the 'SINKING' OF THE NARCOTICS PAYLOAD AND SHIP: Which game Uhuru Kenyatta?
Mv Bushehr says an explosive goodbye to the surface, and heads for the deep!
First I was thinking this is one of those hilarious events best suited to a laid back quixotic wink! You know, like the normal presidential escort car which is not a limousine, but from the photos and model make, is actually a top of the range vehicle far above normal! --Unless the presidency of Kenya out does the parking lot of a Gulf Oil Princess!
Apparently our neighbour Museveni ordered for a limo, and the quick thinking Ugandans cut corners and loaned one from Kenya. And now no one wants to own up to their part in the deal. Sawa tu!
Then I started to think some more about THE PRESIDENT ORDERED THE DESTRUCTION OF THE CULPRIT SHIP.
Then the it hit me in its simplicity. The man had ordered the destruction of EVIDENCE. Simple. When evidence is destroyed, you know there is a game on. The Ship is a treasure trove of information. The forensic police department could spend a life time amusing themselves reconstructing the criminal history of the ship. Even swiping it with the latest techniques to discover if it had done time as a floating murder plant.
A lot of women do disappear between continents, and some are held in drug ships for entertainment until they expire in one way or another and are fed the sharks of the deeps.
But KABOOM! Muigai ordered this one down –without forensic clearance! The son of Jomo is of course a Kenyan politician and therefore a honourable man, and as President he is definitely above suspicion, but he acts so suspiciously he invites unnecessary scrutiny!
Does he have backers who have their reasons to want the ship down? And he Muigai, like all politicians must pay his debts, and so KABOOM goes the order? There is a circulating list of Kenyan Mpigs, VIPs and associates who are talked of as drunk Kingpins. Now if I were a good cop, I would avoid investigating their political portfolio! Just like the cock and bull story of the explosives which refused to detonate, and the Bomb Disposal Squad had to go back to the ship to re-wire!
Bullsh!t! They went to secure mechandise! That payload was a whale of a lot of money to sink to the bottom! Guys gotta get paid.
Now, does the law allow the Kenyan President to destroy evidence like that, KABOOM!?
I assume the president must have consulted his cousin, the AG Githu, and Muigai like him. And the professor must have divined, it is illegal but you can get away with it, just like the Anglo-leasing dough you wired abroad for god knows what purposes!
Why again, are the use of these recreational drugs banned in Kenya? I do not seem to remember the actual reasoning.
actually this is a pre-historic sight! that is the opulence on show in a so called less than a dollar a day majority country!

The elaborate security arrangements began on Thursday evening after President Uhuru Kenyatta ordered the vessel and the 373.8kg haul of heroin scuttled. Scuttling is the act of deliberately sinking a ship by allowing water to flow into the hull.

MOMBAS, KENYA: A Mombasa court has criticised President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) for ordering unilateral destruction of a ship on which 370kg of heroin was found despite a court order.
The court complained that the President’s action amounted to destruction of credible exhibits, which were to be used in court.
Mombasa Chief Magistrate Maxwell Gacheru said there was a court order in place stopping the ship’s destruction adding that he is not sure if those who destroyed the ship complied with the law guiding such destruction.
“The vessel’s destruction is a big blow to the rule of law in Kenya and it was wrong,” said Gacheru, who lamented that the court did not supervise the destruction.

The incident prompted amusement on Twitter. Grace Natabaalo, a programme associate at the African Centre for Media Excellence in Kampala, tweeted: "In defence of Uganda's gvt; just because Kenyatta's vehicle was found in Uganda doesn't mean we stole it ;-)"
