Subject:land. 1 the governors, land and the proposed mines bills 2015. The community land bill as proposed by the Jubilee regime is the major bone of contentention. Though of course there is more. Like 1. Physical planning bill 2015. 2. Omnibus land amendment bill 2015. The thrust or import of these bills are National Land Commission is redundant. The cabinet secretary becomes the Lord of the Lands. Natural resources will be under the control of the central state in Nairobi. And the Pope of mines will be the political appointee, cabinet secretary. An oil king then, thinking of Turkana. More at the source. So what do I think to know? Continued. MEDIA RELEASE

I will try several takes.
1.A humorous take. 2. An acid, chilling take. 3. A Ruthless, murderous take.
Land O Land! Here goes Kenya again in operation farce! --those bills
The council of governors are not as positive as Sir William Singh, on the proposed land bills. On the contrary, the council of governors under Peter Munyua of Meru as chair, has put the public on notice on the most trenchant of political issues, land.
Land you know that opaque stuff over which, through the centuries, much blood has been and shall continue to be shed. Yes, that silly stuff whose grievances birthed not only Mau Mau, but, decades later, led to the wholesale expulsion of half a million Gikuyu 'settlers' from the Rift. That will say PEV, with its mayhem of ethnic cleansing and human flesh-roasting, is my idea of a humorous take, since history has darker more gruesome amusements than whatever Kenya boasts.

Some interesting opinions. There is cause to worry more: LAND! That achilles heel of our land! Is the NLC --the national land commission, dead? On the side of corruption, the Ethics and anti corruption commission EACC, too is dead. On the Judiciary, last time I checked the JSC looked a lame duck. And on the election side, chicken has been the proven meal. With that I think I hint at the pattern which no longer can be denied. I will try several takes. 1.A humorous take. 2.
