The stage is set for a gubernatorial by-election in Migori county after governor Zachary Obado lost his seat following an Appeal Court ruling in Kisumu that nullified his election in the March 4 election. The court further directed the IEBC to make preparations for a by-election to replace Obado. The Kisumu court has also nullified the election of Fred Outa as the member of the National Assembly for Nyando constituency. Meanwhile the Appellate court in Nairobi has upheld the election of Upholds election of Sam Tunai as Narok Governor, and dismissed a petition that had challenged the announcement of Tunai as governor in the 2013 March 4 polls. - See more at: the-star.co.ke/news/article-160826/appeallet-court-nulifies-migori-governor-obados-election#sthash.anRg34iC.dpuf
