UK is simply doing in reverse what the likes of Berlusconni in Italy & Mayor Bloomberg of New York did before him. They started from media ownership & finished off with politics. The antidote is simple. Don't tune into his channels if you don't want to get his message.
All the best on that front, though. Given his business interests in KE you may be surprised at the sheer number of don'ts you will have to abide by once you attempt a blanket boycott.

Lol! Nok, that's the spirit. This chap has cornered the market in different areas. If you boycott Brookside & go for Tuzo, your money (that has his daddy's portrait on it) still goes into his pocket. Same if you boycott Tuzo for Ilara. Hell he can even import some non-descript brand from Uganda or Tanzania which he owns if you try to boycott KE products.
Usually what happens is you find there's no milk except Brookside. Will you leave it behind? You surf the channels & catch some zany lady ranting about "Mombasa raha". I bet you'll tune in & listen. Meanwhile UK laughs all the way to his bank. If it makes you feel any better note that the same happens in the first world as well.

Precisely b6K your comparison Italian Pm and Kenyan deputy PM is absolutely fitting! Both are BOSSES !

Koinange is trying to feed his family. In Kenya sometimes you have to forget your ethics if you want some Unga for your family. He has no choice but to articulate what the 'orders from above' dictate.
