Am I the only one who is "blind" and cannot see the photos?

It looks like the man was born to lead. The company he has kept since as a young man always pointed to greater things to come. He now has an opportunity of a lifetime to leave his mark on the country. He has no choice but to succeed where his predecessors failed.

The pictures are OK.
Please save and savour them.
I am not too sure about the alleged "divine right to rule" that apparently was bequethed on Uhuru on his birthday.

He now has an opportunity of a lifetime to leave his mark on the country. He has no choice but to succeed where his predecessors failed. This man was not born to lead anything, he was shoved into politics reluctantly. Born into a household name and with plenty of money to boot, the rest was easy. He has no track record of having done anything outstanding. Economically Kenya may surge ahead on paper, but the situation on the ground will remain the same, if not worsen because he is far removed from it. On a lighter note, these ties of Moi, a clown would pass them up as being distasteful!

Funny, but this Picture-Speak archive seems to read like a replay of a story 2000 years old. That of a childhood. Then at 12 years he is at a temple (which he calls his "father's house") and then comes a blackout where nothing is 'captured' about the man until he is 30 years when he gets 'baptized' by John the baptist and embarks on his ministry. I recall an inter-school rugby match at our high school, which I watched from a vantage point from the sideline terrace, as our school team boys would seek gratification in tackling the lanky St. Mary Rugby team winger sorely because of his Surname. I guess wherever these folks are now they can pride themselves that they had a go at "creaming" (terminology of a vicious tackle we used then) a future president. Kindly Nowayhaha, would appreciate if a photo of the future Prezy in Rugby kit, from your archive would be posted because (I witnessed ..nikama ndrama nikama vindeo) . And while at it surely you can find another with him in a graduation gown - this one has to be somewhere! Just for the record, for the believers, the Jesus story has a happy ending.

Audacity, you comment above led me to google in an attempt at filling in some gaps. Indeed a chunk in uhurus apparent formative years remain blank. Wiped off the slate ? Mmmhhhh. To be precise, the period spanning 1980 to 1989 is only recorded publicly in a single sentence: he attended amherst college where he studied political science and economics. Nothing else. Nada. Those of us, I am assuming quite a number in jukwaa, have attended tertiary and know that a picture/story or two exist somewhere, at least a graduation one, sorority or boys club etc. Such pictures or tales, good or bad are bound to surface when elected to a high profile position. Obama even had videos resurfacing. A friend or two would siffice with something !!!! Even his father and others rika yake have pics of their lives in europe...
The closest I found relating to his life at amherst is a daily nation article stating that amherst refused to comment on one of its alumni ascending to the highest office in kenya. They stayed mum. And I am not insinuating, just being curious. Maybe nowayhaha (nice historical pics by the way) could shed more light.

NowayHaha!
Noway you can get away with this, Ha-HA! That the pictures themselves are a darling is undeniable. But this is politics, and a honeymoon period, and you are way off the mark, highly provocative I think. You are being like Dennis Onyango, who can never quite give a FULL PICTURE. Allow me to explain.
THERE IS NO WILLIAM RUTO IN THESE PICTURES YOU HAVE RELEASED! Look at Mwalimumkuu crooning that Uhuru was bred to lead right from birth! Born to be a King! What does that make William Ruto now? Uhuru's servant, a mere dog and lackey, an orderly in UK's court!?
This is A CO-PRESIDENCY my friend! a 50/50! Identical twins from birth, and a conjoined monster of sorts. To post such darling photographs of one part, without the other, is PURE TREASON!
Or, like Stalin's pictures which later doctored out Leon Trotsky to oblivion, the erasure of William Ruto has started subtly? ;D
Omwenga says he is a monkey on the back of Uhuru! And Prof. Makau Mutua says there is too much Ruto in the presidency, a surgeion is needed! Are you NowayHaha just given us a hint. Here is the King. The rest we know not! ;D
