There have been widespread rumours that Kambas are not supportive of CORD and I have been ignoring these as Jubilee Propaganda. Then there was talk of Kalonzo doing a last minute Melon change which he was forced to deny in Garissa. But I have just watched the 4 o'clock news and they were covering the political push in Kitui and it was very strange how the public interviewed were responding: 1st Respondent: Huku tunachagua watu si chama 2nd Respondent: Hapa tutachagua Musila na (wiper guy) and he stopped there 3rd Respondent: Hii ni ngome ya jubilee Curiously no one is talking about the top seat and I wondered then if the 'muthoniwa' story is true. Perhaps I should dismiss this story having been pushed by NTV which some people here believe is the 'other' mouthpiece of Jubilee. But all I can say was that I was really surprised by the public reactions in Kitui!

I can tell you Alfred Mutua is already the new governor hapa na kura za Raila are overflowing. I have seen this sentiment in several places on social media so I know it is a concerted effort by a panicking Jubilee to try and wring away some votes to replace the Rift Valley folks who are deserting Jubilee in droves. Jubilee are also dropping leaflets in the hope that they will scare voters in Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa and other places. Thugs! Do not worry about Kalonzo or Wakamba... in fact Kalonzo was busy campaigning for CORD in Marsabit, Isiolo, Moyale which are now fully CORD zones. All will be evident on Monday!!! NTV has commissioned scientific opinion polls which they seem to be ignoring... and the main poll is only days away.

Kamale, You know better than this. If I went to Kiambu, it would not be impossible to get some guys who don't care about Uhuru Kenyatta. The same would happen to Raila in Siaya or Ruto in Eldoret. Truth be told Kalonzo is simply wiping the floor with Charity Ngilu the head of Jubilee in that area.

Do you know that TNA have a room full of paid people in Nairobi writing fake things on the internet? They have even managed to create an online gutter press to attack Raila and CORD, lakini wapi. Ati that is being digital. I am coming back from Ukambani which is fully CORD. Meanwhile here is Kalonzo Musyoka taking notes so that he can implement maneno fully when they take over... and is that arap Sang there?

RR I did not create the story and am reporting from media interviews of the locals in Kitui. Even in Machakos the story has been peddled that there is no way Mutus would back Raila and that he is encouraging people there to vote for Uhuru! True? I do not know but am sure the events of Monday will tell what the truth ultimately was. Agreed?

Onyango Oloo is the CEO of the party. He will be the Kamotho of the incoming government and therefore well taken care of. Back to the Kalonzo story, it is as intriguing as it can be and helps to put Kamale's arguments into perspective. Remember this is a revised list, he was not on the initial list. We have to ask ourselves why. After holding more than a dozen rallies all over the country, I think the man has come face-to-face with the reality. Having his name as number one on the list tells you that the man knows they are going nowhere, they will fall as early as Monday. He knows they are up against the titanic, yet they are trying to push it with their hands. I had the opportunity of listening to the man at Kapkatet last Friday and got the feeling that he had given up, but will simply play along and sanitize his name in the eyes of Raila supporters who unfairly blamed him for their man's failure to capture the coveted seat in '07. I wouldn't be surprised if as early as Wednesday next week, Wiper party will be charting a totally different path away from ODM. But then, one may want to ask, why did he refuse to be a majority leader under jubilee only to end up as a miserable nominated member of parliament?

So, Anyang' Nyong'o actually wasted his time going through the primaries since as the ODM CEO he was already assured of a nomination or "being taken care of" as you eloquently puts it!? Oh! Now I see like Saul after he became Paul on his way to......!! So, next week we expect a Kalonzo about-turn according to one MWALIMUMKUU OF JUKWAA? We shall be here my brother!!!

Feel sorry for Kalonzo , this is a man I really admired and if it wasnt for his association with Raila in 2005 till 2007 he would be riding his was pretty to the statehouse but then again he seems not to have learnt from his previous mistake. He will retire to political oblivion come Mar 04 ask Musikari Kombo.

Friday March 1, 2013 – We can now reveal that Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka on Monday this week called Jubilee supremos Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto, requesting them to offer him a slot in the Jubilee alliance. Credible sources indicate that Kalonzo, who is Raila Odinga’s running mate in CORD alliance, was irked by Trade Minister Moses Wetangula’s assertions last week that Raila Odinga will not share the government on 50-50 basis with Kalonzo Musyoka, if CORD wins the Monday poll. Sources said Kalonzo contacted Uhuru and Ruto who are now deliberating and weighing on the political implications (especially Ngilu) before getting back to him either today or tomorrow. Raila and Kalonzo had initially agreed on a 50-50 power sharing agreement, but with the entry of Wetangula, who is Ford Kenya’s party leader, the power sharing arithmetic changed. Kalonzo has been on record saying Ford Kenya should share the slots with ODM, since it is Raila Odinga who invited Wetangula. After the talks between Raila, Kalonzo and Wetangula hit a deadlock, Kalonzo is said to have called Uhuru and Ruto requesting to offer him a soft landing before Monday’s historic general election. To cement Kalonzo’s move, the VP has even gone to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) requesting to be included in the list of losers who will be nominated to parliament after March 4th. Political pundits and analysts have said Kalonzo Musyoka has realised the forced marriage hasn’t translated to support at home (Ukambani) - Since the Jubilee Alliance wave is sweeping the region. www.kenyan-post.com/2013/03/revealed-kalonzo-called-uhuru-and-ruto.html
