Einstein , i will stubbornly not take that back , my point is not to chastise women parse but Orengo has always been viewed as one of the best legal minds in Kenya and has more experince than karua by far, how did this happen? two major flaws are the the conflicting role of head of civill service and the ambiguity of what happens when the GCU stands dissolved. tiskie While we at ODM are pigering Domo these guyz are busy privatising everything and anything in their path , why do you think they want to silence the media? , incase you didnt know the TEAMs project that is to bring fibre optic cable data to our shores is already being sold to "'few private investors'',the port of mombasa is next brother.
Again any one with a copy of the NARA

I have followed this thread with zeal and now it is time for me to throw in my two sense, for anyone who had thought that this was a government based on 50-50 power sharing the writing is on the wall, ODM got the short end of the stick.Unlike Adongo i dont think kenyans will sharpen their machetes just yet , in 07 they did because they believed in R but his complacency with the fat cats have betrayed him to a point people think he just wanted an illusion of power and that is why he signed the accord blindly. We should also fault Orengo since he was lead counsel in this negotiatins, how could he be outsmarted by such a wide margin by a woman in the name of Karua.Raila's problem has always been his clean heart that leads him to trust even hyenas that will turn and eat him.Leaving the govt as it is, is not an option because that is exactly what the the MKM wants , it is better to fight from within than without, after all is said and done the MKM will still rule after kibaki even if they are not in state house they are buying all corporations in key sectors after KPA these guys might just privatise the central bank and there isn't a thing ODM or kenyans will do.

I predicted that this was the way gema will want to chart their future in Kenyan politics ,if we use land as a measure of constituency numbers then they will be locked out ,but if we use population then they will easily advocate for a powerful premiership then win it by default , or better still advocate for electoral votes for presidential votes, then that will keep power in their house of mumbi forever , now you see why Martha is so confident in her bid.

Yes that is what democracy is ,people can overwhelmingly vote for you and then again against you if you fail their expectations, look what kibaki got himself in to.

Mcain is like the villain in a movie who when conered by the cops picks up a vulnerable innocent looking woman with knife in her throat and asks the cops to put down their weapons or he will finish her , dramaticaly all weapons go down but their is one cop who is the lead star in the movie who is not buying that crap , so when the crook is still making demands of a gateaway car and pizza the star cop has another hidden weapon in his wrist and he is also an olympian sharp shooter and boom the crook gets one on the shoulder and down he goes the lady is free ,cuffs around him and in to an ambulance and off to a jail hospital wher he belongs .

People lets be a bit sober and discuss this issue objectively, first and foremost we must not confuse allowances with remuneration or salaries.Let us identify things we can all agree with in this issue like a) that the taxpayer already spends some kind of money on these ladies ,this include travel expenses and security;b)that these ladies are part and parcel of their husbands careers both politically and executive. Now lets try and see why they deserve allowances , we expect the first ladies to represent Kenya both regionally and internationally in a dignified manner right? ,if we answer yes to that question then we must surely be willing to foot the bill , this ladies have successful careers one as a business lady and CEO the other as a Senior banker , let us use the capitalistic way and quantify how much they make an hour doing their regular jobs , for the sake of argument lets assume that they both earn 5k per hour , and calculate that every time they are away from their job on official duty as prime and vice lady they are losing this much.Isn't it only fair to compensate them for the lost wages when they are out representing Kenyans , pushing for charitable causes or hosting investors and dignitaries?A good example is the board of directors in a company ,these guys are non executive meaning they do not report to work like you and i but get compensated for every meeting they attend or function they undertake in their capacity as such.So please ladies and gentlemen let us do away with this pettiness of mob justice , we are the same people who are paying Ringera 2.5 million to do nothing but fight ghosts .

What is steadmans motivation and who is paying for these polls any way ,we are not intrested in petty competition all we want is service delivery period. The money steadman is wasting researching nonsensicle stuff can be better spent elsewhere ie reserach in depth the problem with our students thats the kind of opinion poll they should be researching , and by the way it is time that old mzungu wolf(in sheep skin) retired.

The issue with these kids is that we are trying to educate them with an obsolete education sysytem. The current education sysytem in kenya has bypassed its usefulness in a modern day world , let us adopt a new education system that will nature talents and release pressure from the students. Why would a science oriented student be forced to shove music or fasihi down their throats , this just creates un-neccesary work load which in turn leads to high stress levels and we all know what this leads to.I understand that there is need to have well rounded graduates but you do not need to go indepth about subjects like swahili , if one can learn basic swahili and is able to commuincate fluently that should be good enough.Taking away modern tech products from the kids will not solve the problem , are we not the same people who aspire to be technologicaly advanced by 2030 , while others are advocating for one computer per child we are being petty by denying them simple tech gadgets , remember it is these youths who will realize the 2030 vision not ongeri and certainly not kibaki.

