b6k, At the same link, I am reading a host of other women, including a writer Tristane Banon, who have nearly similar incidences with DSK. So if this Guinea girl was a ho and a pro in a sense, it looks like DSK too, is not your priestly gentleman. I have not yet heard him or his lawyer explain his 'stain' on the girls dress! Was it earn as you perform [commercial] or lets have fun when we can, adventure. With minds changed later. It is the nature of this sex which took place which is in contention.
I find the speculation about a french intelligence set-up weird. -------- Ach, that storm you thought I kicked up, someone neatly dealt with it in the bud. Did she say she swallowed? DSK's lawyer asked the DA...

Fellows,
Going by the latest developments regading DSK case and the repeated claim from unconfirmed quaters that hands are moving in the dark to try to influence the way things go, i can reveal today that rather than serve the purpose his detructors would have hoped to achieve. The net effect is that this is going to be the foundation on which Mr.DSK will launch his presidential career, the allegations, charges of assault against the guinea girl if could have been allowed to stand could have been the staw that broke the carmels back (DSK) but after the aquital and second attempt by the same people to draw another charge this is likely to backfire rather badlyassuming the same hands are not manupulating the wheels of justice. So whoever might have invented that scheme to derail DSK's presidental ambition should stand warned to dig deep. otherwise, Sarcozy whether involved or not is permitting the perception of a trumped up charges to stick and that will really hurt his presidential ambitions.

Mzalendo, I have a gut feeling you may be right. The criminal charges in the US will be dropped within 2 weeks. www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/dominique-strauss-kahn/8618570/Dominique-Strauss-Kahn-charges-almost-certain-to-be-dropped-within-weeks.htmlFrom there DSK will face the other allegations he has called slanderous & imaginary in a French court. DSK being charged in a French court is as likely as Ruto being charged for corruption in a Kenyan court. It just won't happen. His wife is still standing by his side & smiling all the time. No hint of a Clintonesque slap & cold war between the two. DSK may very well rise from the ashes & attempt to contest the elections. Should he pursue that, however, I would recommend he attends some sexual therapy sessions.

b6k, This thread seems to be dying without a mention of the original question: whether DSK's demise at the IMF is relevant to Kenya?
I do not think so. His being a member of the PS [Party Socialiste] of France does not set him apart enough [from say Wolfowitz] to encompass a different ideological direction. At the same time, this super-tanker of a bank, is immune to the peripheral tickles on her rudder --more like an overused ho would have next to deadened senses in some areas.
2. Recognise the speed with which Lagarde has replaced him. The clue here is the financial predicament of France as a country [not of the Sarkozy regime], and the general malaise in Europe, prompted by the drowning southern countries, which threaten to sink the euro along with them. The overriding euro agenda, coupled with a european at the helm of the IMF, makes the difference the same for Kenya, as far as changes take place at the top of that organisation.
Historically too, remember that when Francois Mitterrand of PS was president of the republic, his approach to Africa was more of the same to the antic [gaullist] regimes of Valery Giscard d'Estaing and Pompidou! The worst cases of misrule in Afrika were okay so long as they obeyed France: Bokassa, Mobutu, Nguesso, Boigny, Habyarmana. Not to mention the assasination of one the most progressive dynamos to have come out of Franco Africa, Tomero Sankara. 3. I think China has now taken over as the chief investor in the greatest infrastuructural projects in Africa. And has more ready cash reserves to risk in areas like Kenya. So the IMF nolonger has the god's powers it once had, like when it rammed down SAP to disrupt developing economies and re-fashion them for monopoly capital take-overs.
So I shrugg my shoulders whether it is Sarkozy-sucker Lagarde or Diallo-rapist DSK who handles the tiller of IMF!

