Folks:
One or two people may have noticed my absence from this forum.
What happened?
Simple.
I have been unwell.
Since November 2016, I came down with a major illness.
I moved from Mombasa to Kirinyaga County where I have some family friends who also happen to be in laws.
I am sorry for the inconvenience in not performing my moderator/administrator role for such a long time.
But I am glad that old timers have kept the fires burning.

Jukwaa Administrator Dear Onyango Oloo, Pole sana, hope you are now vigorous in full again, and some vintage digitals in spe. I did notice your absence for one, but I kind of thought you had concluded things were quiet here, and as some of those expensive and acerbic tirades the likes of OtishOtish and Sadique used to engage in, no longer feature, you had submerged into a goat's hump, reasoning your moderation ---which actually was more often than not a guillotine intervention, wasn't called for. As you may notice, I have also evolved into long essays, having quit alcohol and bar-time, or to be more honest, having been ran out of the mpango wa kando market by MCA's! (that 300% raise some of our colleagues died for has not been affected yet, and stalled antic proboxes can not compete sleek new Toyota SUV's funded by devolution heists). And of course there is no longer Einstein to insult here! So I spend all my spare mental energies focused on main issues! Anyway be well!

Ndugu Oloo
I am pleased to know that you have passed through another test of being human. Pole kwa maradhi yaliyokupata. I hope to speak to you soon and wish you a good and swift recovery.
Jakaswanga
I have no words to describe your generous and exceptional resilience that you have demonstrated in preserving Jukwaa. My many thanks and appreciations for your efforts.
And yes, I do pop in every now and again, but I think I need to make my presence felt. It's been a long while.
I am also thankful to Narea wa Amadi, our precious sister and one of the old timers here in Jukwaa, kwa kunidokeza through my twitter account.
I hope and intend to set some time aside for Jukwaa in the coming days. Thank God we are still breathing, while many have gone.
I am pleased to be able to say hello again to my very familiar boma, sisters and brothers.
My special regards to ndugu Kamale and all the good people of Jukwaa.
See you soon, inshaallah.

Ndugu Oloo:
Very sorry to hear that. No doubt all "Jukwaaists" are happy to hear that you are now well and thriving in Kirinyaga.

OO,Sorry to know that you have been seriously unwell for such along time. I am happy to know that you are well again my brother and I underline and bold the word brother for the sake of those who do not understand what I mean. I have not been on Jukwaa for a long while now and hence never noticed your absence. Nevertheless, I am happy to know that the likes of Jakaswanga are still traumatised from the times of yore as a result of one Einstein whipping their miserable behinds when they could not understand some simple logic in a discussion!! Jeeez, I thought time heals!! Bro. Jakaswanga, as you can see Einstein is still in town to whip some sleepy and miserable behinds like yours! What are you gonna do now?
