Now that they have thrown the VP out of their mbaas (or is it Bus) as Kiraitu would have it,the way is now clear for Uhuru to take the Presidency and Ruto the Deputy President. All they need to do now is to form one party. As to the allocation of posts to kina Eugene,Waititu,Mwakwere,Kuttuny,Duale and the rest, that one will be sorted later.Raila,Moi,Obama,Ocampo,ICC judges na hao wazungu wengine can go to hell for all we care.Sasa ni wakati wa kusema na kutenda ;D ;D

Because it is only small rivers that join big rivers. It is also easier for Uhuru to be elected in Kalenjin land than for Ruto to be elected as President by Central voters. The Kalenjin in case you have forgotten also voted in large numbers for Uhuru Kenyatta in 2002.It is also evdent from the way they have conducted themselves so far that it is Uhuru and no else for the Presidency. If they choose someone else,Central voters will bolt out of G7.

Two obvious counterexamples are Moi acceding to the Presidency with Gikuyu help, and the (secret, and failed) deal between DP and FORD to run Jaramogi as Presidential candidate in 92.

I saw a cartoon on the predicament of Kalonzo and thought.....
In the matatu business there are 3 people involved.......
The one who shouts hoarse at the stage calling for passengers. His loyalties never lie with any particular matatu as he fills up any that comes along. He is usually left at the bus stop with a 20 bob or 'finje'.
The one who gets the passengers to 'kaa square', collect fare as the journey commences and usually hand it to the third person.
The one who drives the van.
Sasa makanga wa stage anataka kupanda matatu tena?
The 'makanga wa gari' also should know what will be coming his way should he attempt to dethrone the driver.
Tafakari hayo.

www.the-star.co.ke/debate/63086-will-vp-kalonzo-survive-without-g7-supportThe sooner the Political Parties Act is enforced, the cleaner parliamentary business might become. The fraudulent, convoluted, tortuous mess prevailing is as confusing as befuddling. Sample this oxymoron (below) illustrated in the Star report. ODM's David Koech has been selected to become PNU's Chief whip, ostensibly replacing WDM's Johnstone Muthama. The Nation reports a different Chief Whip however.

if you get a chance pop over to see this weeks maddo, captures kalonzo hanging on
adongo
you are quite right, any politician would know that although its a long journey and basically starting from scratch again, its better for kalonzo to build his image away from the G7. from here on he is just pictured as a person clinging on to a false hope.
these guys will not support him he can only play a distant 3rd spot
i wonder what his constituents think of this very weak image
