Nowhere have I suggested CORD is a coalition of two parties. On running mate for Senate, you are right, it does not exist. Remember, even after these nominations, ODM NEB will analyse the coalition strengths and issue certificates accordingly. Coalitions are crafted under agreements which have to be honoured. Now tell us how are URP and TNA doing? Did I just receive a 411 that URP is also postponing? Ballot papers have not arrived in entire South Rift for URP wanna helicopter..! Meanwhile in Kakamega, Soita Shitanda has been rejected by UDF. Mambo baado! Stop diverting issues...there is a Jubilee thread you can go laugh at them there. What exactly do you mean when you say "ODM NEB will analyse the coalition strengths and issue certificates accordingly"[/b]. Does this nullify the nomination process then if it is on the basis of analysis of coalition strength that certificates will be issued? My view is that if Omar goes to Wiper, then he is seeking nomination on Wiper ticket and will be on the ballot on 4th March.[/quote] Your view is WRONG! There is nothing like diverting issues, the baord is entitled to be informed of all nominations taking place today, including the fact that that Jubilee has failed to hold nominations and that CORD is reporting 44 out of 47 success!

To be honest, I am now confused and completely lost in this whole thing! phil: I know you are in better position to understand what is going on with the ODM Nomees. Kindly explain to us in a simple language what exactly is going on, by breaking down the dual noms process in the two cats. Wsan't Msa county not supposed to have 'joint noms' and how? @kamale is working very hard to create this confusion. The fact of the matter is that CORD National Election Board will issue certificates for nominees from CORD constituent parties. CORD is the only coalition recognized by IEBC. What exactly do you mean by 'the only coalition recognized by the IEBC'? This is what I know: CORD is only a coalition on matters regarding the presidential and deputy presidential nominations and elections as well as discipline of the coalition members is concerned. But when it comes to nominations of MP, Governors and their deputies, Senators and women reps, down to the county assemblies, each party is on its own. They will issue their own certificates as long as those parties are duly registered. In this regard, Hassan will have a Wiper certificate for senator and Kajembe will have an ODM certificate for the same seat. Same thing with Noah Wekesa (ODM) and Khaemba (FORD-K). They both will, however, subscribe to the rules of CORD as a coalition in matters such as campaigning and supporting Raila and Kalonzo, discipline etc .

Phil
How does asking you to clarify something become me creating confusion?
As Mwalimu says you are the one misleading people on how Cord is working. IEBC has already said that the symbol on the ballot will not be a coalition logo, but the symbol of the actual party doing the nomination. If we follow your lame argument, then IEBC will issue ODM nominations to everyone in CORD which is obviously wrong! Why is Mutula for instance chasing a Wiper nomination as opposed to a CORD/ODM nomination?
The bottom line is that poor Omar run away from ODM to be on the ballot on a Wiper ticket and the toothless club you are calling the CORD NEB cannot do much - Raila already killed it!!
I have this view that you are not entirely clued up on the arrangements in CORD and you are perhaps hoping you can fool us on your association with the Raila office as authority.
