In this one mention, it does not become clear how the said minister used his position in the faith community to advance his alleged actions, or if at any time the institutional set-up of which he would have been a part served as an enabler. We have, since 2007, heard of priests and institutions that sheltered fleeing Kenyans from marauding gangs, but the ICC is also now asking us to pause and wonder if not everyone giving homilies at the time actually provided some comfort. As was with Chickengate, this adverse mention is coming to us from without. So, which organised church will be first to tell us the truth, and so set us free? Or shall we continue with the prayer and peace rallies as we have done for some while now and hope all remains well? More - www.the-star.co.ke/news/icc-brief-exposes-church-weakness
