The voting exercise has thus far gone peacefully as we have all been urging and hoping for. We now expect the tallying being done and announced to be done consistent with the law and the will of the people who went to the polls to cast their vote. Until this process is complete, it would be imprudent to make any conclusions based on what is being provisionally reported. The best thing all of us can do while the process concludes is to be calm and for those who pray, let's pray for our country.

I knew Kenyatta was going to give a good showing and so far he's doing just that. Lots of CORD folks are shocked. The gap is worrimg for them and to make matters worse, it's increasing and not decreasing. Kiambu has only reported close to 400,000 of its registered 800,000. Nakuru has reported about 250k of their 700k. The gap between Raila and Uhuru is knocking towards the dreaded 1Million mark. I'm not sure how that will be reduced.
The only hope for Raila right now is Kakamega who're reporting 120k of the possible 560k. You and I know that imundu ku mundo are never enthusiastic about voting.
Mombasa also might help CORD they're reporting about 22k of their possible 400k.
Nairobi has already reported 0.6M of their 1.7 but Uhuru is trending at 47%.
Any where else?

Deyiengs the vote gap is now at above 690k between UK & Raila. That's a lot of daylight. All the provisional results so far posted have covered pretty much both of their strongholds & weak areas provisionally. The trend just keeps going in Uhuru's favour. The fat lady may have already sung on this one....
