Mars Group Kenya Update: Vindicated! New Parliamentary Committee Report recommends Independent Forensic Audit into Kenya's Revenue Accounts A new Parliamentary Committee Report has recommended the institution of an independent forensic audit into Kenya's revenue accounts, after the Finance Ministry was unable to explain discrepancies amounting to over Ksh 480 billion for the single election year of 2007-8. The report tabled on 19th September 2012 is due for debate by MPs later this month. The report vindicates Mars Group's original study which identified the discrepancies as long ago as June 2011. In the link you give above, the number two is outside the link and it gives a different piece of news in blog.marsgroupkenya.org/?p=311

Thanks euonyi - you're quite right! The correct link for the Mars Group/ Kenya Parliament Tax Accounts Report is blog.marsgroupkenya.org/?p=3112Though the other link is very interesting too - the MV Faina Somali hijacked cargo turned out to be tanks for S. Sudan and not what Kibaki shamefully claimed were Kenyan military imports: blog.marsgroupkenya.org/?p=311
