THE MERCENARY GENERAL'S BLUFF IS CALLED: did he really move on?
But this first weekend of March 2017
Could it be, Mr. Namwamba, that you had to retain your ODM membership for the practical reason, that on resignation from the party, you would automatically have resigned from your parliamentary seat too!?
This is the most rational explanation. If it is, it immediately disqualifies you from being Raila Odinga's equal in one very important sense. When he resigned from the party which had sponsored him to parliament, Agwambo also resigned from parliament and there was subsequently a by-election.
That is a detail which establishes a difference in character, other forge in personality. One has to give the devil his dues too.
As far as you are concerned, I think your current problems with the Labour Party of Kenya, arise from your own double-play. Check the following report.
what is this for God's sake!? You are a member of two parties at the same time!? --wonder boy keeping his options open!?
There are things a General does not do. Raila is merely a captain in rank yet a prime mover of events, but it would appear young Generals are not of the stuff that verify that rank. Unless yours was merely a nickname.
Anyway: Why didn't you settle this out of court/tribunal? Why would ODM tolerate you? You quit ODM long ago, in your own words, you are the leader of another party, LPK, and you are supporting Jubilee against Mudavadi and another Mulembe cuckold in NASA. (Last time you apologised to Mudavadi for abandoning him, and the cock has not crowed twice before you denied him again! You sure still have to find your mind, let alone voice Ababu!)
But fair is to say you are not the only one. Thinking of Prince Gideon Moi Arap Daniel Arap Moi. He can neither speak intelligible Kalenjin nor Kiswahili nor English, goes the comical line. Baby Moi.
Did you read the joke? Mama Ngina went to visit Arap Moi. They discussed grand children and the joys of parenthood, retirement and a good old age. Apparently they discussed dynastic unions and quid-pro=quos in detail, much as they would deny it. But unlike Gideon Moi who is still a puppy to fold tail and do as the master bids, Uhuru is of course the bull of the kraal, with all mares in the homestead farting hot and eager to be his for the taking. This means his mother in the role of matriarch in chief can not always speak for him. He had to go and accent the proposed MOU in person.
Two days later the issue was put to rest. KANU will support Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election (but, YAWA URU, not Ruto for VP!). In exchange KANU will have cabinet seats, field un-opposed candidates in selected seats! The Kenyattas and the Mois did not consult William Ruto. Why not!?
Now, you Ababu Namwamba. You are (may be) head of the Labour Party, or may be still a member of ODM, playing within team NASA, but are committed and pledged to support Jubilee --both Ruto and Uhuru I presume!
O God! It is only logical that, if you are taken seriously, you have an MOU in your pockets. Now, do you have such an MOU for future goodies? Or had you already been sorted out, CHUTH BER, and hakuna deni sasa?
You know Oburu Odinga used to sing Ababu is a mole, is a mole is a mole! I saw him laughing the other day in Kisumu, 'Ababu giri nong'iew chon, onge kuma dang' gidhiye kendo. Gigi ji te ong'eyo!' ---('Prostitute Ababu was bought long ago. Everybody knows this. Where else can he go now?')
The good thing is you are young and energetic, and there is no law which says prostitutes can not excel in performance of their calling. And most men have use for prostitutes even if they ever deny it! Cornered by a rising Peter Kenneth who signals Mumbi inclination to dump him, and a Kenyatta-Moi dynastic parley which signals a formula to retain the loyalty of the Kalenjin voting block without a forced alignment to The Hustler Singh, a desperate William Ruto is likely to be forced to remember old pawns like you. Unless of course you are in truth Kenyatta's flower, or, keeping with the prostitute imagery, you will go to the highest bidder.
It is a terribly disconcerting picture to imagine a talented young (ex) general as but a mere mercenary Tumboman. But the greatest insult is to the Mulembe nation, that it had to be such a shallow thing that talked of MULEMBE CONSCIOUSNESS.

I have moved on, I will talk to Raila as an equal, says Labour party boss
Sunday October 2 2016
Question: What is the motivation behind your joining LPK?
Answer: I have exchanged sunset for sunrise, substance for rhetoric, false hope for genuine dreams and real transformation. I am motivated by the desire to serve Kenyans in a new atmosphere of substance, sincerity and liberty and to work in an environment devoid of toxic politics, suffocation, hollow posturing and false pretences.

He further said the legislator has never left his former party.
"If you search for his membership number with the registrar of political parties Ababu Namwamba is an ODM Life Member No.000777," he said.
Mr Makali termed Ababu Namwamba, also Budalang'i MP, a stranger in the party.
"Namwamba is an ODM member and is only trying to use LPK to negotiate for deals with Jubilee and to make quick cash," he claimed.

The Political Parties Tribunal has overturned the decision by the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) to expel Ababu Namwamba and Masoud Mwahima Mwalimu. The tribunal, at the same time, upheld the expulsion of Governor Salim Mvurya Ngala, MPs Joash Maangi, Isaac Mwaura, Steve Kariuki, John Waluke, Samuel Arama and Zainab Chidzuga. The panel ruled that Namwamba and Masoud were not granted a fair hearing because they did not face a disciplinary committee before their expulsion. The decision to expel the 'rebels' was allegedly reached after they were found guilty of attending the launch of the Jubilee Party at the Kasarani Stadium on September 10. The tribunal was chaired by Kyalo Mbobu.

Kenyatta promises Gideon Moi Cabinet slots
Feb. 24, 2017

Kanu chairman Gideon Moi has struck a deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta who will appoint him to the Cabinet if Kenyatta wins reelection.
Uhuru was anxious that Kanu may side with NASA, which could threaten his reelection. Kanu's decision is also a blow to the opposition that wanted its help in gaining traction in the vote-rich Rift Valley.
Yesterday, Kanu sources told the Star the deal was struck after the President and his Mother Mama Ngina separately visited retired President Daniel Moi.
"The Mois wanted to negotiate with Kenyatta directly and get him to commit. That happened before a decision was announced yesterday," a Kanu official familiar with the deal said.
According to another source, apart from Cabinet slots, Kanu will also get a number of lucrative parastatal appointments and plum diplomatic slots.
The former ruling party on Thursday officially threw its weight behind President Kenyatta's reelection, just a day after the opposition announced a unity coalition.
