This is what the political guru told Citizen TV on sunday night.
1. Presidential election will be a two horse race between Raila and Mudavadi!
2. Uhuru and Ruto will NOT stand due to ICC.
3. Uhuru and Ruto will back Mudavadi.
4. When Luhyas see that their son is being backed by Kikuyus and Kalenjins, they won't have any option but to back him too.
5. Ye's Mudavadi is a state house project and he should come clean about it.
6. In Kenya, voters don't elect president, they just ENDORSE the elites project.
7. Mudavadi's fortunes are rising the fastest in opinion polls, from around 2% to the current 8% and will get better with time.
8. Mudavadi will be favoured by the gods, since more popular candidates will not be running and there's nothing spectacular he has accomplished in his 21 years in politics.
9. This is Raila Odinga's last attempt at the presidency. He's drinking in the Last Chance Saloon!
10. Presidency in Kenya seems to go to less popular candidates or moderates.
What say you?

::)Mutahi has made many wrong predictions in the past, and this is another one of them. He may be right on the assertion that Wa Muigai and Arap Ruto are technically out of the race for two reasons, the ICC and what the USU sec secretary of state is alleged to have said about their candidature. But, where he goes wrong is in the identity of the potential winner!
Here is something to ponder - both Wa Muigai and Arap Ruto are extremely intelligent, modern and hard working individuals. They also are known to take views in politics and stand by it! They are unlikely to support someone with less qualities!!
But, they too know that whoever they support will become the next leader of the republic! They also know that the ICC is likely to find them innocent in the long run. They also know that Kenya needs to modernize and progress socially and economically.
And that is why their secret card will be left for Raphael to take!

And here is my own prediction come post 2013 presidential election: Mudavadi will suffer a massive defeat by Raila during the second round, and KANU will be back in power, as it has always been since 1963!

How so? Not sure I understand you. Methinks he means a former Secretary General of KANU will defeat a former Vice President of KANU

UHURUTO will be on the ballot ! mark my words .Mutahi is an intellectual for hire and his job is to plant the seeds that cheer on UHURUTO albeit in a conclead manner ,for UHURUTO to give up their ambitions what will they be telling Kenyans that they are gulity ? ,that they have succumbed to western powers? ,that they are not self confident ? ,i dont think they will do that. The plan is quite clear keep RV votes from Raila by Ruto running and combine Eugene and Uhuru votes and they will possibly win in the first round but RAO will beat uhuru like a kamba drum in the runoff.

www.the-star.co.ke/local/central/90528-kikuyu-council-of-elder-deny-backing-mudavadiKikuyu Council of Elders have denied backing Deputy Prime Minister PM Musalia Mudavadi for presidency saying they are behind Uhuru Kenyatta. The elders denied reports in a section of the press that they support Musalia. "To clear the air, the Kikuyu Council of Elders is backing Hon Uhuru Kenyatta for the seat == www.the-star.co.ke/national/corridors-of-power/90502-corridors-of-powerStill on matters politics two MPs Ndiritu Muriithi and Jeremiah Kioni are said to be worried by TNA operatives to launch vicious campaigns against them in their home turfs. They allege that TNA supporters have been moving around Laikipia West and Ndaragwa telling the electorate that their MPs were backing the 'wrong horse' (because they are supporting Mudavadi) and should be taught a political lesson come the next elections. The campaigns are having an impact and Kioni reportedly sought the assistance of one of the G7 Alliance members to intervene and get the TNA hirelings to stop the campaigns. of the G7 Alliance to intervene and have TNA supporters back off. "I thought by supporting Mudavadi we are working towards the same goal but I am starting to think that it may have been a mistake," Kioni is reported to have told the G7 leader who politely declined to get involved. == uhuruto are committing lots of funds into their campaigns. its not clear how one can spend these amounts of cash then back out

Folks,
The problem with people like Mutahi Ngunyi is that they try so hard to turn their WISHES (wishful thinking) into PREDICTIONS! They can only fool so many people.
Ngunyi has a habit of trying to twist facts on the ground to suit his so called predictions even when the facts show that his "prediction" is more of a fantasy than anything else.
How for example does Mutahi Ngunyi suppose that the ICC will stop Uhuru and Ruto? He hasn't bothered to say that because he has no idea how that would happen. Will the ICC come to Nairobi and order Uhuru and Ruto not to run? I don't think so.
Will the courts rule against Uhuru and Ruto running? Mr. Ngunyi has not presented any legal arguments to support such a possibility. Ngunyi is satisfied with making prophesies rather presenting facts.
Many of us thought Uhuru and Ruto would not run because we thought they would have the common sense to understand that neither of them can be the president while at the same time facing trial at The Hague. The two amigos have proved they have no such common sense. They would rather run and if they win be thrown out of office and let the chips fall where they may. As of now that train of their left the station eons ago. There is simply o turning back. Even Kibaki cannot get Uhuru to back down, how is Ngunyi going to pull it off? It is what it is and the political circumstances are such that it is going to be each for themselves.
Kibaki has one way of getting his Mudavadi in office. Save Uhuru from the ICC and get Kenya into a pariah status. As things stand now Kibaki can't gather the guts to do anything like that and hence Ngunyi is just busy making himself a false prophet. That is not new for him, or is it?