One thing to keep in mind is the Bretton Woods system, of which the IMF is but a branch, was created in post-war USA to rebuild Europe in her own image. It has served them well all these years & will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. The current cozying up to China & even Iran is a temporary aberration. You have a spent clique of local oligarchs trying as hard as they can to stay alive. If you watch closely, you will note the heat has been steadily rising against this crop of our leadership since the days vomiting on shoes was in vogue. Murungaru dared to nix Land Rover & bring in Land Cruisers to replace them. Pray tell, where is he now? Where did Githongo seek asylum after he almost single-handedly brought down Kibaki's regime. Where are our powerbrokers of yester-year, Okemo & Gichuru, looking forward to spending their retirement? Where are the O-6 headed for that matter? Try as you may, as far as empires go, there can only be one. China is riding high on a wave at the moment as the US's factory, but who created that wave. In the 80's & early 90's Japan was poised to overtake the US economy before the rug was pulled from under them. Today they are number 3 & back-peddling. Ex USAF pilot & trainer of KE airforce, Scott Gration, is here today for a reason. RAO also made his bid for presidency while on US soil for a reason. Empire will not be denied that which belongs to it.

Enali, following new developments, I for one is waiting to see how the proverbial egg refered to by RR, and which now has emphatically turned real on the face of the New York Times, will be wiped off. The NYT and a host of other NY papers have been misrepresenting facts, and they have been caught out. Will they run front-page apologies? 1. Diallo Nafissatou in the famous telephone conversation with an inmate did not discuss money. Neither did she say she knows what she is doing and don't worry. NYT did not verify the source, neither did they have a transcript. They just published fiction as fact. [Granted: facts never did sell newspapers!] 2. A series of strategic leaks to the press is forcing Cyrus Vance to face the possibility that his office, in these leaks, was colluding with the defence in a smear campaign against the victim. Why did they not immidiately urge caution, that they did not yet have a definative copy of the translation? Okay, Thompson, the lawyer of Diallo, also has a lot of egg on his face here. He did not bother to demand not only the recording, but also an independent translator! 3. New York investigators, private and police, have failed to find proof of Diallo being a prostitute on the sidelines! So her virtue is intact int hat sense. Okay, she lied to achieve legal status in the US, but that appears to be normal. Over 90% of illegal immigrants are thought to sex-up their CVs for papers in the US. 4. Diallo's statement on what went on from the moment she entered that suite, to the moment she reported it officially, is consistent, and the evidence from her punch-card is corroborative. But the psychological explanations as to why after such a distasteful encounter she did not become hysterical and jump to her death, is up for grabs. So the well orchestrated attempt by top-class PR-buros on both sides of the atlantic to derail the case by destroying the credibility, dignity and anything of Diallo, has hit a hitilafu called the truth. In the battle for credibility between DSK and DN, it is increasingly looking like a no walk-over for the millionare would-be president of the rotting fifth republic. 5. In the first encounter with the police when they read him his ... miranda, he denied there had been a sexual encounter. When the DNA was found, his lawyers adviced him to change to consential. For some reason he could not do a Clinton by denyig oral sex is sex. [Maybe the NYPD would have locked him in with a few sturdy blacks, and given them a wink. If you get the code!] b6k, sorry I am neither discussing bretton woods nor China's pretences at top-dog status! The emergence of Diallo from hiding hijacked me back to the gory details, or facts of the case.

