR owns the Easton residential complex in Eastlands (also allegedly built on a grabbed plot) & is purported to own the now infamous Weston Hotel, one can only imagine that if there were a plot in northern & southern Nairobi respectively we'd have a Northton Heights & Southton Villas or "developments" of the likes in the green city in the sun Jakaswanga, you are a brave soul to wade into the rumored proxy war against WSR led by allegedly by Arap Moi. From the man who gave us "the tyranny of numbers" mantra we read: "@mutahi Ngunyi, tweeted : Someone is SETTING Ruto Up. It is NEITHER Uhuru, NOR Raila. Although a DANGEROUS NOVICE, Keter will lead us to the person. Read the PATTERNS" So Keter has become the bread crumbs that will lead us like Hansel & Gretel to the source? So mote it be... Whoever may be behind the proxy war that is outing WSR in shady land deals across the country, when one considers the age old who dunnit consideration of motive, qui bono, then Arap Moi is as good a guess as any. Indeed conventional wisdom has it, first in whispers, & now in a cacophony of murmurs that in a former RVP sans WSR then a 2017 ticket of Uhuru Kenyatta & Gideon Moi vs whomever the CORD tripartite eventually serves as the "reform" candidates is not far from being realized. Where is Mwalimumkuu, aka Nyumba Kubwa, to fill in the dots for us & confirm if indeed a Moi scion rising like a phoenix from the ashes is on the cards in RVP (ie will the people stomach such a scenario). Skullduggery & smoke & mirrors. Just another day in KE politricks... When all's said and done, whether one considers the lineup of the bigwigs in JAP or CORD, the old grandmaster, Daniel Arap Moi, was indeed right when he said that KANU would lead us for 100 years. Uhuru was project KANU 2002 & WSR is a former Secretary General. If it goes to our "opposition" in CORD, Raila (Secretary General KANU), Musyoka (VP KANU), Wetangula (Foreign Minister KANU). When you think about it with an open mind KANU is both in power and in opposition. Gideon Moi will just be "another one from Samcon" as it were

Instead the man hibernates like ODM's phil, emerging only occasionally like a shy owl on a night prowl! Look now how the former teacher leaves us at the mercy of... as he himself once put it 'kaka mbweha tales', spun by unpolished 8-4-4 journalists 'railing and hailing' [as Man Otish would say] in the local dailies! NB: Raila is ready to testify on behalf of Ruto! the plot thickens! And what did i catch Mudavadi saying? --where is phil to fill us in?

With the current jokes on a certain Aviation school and confirmation that several "journalists" of the 8-4-4=0 education system, the Raila testimony to ICC on behalf of Ruto is perhaps the most laughable! I run and re-run all those clips showing Raila making this important declaration....and in all of them Jakom has only claimed that he will defend ODM should be called to testify. Nowhere does he mention Ruto! But that is not important for these journos for the gullible news hogging Kenyan needs to be fed on this rubbish to enhance debate in the bar!!

Jakaswanga, Mwalimumkuu is AWOL so it's hard to say whether the Keter meltdown has added to his radio silence. But Kamale does make a valid observation that "the mysterious one" was only going to defend the orange party & not a mere mortal. Luckily perusing through the Jukwaa archives you can find what Mwalimumkuu may say even today: We have had these predictions for a while now my friend, they all come to nothing. Take it from me, William Ruto is in safe hands. As he himself has said over and over again, he knows where he's come from and where he's headed to. William Ruto unlike the Mudavadis, the Kalonzos and to some extend the Railas, knows far too well, that in politics one cannot cede their own destiny to someone else. Ruto never waits for anyone to plan for him his political agenda, and even if you tried, he wont take it. So to my friends who seem to 'feel' for Ruto every so often, mind your own business, Ruto is doing just fine and on course for the big prize. ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ Thus spake Zarathustra, so we can leave it at that until Bensouda sings or Mutunga speaks.

Only now is she changing the story! would, she had told the truth as she knew it from the beginning! Uhuru Kenyatta still personally getting involved in land deals! Woi! this cabinet! It was land emotions which Ruto rode to power, and it is the greed for it which will burry his adminstration and career with it!
