Interesting game between Man U and Chelsea - I stepped away for a few minutes after Chelsea had scored 3 zero, coming back I find the score to be 3:2. As I was typing the score Man U just tied the game!

Luis Suarez of Liverpool, in a continueing feud with Patrice Evra of Man U. refused to shake hands in a much publicised event feb 11-2012. First he refused to apologise but now, under pressure from the American owners of the club and shirt-sponsors, he has. But the knives are out for him as they say in engeland. He will be better off in the primitive south! [read Spain and Portugal]! Liverpool:Will Suarez Luis be sacked?

He scored a hattrick in his debue for the Bulls, mpaka the boers are hoping he gets to play for the springboks. from YAHOO STORIES YOUTUBE: SERENA WINS CHARLESTON, APRIL 2012Serena Williams revealed in January that she wasn't in love with tennis. Despite her shocking revelation, Tennis Grand Stand reports that Williams celebrated her 40th career title, and her second Family Circle Cup championship, in Charleston, South Carolina over the weekend. The champ beat out Sabine Lisicki, Samantha Stosur and Lucie Safarova for the trophy, losing only 15 games in five matches. “I can’t say that I’ve played this consistently, this well in a while… I played well yesterday and I was just thinking I hope I can play this way again, and I did, which is great for me, confidence wise,” said Williams. On top of taking home yet another fancy cup, Williams pockets $115K in prize money. But it's not all about the money these days. She's preparing for the biggest tennis tournament of all, The French Open. Williams said, “that’s my goal every year is to win the French Open, so hopefully this will be another goal, another year. If not, believe me, I’ll be there the next year and the year after, so I’m going to keep trying and fighting and doing the best I can do.” Arriving at this moment wasn't easy. Last year, Williams spent a good portion of the year sidelined when she suffered a pulmonary embolism. Thankfully, she returned to the courts late last summer. Go Serena, go! ---yAHOO. sportsillustrated.cnn.com/tennis/news/20120408/serena-williams-charleston/

And the architect has resigned after Chelsea refused to lose to Barca. In just four years this man has helped mould the best form of soccer probably of all time. Of course he has had the world's best soccer player today, Lionel Messi (a magician in his own right), to work with. They have brisk passes all through the game. They control the ball more than any other team. As soon as the other team gets the ball they always get it back in seconds. They did that to perfection when they demolished Man U in the Eufa cup final in Wembley last year. That was probably the most beautiful soccer I have seen. Now where does Pep Guardiola go? Chelsea? What an irony that would be! Here is the man: www.nation.co.ke/sports/football/Guardiola+quits+Barcelona/-/1102/1395040/-/9l6tw9z/-/index.html

Senegalese federation plans tribute to late Bocande Former Senegal striker Jules Bocande died on Monday, the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has announced. Bocande, 53, had been unwell for months after reportedly suffering a stroke and died following surgery in France. "I'm totally devastated," said FSF president Augustin Senghor. "It's an enormous loss for Senegalese football." Senghor says the FSF are considering naming the country's future technical centre after Bocande - "in memory of his job as a player and coach". The dreadlocked Bocande never played at a World Cup but he did play a major role in engineering Senegal's run to the last eight of the 2002 finals in Asia. He worked as assistant coach to Frenchman Bruno Metsu as the Teranga Lions stunned the world by reaching the quarter-finals. "Bocande revived Senegalese football," said Senghor. "He gave everything to Senegalese football through his talent and his commitment." On the pitch, Bocande enjoyed his greatest success while playing for Metz, with whom he finished top scorer of France's Ligue 1 championship in 1985-86. "Jules was the hero of not just Senegalese but also a lot of African players - and we were very proud when he was top scorer in France," former club colleague Jimmy Adjovi-Boco told BBC Sport. The former Benin international, who co-founded the Diambars football academy in Senegal with Patrick Vieira, played alongside Bocande at Lens in the early 1990s. "We know that he always gave 100% on the pitch but off it, he was such a nice guy - he loved life and we always had a good laugh when we were together," the Beninois said. "He was such a hero in Senegal because he loved his country. When he was playing for the national team, he gave everything and people loved the fact that he never gave up. "He was always talking about his country, his flag and he was proud of Senegal - and that is why people loved him so much." Ironically, the Senegalese - who briefly coached his country for a spell in the 1990s - died in Metz after undergoing a surgical procedure in the city. Bocande also played for Paris Saint-Germain, Nice and Lens in France, while participating at three Africa Cup of Nations finals for Senegal. He captained the Teranga Lions as the Senegalese hosted the competition in 1992, only to bow out in the quarter-finals. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17991406

Sergio Aguero's last minute goal saw Manchester United steal a 3-2 win over QPR to bring the title to the Etihad A win over QPR for Roberto Mancini's Manchester City team would see the Citizens hold off their local rivals to take their first ever Premier League title. Pablo Zabaleta grabbed a huge goal for Manchester City, as Paddy Kenny failed to stop the Argentine's shot finding the net. City led 1-0 at the half. A Joleon Lescott mistake allowed Djibril a sight of goal , and the Frenchman stunned the Etihad as he beat Joe Hart to make it 1-1. Joey Barton saw red for striking Carlos Tevez before going on a rampage, kneeing Aguero and attempting to headbutt Kompany Jamie Mackie put City hearts in mouths as he gave ten man QPR a 2-1 lead on 66 minutes. Edin Dzeko came on as a substitute and headed home an equaliser for City in the 91st minute before Aguero won the title with the last kick of the game.
