Re: [kco-l] We Need MORE Donkeys!!
Oloo:
It took me 45 minutes to read your whole article.
Please try to write short sweet pieces. Oloo, you are endowed with such excellent writing skills and it is a shame that you always lose your audience by not communicating effectively. Writing extremely long articles is a recipe for the "delete" button. Most people here have busy lives and asking them to spend 45 minutes to read one e-mail is a bit excessive. When people do not read your articles in whole, your message gets lost thura Wuod Gem (my compatriot, the son of Gem).
It was nice to hear from you after such a long time though. I hope you will soon announce your candidacy for Parliament. I am sure you are planning on Central Province given your Pan-Kenyan beliefs. Oloo, I think you really should run in Central. This way you will be able to demystify the myth we all suppose that Kenya is a tribalistic society. The GEMA community will endorse your candidacy overwhelmingly. After all, they are not tribalistic.
Pass our regards to your colleagues. Keep up the good work Oloo.
Sincerely, Maurice J Oduor CPE, KCE, KACE ......P.Eng.

Don’t misquote Agwambo – these things are on tape, you know.
I heard him quite clearly. He did NOT say there was no space for donkeys. Or that all donkeys should be killed. Donkeys can exist of course – as they have probably existed since time immemorial; doing thankless jobs.
Agwambo only pointed out that THERE ARE horses and donkeys, and that those donkeys would be hard put to win a race…
I thought – up till now – that it was a simple enough analogy.
