Could it be that the 'Yes' campaigners as led by their chief are taking everyone for a ride by presenting to us a Constitution which they know will be refused by the masses, so that they may continue to rule using the current Constitution, and in that they did not in the first place intend to bring about a genuine new Constitution as desired? Eh? Could it?
Could it be that right from the word go they had intended to put us, the innocent masses, between a rock and a hard place, so that we may never be able to make a good and timely decision for the sake of the change we so much desired all along?
Could it be that Kenyans are indeed a foolish and naive lot for allowing this wako scam to be voted upon in the first place, and that is despite the fact that it is certainly a document that is far from being legit and does not deserve the slightest of respect by any living creature?
Could it be that all those billions spent have been deliberately and cleverly wasted, just so that the mafĂas can buy time and get to strategise for 2007 without so much concern about the 'new Constitution' as had been anticipated earlier?
Did I say we are foolish and naive?

I do not think that they *initially* already believed that the Wako draft would be refuted. However, it may well be that some want to pursue the referendum course now, in full knowledge and with the implied acceptance of possible defeat. A very short-sighted move, I would say.

For some people so convinced that Kenyans would be voting No, then we must have a government of utter idiots who are dishing out parks, hiking salaries et al so that they can win this thing!
Never underestimate your adversary - he may know more than you can imagine.
