Kenya does not have tamperproof passports and even your renewed book can be duplicated in downtown Nairobi by the notorious Nigerians in a matter of minutes. If you knew how advanced biometric technology has become you wouldnt be making such statements. For instance, does you current passport have iris identification technology? Yours is a simple microchip based passport which can easily be manipulated by anyone with the right equipment. Gotta run, will come back for you later. Next time up you want to bamboozle people with stuff and techno-bubble, make sure you know what you are talking about. I would not talk about IRIS technoilogy the way you do as you come out rather dumb. Just how do you have IRIS technology on your passport? Do you have an idea how this works? I can at least volunteer this for you as I am registered for IRIS with UK Border Agency and this expires in February 2011 having been renewed annually for the last 3 years. What IRIS does is make your entry say into the UK without the need for a passport. The IRIS equipment is intended to store biometric information of your retina and this is matched every time you pass throught he IRIS machine at the border entry. As you can see, it replaces the Passport rather than having it embedded on the passport. What would be embeded in a biometric passport is a chip that holds the retina information as well as facial and fingerprint information. So go get yourself a new passport and see what is meant by tamper-proof. Just stop your ujuaji!

Some interesting statistics on GM Kenya Limited:
27% growth in sales in 2010
Total Units sold rose from 2,057 in 2009 to 2,680 in domestic sales. Exports rose from 322 untis to 377 units. This included pick ups, mid-size trucks (used for matatus and carrying goods) and buses.
Now is this the GM that wants to take over the world of the Matatu industry? Me doubts it. Let us find another red herring.

Kamale, did you not tried to spin that Muthaura stopped a certain contract to 'turn off the taps' for Gerald Otieno Kajwang? I corrected your false impression that it is Kajwang responsible for security printing, and that it is OP that handles these matters. I also went further and informed you how ODM actually has better ideas in improving the GP and make IDs, passport, and other government issued documents as part of the e-government project done locally by Kenyans. You rubbished all this information and unfortunately was unable to give any evidence to support your half baked innuendoes that you got from you immigraton clerk buddy. Do you remember the chaos that there was when Kenyans rushed to the Register of Persons offices last year to get birth certificates? This is precisely part of the problems this GP proposal aims to avoid. It is just as well that I cannot publish what is classified information in Jukwaa but I have much more information about these matters than you can imagine. I am certain KACC has this information too. KACC's politically inspired war against grand corruption is surely going to fail so long as they interprete these goings on in government they way I see you doing.

I shall continue to dismantle your ujuaji! I notice that you do not even acknowledge that you were wrong in IRIS, but not to worry, I shall work on what you now briung forth! PhilI did not spin the theory it was all out there for us to see. Kajwang comes out whining that Muthaura was refusing to sign the temporary extension for printing of ID cards hence he could not issue ID cards and for some convenient reason he threw in Work Permits! You even acknowledge that he is being investigated for illegal issuance of work permits so if you cannot see the connection, I am not surprised at how much passes you! So what are these ideas that ODM has about " these things"? You keep harping on the e-government project and how it is supposed to harmonise the printing of security documents. Perhaps if you went to their site www.e-government.go.ke you can highlight how this is supposed to be one of the functions of the e-government directorate. FYI, all the project will do will be to enable bring the application process online but the printing of security documents will continue to be done elsewhere and you can be certain that the GP is certainly not one of the entities expected to do this as that would go beyond the mandate of the printer. If you seriously knew what you were talking about, you would have know about the proposal for the government to buy out part of the De La rue shareholding to localise security printing. Of course we all know about the chaos on birth certificates but we also know why there was that chaos. This was following the edict of the KNEC that birth certificates will be requried as evidence of a candidate to take the national examinations and this was required prior to registration for the examination. Stop looking for straws to hang on! You cannot hide under classified information as you are not even entitled to that information and in any case, it is in the public domain! I am certain KACC has this information too. KACC's politically inspired war against grand corruption is surely going to fail so long as they interprete these goings on in government they way I see you doing. Oh now you are a true judge of the capabilities of KACC and its political leanings!!!

Kamale,
Remember this started with some allegations about the Immigration Minister, right?
I have already given you much more info than I should have. The project in question is being controlled from the OP. I cannot publish classified information or business secrets on this board. Time is running out, but there are those who need this to build a 2012 war-chest, while others need it as a retirement package.
You may think you have dismantled my ujuaji but I stand by what I said earlier, at least I prove to you that Immigration is not involved in printing of passports or ID cards. GP is where the tug of war is.
If for anything else, I concede that on this YOU HAVE WON, hands down.
