Folks Many things have bee said about the ICC process implicating Kenya. Outlandish suppositions have filled the airwaves as to how the Ocampo six ended up in the current predicament. While the political motives behind some of the statement can be glossed over by any objective analyst of the factors at play, I find the statement by Hon Naivasha MP , Mututho that The ICC was supposedly bribed to sneak in the names of the Ocampo six, outrageous. I do not know what it takes and I certainly would not hold any brief for ICC but isn't it in order to have t he Kenyan government to request Mututho to substantiate his claims.? I may be picking on something petty but I believe Hon Mututho would do well to table his evidence lest a whole new charade about the ICC is engendered to soil the minds of kenyans who trust the potential for justice at the ICC as opposed to a local process (in the current dispensation. The following is the report I am alluding to. ---------- www.nation.co.ke/News/politics/Ruto+Uhuru+allies+train+their+guns+on+Raila+/-/1064/1137712/-/item/1/-/gdl6b5/-/index.html"...... Naivasha MP John Mututho claimed that Ocampo was using rumours and news report to compile his evidence rather than researched work.
“I have evidence that an American paid Sh80 million in the computing centre to have the six accused. I have evidence to that effect and I can table it if challenged,” he added...."

Nalinali Good spoting, such statements by MP's should be brought to light.. yes Kenyans want to see him table the proof or else he should be sacked for false statements.. why should the USA bribe ICC to catch those who Kenyans believe were the cause of Heinous crimes? not even Kenyans have to bribe the ICC or anyone else to catch those who paid for or were involved in the slaughter, rape, and burning of innocent Kenyans.. NAIVASHA WAS ONE OF THE AREA'S HARD HIT BY THE MUNGIKI GANGS HIRED BY UHURU & COKENYANS NOW DEMAND THAT THE ICC SHOULD LOOK CLOSES AT THE MP OF NAIVASHA MUTUTHO! WAS HE INVOLVED IN PAVING WAY FOR THE MUNGIKI GANGS TO CARRY OUT THEIR MURDERERS? DID HE HOLD MEETINGS WITH MUNGIKI & UHURU TO PLAN THE MASSACRE.. THESE ARE SERIOUS QUESTIONS FOR THIS PARTICULAR MP TO ANSWER

I think this is a classic example of natiomedia legitimising impunity publishing any outlandish rubbish without any evidence on behalf of the masters of impunity who thy diligently serve eg why won't they name kibaki wife as drug baron when evidence out there suggest so or many may have missed there previous wikileak where they covered for michuki insults to raila by referring to him as a senior person in gova whereas standard n the star named the thug for what he is

One can see clearly that this media house is interested in maintaining the status quo. Thus you see many a time when strange utterances by politicians are uttered as if they were incontrovertible news, against a backdrop of countervailing facts which they would pull out just with a little investigative scratching. In this particular, a Hon member of parliament makes a single utterances that purports to point to some truth that Kenyans (Ocampo six) are being tried on account of international bribery. It is callous, inconsiderate to the PEV victims and totally disparaging of the efforts to achieve a dispensation that is anchored on respect of the law. Someone should follow this up.

and we are reminded that ruto tirelessly campaigned against the new constitution that you purport he now "trusts"?! The new constitution is for Kenyans whether you voted yes, no, abstained or you were in the bar drinking and the last time I checked Ruto is a Kenyan . basically you are saying this man can only plan up to breakfast and is incapable of looking ahead with the resources at his disposal, knowing that the push for reforms including possible new dispensation of the constitution was in high gear, rather than throw out the bill couldn't they have considered alternatives? anyway its pointless engaging in this meantime take a deep look at imanyara's new STK bill, this is even more hard hitting than the ICC, these fellows are better off at the ICC, but this is what a credible local process should look like kudos to mhe. imanyara, now lets see those wanting local process support this. if it hits the floor of the house, it will be stripped to 2 pages otherwise the ocampo 6 and maybe one or two more will be locked up for life endimpunityinkenya.org/pdf/FINAL%20Special%20Tribunal%20Division%20Bill%20As%20at%20Feb%203%202011%202%2030PM-1.pdf

tnk,
those "supporting" a local process like Beth Mugo have been categorical that they will not support a tribunal that allows for the recruitment of non-citizens like the imanyara STK bill proposes. whatever the case am glad we are getting our country back kidogo kidogo seeeing that some things that were hitherto unthinkable a couple of years back are actually happening ie 'the king' cutting a sad and lonely figure in the ICC dock answering to serious criminal charges, who would have thought?
