The Jubilee govt of kenya has no concrete security strategy to counter modern and sophisticated run away security threats.
It's manual is a 60 something year model , which cannot work they are just to muddled and confused and above all lethargic .
So having more boots and guns on the ground cannot contain crime if we do not have any preemptive and deterrent measures on the ground .
It was a shame to marshal hundreds of police and military to contain only 4 terrorist and then loose 148 students in Garissa mayhem. This in a typical military or assault lingo is a serious security operation flop.
So when a President emotionally order that 10000 recruits report immediately to college knowing to well that they were corruptly recruited then , it sums up that the presidency is clueless on security issues and has some of the worst security advisers in this side of the continent that should have shipped out the moment garissa fiasco had ended.
So to contain this lacklustre approach , we do not need more guns but security brains that are focused and dedicated to the job .
So when we talk of 2.8 billion lost in office of the president in the name of security docket you are let aghast why this keeps on happening day in day out .
Why are kenya police walking arround without body armour, no standby swat teams in regional offices , no helicopter, no armoured vehicles , no properly trained spies to infiltrated crime groups, police staying in tin shacks , then you wake up and say we need more guns and boots on the ground then your head needs to be examined.
Ridiculously enough, a internal and defence secretaries and deputy president saying they want to build 650km wall separating kenya and somalia then we can say Jubilee has gone bonkers.
The snake is in the house so do not run away from it . That is what jubilee is doing scapegoating day in day out.