Yes indeed hats off for the very right PM , even steadman findings do not oppose the facts on the ground.Tinga is making lemonade out of the lemons he got after the stolen election and we need to support him with all we have , even the brits recognise that their is a new crop of leadership and change that is slowly but surely sweeping across mama Africa, history will remember where this wind started from and Raila will be at the centre.

Adongo Raila can not do anything , delegated powers can be overruled(remember what kibaki did to orengo) , this accord thing was only but an empty shell.I have read that document over and over and the more i read it the more vague it appears , it is just another paper tiger. What disciplinary powers does raila have in order to discharge his supervisory and coordination duties, he can only recommend to the president and as we all know kibaki is not about to do anything , best he will do is to keep quite and wish it goes away and believe me it will.Kibaki is the biggest beneficiary at this point ,he is in his final term and also has somebody to share blame with but not power , he will not take any action and at the same time pass the back to his supervisor. This thing the only solution is to continue fighting from within, i have thought of the other popular option of quiting the GCG but then i asked my self this question ,that if kimunya has such audacity when ODM is in the same cabinet with him what would he do when they are not? Remember Tinga sent an executive order to ringera to update him on the Grand regency matter , did any good come out of this? , if he cant even tame insubordination what can we expect Raila to do??? the answer is nothing!

Kimunya has once again outsmarted ODM , remember the message he deliverd at KICC minutes to kibaki's aleged victory, this time he wittily introduced the issue of taxation of mps to keep us busy to give him enough room to pull strings and seal the deall that was "too goood". talking of resignation is wishful thinking like kivuitu said"this is africa' , people dont resign they get promoted.I have been thinking that karua is the brains behind pnu but it is now clear that kimunya is calling the shots and could be the second most powerful person in kenya , or how else would you explain what has been happening lately , first it was mobitelea then dela rue and now grand corruption.

Mutahi ngunyi is a spent force , days when he wrote with a level of objectiviy are long gone , after his fall out with the pnu stalwarts he is tring to salvage his image but alas it is too late. With the mushrooming of the jukwaas and kumekuchas , such analysts belong to the musuem with kibaki, their is nothing we dont know that this man can tell us .

These are the same people who only months ago refused to off load weapons destined to Zim only to turn around and kill the poor folk , the white man really messed up our brains all this shows is how deeply the african man hates himself, democracy , western concept of economy is not for us , we should conceptulaize sysytems that can work based on traditional african culture.Adopting this western ideals is equal to downloading the wrongsoftware in your computer and expecting it to perform the tasks you were wishing.we can not crossbreed cultures and remain sane , it is either we purge all western culture and totaly embrace our roots or purge our african culture and embreace the western one , the african man is too confused about who he is .On onehand you want an i phone and on the other you just long for uji in a calabash or some exotic bitter leaves.

If the above story is true then i mourn the day Kibaki stole our democratic right , imagine if this man TINGA was president , that is the kind of talk that leadership is made of , not by the road side pronucements .

It is a good idea but we must respect the law , you can not have a party in government and at the same time in the opposition , so goes the saying that you cant have your cake and eat it, Ababu you are either in Govt(ODM) or not , i support the notion of opposition but follow the law which you seem to defend and understand very well by stepping down from your mandate as an ODM mp and seek a fresh mandate from a party of your choice, you can even call it Mango democratic movemement or apple whatever pleases you , if you keep talking the way you do i migt even consider voting for you.

Elections will solve this stalemate fair and square , only precondition is that ECK as it is must be dissolved and we should have elections done under the supervision of the AU in conjunction with the UN.

It is time Raila owned up and apoligised to kenyans for declaring kibaki Tosha, it would have been easier to deal with UHURU had he clinched the presidency in 02.

PM I have always had a similar opinion , if the govt has three arms isn't it a conflict of interest to have mps have their foot in two ie legislature and executive.I also opine that once the prezzo and veepee are elected just like Mr speaker they should relinquish their parliamentary seat , a president and veepee should be mps for all Kenyans, au sio?.I have never seen a judge who doubles as a PS or any other position in the civil service.