tnk, here it is from a different source:
Russia Says IMF Chief Jailed For Discovering All US Gold Is Gone May 31, 2011 By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers
A new report prepared for Prime Minister Putin by the Federal Security Service (FSB) says that former International Monetary Fund (IMF) Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn [photo with Putin top left] was charged and jailed in the US for sex crimes on May 14th after his discovery that all of the gold held in the United States Bullion Depository located at Fort Knox [photo 2nd left] was ‘missing and/or unaccounted’ for.
According to this FSB secret report, Strauss-Kahn had become “increasingly concerned” earlier this month after the United States began “stalling” its pledged delivery to the IMF of 191.3 tons of gold agreed to under the Second Amendment of the Articles of Agreement signed by the Executive Board in April 1978 that were to be sold to fund what are called Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) as an alternative to what are called reserve currencies.
This FSB report further states that upon Strauss-Kahn raising his concerns with American government officials close to President Obama he was ‘contacted’ by ‘rogue elements’ within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) who provided him ‘firm evidence’ that all of the gold reported to be held by the US ‘was gone’.
Upon Strauss-Kahn receiving the CIA evidence, this report continues, he made immediate arrangements to leave the US for Paris, but when contacted by agents working for France’s General Directorate for External Security (DGSE) that American authorities were seeking his capture he fled to New York City’s JFK airport following these agents directive not to take his cell-phone because US police could track his exact location.
Once Strauss-Kahn was safely boarded on an Air France flight to Paris, however, this FSB report says he made a ‘fatal mistake’ by calling the hotel from a phone on the plane and asking them to forwarded the cell-phone he had been told to leave behind to his French residence, after which US agents were able to track and apprehend him.
Within the past fortnight, this report continues, Strauss-Kahn reached out to his close friend and top Egyptian banker Mahmoud Abdel Salam Omar to retrieve from the US the evidence given to him by the CIA. Omar, however, and exactly like Strauss-Kahn before him, was charged yesterday by the US with a sex crime against a luxury hotel maid, a charge the FSB labels as ‘beyond belief’ due to Omar being 74-years-old and a devout Muslim.
In an astounding move puzzling many in Moscow, Putin after reading this secret FSB report today ordered posted to the Kremlin’s official website a defense of Strauss-Khan becoming the first world leader to state that the former IMF chief was a victim of a US conspiracy. Putin further stated, “It’s hard for me to evaluate the hidden political motives but I cannot believe that it looks the way it was initially introduced. It doesn’t sit right in my head.”
Interesting to note about all of these events is that one of the United States top Congressman, and 2012 Presidential candidate, Ron Paul [photo bottom left] has long stated his belief that the US government has lied about its gold reserves held at Fort Knox. So concerned had Congressman Paul become about the US government and the Federal Reserve hiding the truth about American gold reserves he put forward a bill in late 2010 to force an audit of them, but which was subsequently defeated by Obama regime forces.
When directly asked by reporters if he believed there was no gold in Fort Knox or the Federal Reserve, Congressman Paul gave the incredible reply, “I think it is a possibility.”
Also interesting to note is that barely 3 days after the arrest of Strauss-Kahn, Congressman Paul made a new call for the US to sell its gold reserves by stating, “Given the high price it is now, and the tremendous debt problem we now have, by all means, sell at the peak.”
Bizarre reports emanating from the US for years, however, suggest there is no gold to sell, and as we can read as posted in 2009 on the ViewZone.Com news site:
“In October of 2009 the Chinese received a shipment of gold bars. Gold is regularly exchanges between countries to pay debts and to settle the so-called balance of trade. Most gold is exchanged and stored in vaults under the supervision of a special organization based in London, the London Bullion Market Association (or LBMA). When the shipment was received, the Chinese government asked that special tests be performed to guarantee the purity and weight of the gold bars. In this test, four small holed are drilled into the gold bars and the metal is then analyzed.
Officials were shocked to learn that the bars were fake. They contained cores of tungsten with only a outer coating of real gold. What's more, these gold bars, containing serial numbers for tracking, originated in the US and had been stored in Fort Knox for years. There were reportedly between 5,600 to 5,700 bars, weighing 400 oz. each, in the shipment!”
To the final fate of Strauss-Kahn it is not in our knowing, but new reports coming from the United States show his determination not to go down without a fight as he has hired what is described as a ‘crack team’ of former CIA spies, private investigators and media advisers to defend him.
To the practical effects on the global economy should it be proved that the US, indeed, has been lying about its gold reserves, Russia’s Central Bank yesterday ordered the interest rate raised from 0.25 to 3.5 percent and Putin ordered the export ban on wheat and grain crops lifted by July 1st in a move designed to fill the Motherlands coffers with money that normally would have flowed to the US.
The American peoples ability to know the truth of these things, and as always, has been shouted out by their propaganda media organs leaving them in danger of not being prepared for the horrific economic collapse of their nation now believed will much sooner than later.

