Dandora ODM Rally yesterday at the Mugabe Were Memorial Stadium was well attended. To call it mammoth would be an understatement. It was a sea of humanity! Points of note: - ODM will introduce Universal Medical Insurance Scheme and a Social Safety net scheme for the elderly and poor people
- (ODM) will guarantee Kenyans a double digit economic growth annually
Amongst others, including several defections into ODM and an assurance from Bishop Margaret Wanjiru that she was in ODM to stay!! More info and video here orange-democratic.blogspot.com/2012/10/pm-raila-odinga-promises-kenyans-double.html

I really don't like it when the so called leaders exploit slum dwellers to prove their political might when things are going pear shaped for them. Places like Dandora and Kibera have some very high levels or poverty and people there are most desperate. When politicians roll in these slums and prey on these people, most who may have slept hungry, what exactly do they hope to accomplish yet these people have been lied on for decades? My bet is that the leaders will keep looking at their Sh 3M Rolex watches hoping time will fly as fast as possible due to the stench coming out of the flying toilets, then they will ride out of these slums in their sh 10m fuel guzzlers and head for a snobbish bash in Serena where they will hatch more plans to increase their perks from our taxes. Destiny, It's true that the living standards of majority of Kenyans is below decent standards due to poor leadership but to suggest that politicians shouldn't be having rallies in areas such as dandora is quite insane.
