Absolutely fantastic!!!!!

After telling off Obama, now w can scrape the ground looking for dirt on Rateng? Why was he an okay guy when he worked for JOOF but ceased doing so when he moved on with a fellow that does not see eye to eye with JOO's son?

Spare us some of this hypocrisy!!!

Ogego has had to deal with further fallout from this incident. Claims of US Government displeasure at Ogego’s action are highly exaggerated but this has not stopped the flaying frenzy in parts of the blogosphere intent on casting him in unfavourable light.

Perennial Kenyan chatterboxes are busy posting on the Internet unverifiable claims against the ambassador.

True, Ogego comes with quite a bit of baggage. His long association and sudden break with the leviathan Raila Odinga may have gained him permanent friends or enemies depending on their stand on Odinga. That may be what is driving the animus. However, the one thing that may very well work in Ogego’s favour is the ability to talk sweetly and to get on with just about everybody who crosses his path. He deployed those qualities to full effect in Ottawa, Canada, his station prior to crossing over to America. He won many accolades from Kenyans in Canada for sticking to the issues and doing it with panache.

I have met with Ogego twice, regarding the Titanium-mining scandal, and I can confidently say that he does not represent our best interests as a nation.

Mulaa's comments, in partucular, need to be immediately addressed:

Nothing could be further from the truth!

I live in Ottawa. I moved here two years ago, after failing to get a single response from him, regarding how Canada is robbing us in broad daylight. I have also staged protests outside the High Commission to this effect.

I have reiterated all the critical questions that have been asked regarding this project, and Ogego has not only proven to be grossly incompetent, but a true msaliti. This man has done a very good job of covering up the mess around this issue. The last time we met, he literally threatened me (and I assume that he was speaking on behalf of the government!).
