I have retrieved a very useful information from BBC that actually reveals the stand of Kenya´s only hope " His Excellency, Dr. Kofi Annan´s mediation".
Annan thinks that a re-run would only result into more Chaos. That in itself is a blunder. Who is dreaming out there that Kibaki would accept a powerful Prime- Minister?? then i say you should be one of the so called day-dreamers.
As i quoted before in my previous threads, Annan is seaking Peace as a priority and this way, he can miraculously achieve some calm NOT peace.
All the past topics that both parties have agreed upon and (probably) signed are obvious. I mean if somebody asks a warlord as to whether he´d prefer peace to war, he´s obviously say I want Peace but this does not necessarity constitute an absent of his Wars!!.. To me, denouncing violence, holding peace rallies are issues cheap to concede. So I think the news from negotiation tables concerning solutions to our National problem have so far been deceptive. The Problem is One and it is Justice. The international media have deliberately chosen to dwell on tribalism at the expense of a visible Injustice (cited with evidence), Knowing pretty well that Tribalism is not the Problem in Kenya.I mean, I am Kalenjin but I am still roasting weekend nyama choma with my Kyuk friends.
" In simple terms, If Annan will not talk about the rectification of deliberately managed rigging by the Electaoral Commission and the High Court during the tallying and declaring Kibaki´s second term respectively, These talks are painfully bound to fail".
That the outcome of another poll would result into further violence should not be his business, he should mediate with a goal to reaching a Just and Peaceful resolution and then hand over the findings to the Afro-Union, The UN and every other interested parties. FULL STOP
Here is the link that helped me come to this idea