There's little doubt DSK is a pig. One report had it that even on the plane just moments before his arrest he verbally admired an air hostess's posterier. The guy just could never turn it off... b6k,The following may or may not vindicate your preposition. DSK was for many years, allegedly, one of the chief characters involved in the french version of Bunga-Bunga orgies a la Silvio Berlusconi's! The French police are currently investigating his role in the acquisition of prostitutes form all corners of the earth. French police Arrest DSK on prostitution ringProstitution is not exactly illegal, but the procurement of women, some of them likely to be under-aged, is. And given many prostitutes are coerced, therefore in a form of slavery, it is a delicate legal charge if it comes to court! PS: I have given the guardian link which is high-brow! you can imagine what the tabloids are saying! I would need Oloos or Kathure's permission to give an example! THE LIFE AND TIMES OF A FRENCH HIGH CLASS SEXUAL PREDATOR, A FIFTH REPUBLIC DRACULA. February 10 2015: In a small French town called Lille, a sordid drama unfolded in a dingy courtroom. Former presidential hopeful and IMF chief, popularly known as DSK, faced off against two call girls. Investigations into pimping activities (which is criminalised) have been on-going from 2012 when the Belgian French Escort king, Dominique Alderweireld, was released from a Belgian prison for lack of conclusive evidence that he was a human trafficker, and pimp! But some of his ''his girls'' had of course repeatedly entertained DSK. Not that he knew of it of course. (Prostitution not being illegal, there are legal constructions which Don Pimps can use to run their girls right within the law. The girl swears she is a freelancer. ''You do not do this when you have other options, or choices!'' one of the escort girls told the Judge when she was asked how it had come to this. ''You can shower fifteen times, you can shower twenty times. The feeling of being dirty sticks, unable to be washed away!'' Jade told the Presiding Judge, Bernard Lemaire. The pimp who had procured some of the girls, René Kojfer, whose official job was Public relations for the Carlton Hotel in Paris, had forgotten the technical term for ''procurement of females for paid sex!'' ''Pimp!? The judge prodded his memory with a raised eyebrow. 'Oh yes! Now that you say it, I remember. Pimping!'' The women who had been at the mercy of DSK's vampire-like sexuality looked traumatised. And they told tales of horror, like young beautiful girls barely 20, fed drink to total drunkenness, then used in every fashion by groups of middle-aged men in tag teams, bonding in the wholesale degradation of a female. The courage mastered by these women who appeared in court to face their erstwhile tormenter was a Herculean feat. Most call girls who are coerced to cater to the diseased sexuality of the rotting elite, end up mental wrecks beyond repair. Battered, their egos shattered, their self-respect broken, their dignity in tatters, they spend their waking moments weeping in foetal positions and only straighten up after a shot of hard-drugs that numbs their consciousness, suspends their comprehension. But these ones, eight of them of whom Mounia and Jade took the stand to field questions from the presiding Judge, found the inner strength to share their shame with the world, tell their horrid tale of exploitation, their psychologically diminishing ordeal courtesy of systematic sexual degradation. Overcoming all these, they were ''standing tall'' in the hope for justice. But most important I think, the story is poverty and the desperation it drives women to. These women first went into prostitution to pay bills. Jade, to feed her kids. It was a poverty trap. No Romanticism. www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/stripped-bare-dominique-strausskahn-forced-to-reveal-his-sexual-proclivities-10037081.html But if they looked forlorn, facing high odds -(the sex was consensual, No?), sad and life-beaten even if determined, their antagonist DSK, fresh from earning millions in international consultancy, was armed with a top lawyer, and, no doubt, the majestic pose he tried to strike was carefully studied and instructed by an ace Public Relations bureau.NB: Let us see how such ''connected bureaus'' worked on the Guinea woman, Nafassitou Diallo.Enali, following new developments, I for one is waiting to see how the proverbial egg refered to by RR, and which now has emphatically turned real on the face of the New York Times, will be wiped off.
