www.the-star.co.ke/national/corridors-of-power/49469-corridors-of-powerSpeculation is rife that a well known political strategist will soon join the Office of the Prime Minister to replace Miguna Miguna. The strategist has had running duels with Miguna before and is said to be a target of the ODM because he is disillusioned with the PNU. The man has since been released by PNU. He has been conspicuously missing in G7 Alliance activities Any qualified Kenyan can serve in the PM's office, but on this, I feel the Star's sources are wrong. It's unlikely to happen in view of this loaded statement Kagwanja issued on the matter of the on-going ICC cases. Besides, the grand coalition has got only months left to its life and soon Miguna's former office will cease to exist.

May be it is Moses Kuria. But the Star news section is usually just gossip. This corridor of power thing is the worst. The Star Opinion Section remains good because they have kept good writers and some very talented people. The news section gets one thing right out of a hundred. It is essentially bar gossip.

I dont think bar gossip is at the same level of fiction as a fairytale. More reasons I dont read the Star- its gutter press.
