With ka-loser fast fading what does Ngilu do?
Ka-loser KM must be feeling Moi's sharp knife twisting in his back. Didn't ka-loser team not meet Moi and jirongo? Was he in the loop?
What does Ngilu do, now that KM can not form an alliance with KANU? I dont know.
But I should suggest now is the time to jump to ODM, when ka-loser is past loosing steam and creating doubt about the viability of his campaign. KM's base, the Kamba's, should be wary of of 'throwing away" their votes. Ngilu in ODM alliance provides an alternative to Gen Kegs de othaya who has clowns like Ndile singing in public barazas as hit/pointmen

Are you freakin kiddin'? And not to wrestle back some of the support she had hemorrhaged when ka-loser was all the rage? She gotta make moves. She doesnt need to abandon her baby NAK/NPK or whatever its name is. She needs to somehow make her hay with ODM-Original But when KM is down like he is now, she has to make her move. She gotta provide leadership to Ukambani and project it nationally.

Ngilu is very relevant in this elections folks. She can be used to bolster either side. She still commands a sizeable blog in Kambaland. She has more teeth than Kalonzo and she is one of best campaigners among Kenya politicians. Ngilu will stay put in Marc untill the time is right . Do not be surprised to see her on the ballot - as a strategy of course.

Denno No Ngilu wont be on the Presidential ballot. But she is still relevant.
Those who were busy writting her off will come to rue that day. I am glad she has taken her time and not jumped on to the ODM band wagon yet.
She needs to strike when it will deliver a crushing blow to Generali Kegs whatever party.

I think her three options are very clear 1.Back ODM and consequently loose her parliamentary seat, but then ODM will most certainly nominate her back to the house.
2.Gamble with kibaki and have a 50/50 chance of retaining her seat.
3.Support Kalonzo and get an easy ride back to uhuru highway.
As far as ODM(R) is concerned she might not bring anything from ukambani in her basket but her influence on the women vote nationally will definitely be a plus, not to mention the gender balance that we need badly.

This will depend on how ka-loser KM performs. And also how strong the ODM - Original aura is nationally. If KM is strong nationally, he might have long coattails resulting in a wave election in Kamba land. But I doubt it. But if it looks like R is winning, get ready to see Ngilu re-emerge. Ngilu aint dissapearing. She is resilient and a grass roots operator. Where she ends up will be interesting

PM,
Exactly, jaugenya got it right. It doesn't matter to ODM what Ngilu does. All her options will strengthen ODM. One, if she joins kaloser, more votes will be subtracted from kibakis pot. Two, if she joins Kibaki, she will loose her seat and Kaloser will get more Kamba votes which harms Kibaki more than Raila. Three, joining ODM is also insignificant because I'm afraid he might not bring half of the Kamba votes. Remember Kaloser is campaigning against Raila, not Kibaki.
In my view, Ngilu will join ODM partly because of TG (Tony Gachoka) and partly because Kaloser and her always go opposite ways.
ODM doesn't have much of eastern anyway. What Kibaki needs to do now is to split Western, RV and coast to seal the deal. He is going to make Kirwa/Saitoti his running mate then push on Shirikisho to support him and let Kombo bring Bukusu votes which I think is half of western province.

genuis General Kegs wont dump uncle for saitoti, but may be Kirwa. That makes more sense to me. But that means that Western is COMPLETELY Orange too, WITHOUT the guarantee of getting the Kalenjin vote. ODM is well positioned.
As for Ngilu you makes a lot of sense. I am unable to read her.

PM,
Western is not completely Orange if Kombo runs. Kombo can take all bukusu vote. Remember he convinced them to vote for banana during the referendum. Mudavadi can help ODM by repeating this line during his campaigns in western, "Raila, Ruto, & Balala will support me in 2012". That's all he needs to do. I'm a little nervous though. People from Western always vote where there is a lot of money/goodies.

Out of the 5 Bukusu seats ODM takes 2. Thats what my folks are telling me. the rest of the areas, Busia, Kakamega, Teso Maragoli - land are ODM. Western is going ODM by a huge margin. R has personal ties there. -son in law -Ida is half Luhya. At presidential level kombo will be hard pressed to keep away mudamba jnr/R/Ruto campaign team. As we speak the ground is shifting. You watch

Ngilu is a woman very Mad of the Kibaki circle at the moment. She is so Mad that she could be sedated in oder to keep herself under control for it isn'tthe right time now to throw tantrum. So people, prepare yorself for a big action from Mamsab when are time is ripe for striking. She will shock the ground one way or he other.
ps:who is ka-loser
