David Maraga and his cabal of 4 confused judges are still writing their judgement which will be used to judge his excellence as a CJ or will bring him down as an incompetent that tried a Pontius Pilate on Kenya as a way of redeeming his court to the Pharisee who had thrown the challenge after the march to canaan was halted. But they did decree that there will be an election in 60 days and immediately thereafter, the other confused looking lawyer and former ODM adherent has decided that the fresh election will be held on 17th Octobe and that only 2 candidates will be in the ballot quoting the equally discredited ruling of the earstud Mutunga court of 2013.In no time, Uhuru has addressed 16 rallies and held 2 press conferences whilst his opponent has addressed 8 press conferences and addressed 2 rallies.
So why is Raila behaving as if the elections are next year and not campaigning? Does he want to win on 17th October? That question points out at the confusion of Maraga and the Raila attitude that votes in a ballot box do not matter it is everything else around the electoral process.
I am convinced that Raila does not want an election on 17th and is working off his ass to ensure this.His attacks on IEBC and the tantrums he is throwing only point at a strategy of disrupting the whole process to ensure an election he is bound to lose will not happen. In fact one ODM wag told me that their plan is no election on 17th, Justin Muturi becomes acting president and a negotiated govt can be in place aka nusu mkate!But this strategy seems premised on someone dying and I do not see any death before 17th!
I think whoever is pointing Raila towards this direction is a fool and Raila will be an idiot to follow this through - only problem is that he never fails to disappoint!!
