Phil, As you will readily agree (if you can be honest), these statements make nonsense of the intelligence of Kenyans. I honestly did not expect such white lies from Raila's team. Such should be left to the likes of TIP, not ODM. I cant wait for Kabatesi to rip them apart. So far, he has shown that he is a very effective communicator and has the brains of a spokesperson that any presidential candidate would love to have. mwalimumkuu, Are you serious about this statementon Kabatesi???...."So far, he has shown that he is a very effective communicator and has the brains of a spokesperson that any presidential candidate would love to have." Was this the same man who publicly ridiculed a youth leader from Vihiga by the name Ben Ombima after he led other youths in issuing a statement? This is what your beloved Kabatesi had to say; ...."Who can believe what the youth led by Ombima say?" If that is not the highest degrere of arrogance, then I don't know what is. I guess "has the brains of a spokesperson that any presidential candidate would love to have." Move over Dr. Alfred Mutua. Here comes your replacement

Mr. OO, Did you type all these from the top of your head or did you have the list somewhere and you just lifted it? Its very impressive if you came up with that list on short notice. Never heard of some names before. Looks like you are not done so please continue. And please don't include Martha Karua

What annoyed me the most in this clip is towards the end when the cowardly GSU goons were interrogating the poor young boy and one of them shamelessly asked him "...Na mbona haulii na ume gongwa sana?" Yaani the GSU goon could not believe that the poor young boy was more brave than the whole lot of them combined. Shenzi kabisa

Some things are beginning to make sense to me now. A few months ago he was screeming on top of his lungs that the government should urgently resettle all IDPs. Never did he push that the government to facilitate the IDPs to return to their lands. Kumbe he had a hidden agenda

I have stated in the past that Ruto's team of legal experts are all quacks. Here he is again discussing matters pending in court in the press, in this case his latest land issue. This is not the first time he has taken pending court cases to the press. Can't his advisors advise him to fire his legal experts and looks for some more competent ones?? Well, with advisors like Kituny, Keter and the other Ruto, go figure. Bure kabisa.

Phil, You couldn't have put it better!!! Oh really, is that so?
Can you and/or Phil DEMONSTRATE to me why this is " a load of crap"Is Miguna lying?
Is Oloo backing up the lies?I take umbrage when people question my honesty and integrity. Some of you think it is particularly "courageous" to log in to Jukwaa under assumed names to launch unwarranted personal attacks on the very person who welcomed you and GUARANTEES your freedom of speech here in Jukwaa. Onyango Oloo Jukwaa AdministratorAnd who exactly is this who is "courageous" to log in to Jukwaa under assumed names

Oloo, This is a load of crap coming from Miguna. And unfortunatelty, it has made you lose a lot of marks in our eyes Jukwaa members. Unless you are working in cahoots with Miguna and have formed some kind of alliance, I see no reason for you to continue doing Miguna this 'favour'. As far as I can see, what the Weekly Citizen publishes, whether true or false, is between the publication and those who read it. Jukwaa has its exclusive membership and threads. One wonders, if Miguna can send you emails, then by all means he can directly post for himself at Jukwaa, the reach of the internet is limitless. By the way, why is Miguna not threatening a lawsuit like he once did to us here at Jukwaa for telling him the truth? Shameless hypocrite this Miguna fella is! Phil, You couldn't have put it better!!!

It is a good thing that Mudavadi has joined the race for the ODM ticket and that is healthy for the party. I like Mudavadi and I think he is a good guy. But on a serious note (and this is just my opinion) I think his candidacy for the ODM ticket is a sick joke.
Up until now, the only time you hear or see Mudavadi anywhere is either in Nairobi or his Mululu home or western backyard. Those are the only two places you would find him. The only time you see him attend an ODM rally is if the rally is held in western, and this is a fact. Now all of a sudden he is out and about touring other counties in the name of trying to seek votes from delegattes he had hitherto had no time for. Like I said, this is simply a sick joke, but it is his democratic right to seek nomination within the party

Im inclined to believe and agree with Mutahi that ICC is a political court due to the following reasons. - Muthaura’s case was pegged on General Ali and was supposed to collapse without it. ICC argued that Mathaura gave Ali orders to withdraw police protection giving Mungiki access and authority to go on the rampage. But since no evidence was found on General Ali, why was Muthaura’s case confirmed?
- Like Mutahi the balancing act is hard to understand; two from each party confirmed.
Cogency, While you rightly point out that to some extent Muthaura's case was pegged on Gen. Ali's case due to the alleged order to give mungiki protection, you conveniently omit the fact that Muthaura was confirmed mainly based on the meeting he had at State House with Uhuru, Kibaki and the mungiki gang. That was the basis of Muthaura's confirmation and the Judge said as much. Please forget about your selective amnesia.

Njiraini almost single handedly ensured that these fat-cat-greedy mps of ours complied with the provision of taxing their allowances amid all the threats and chest thumping. In one flash this brought in a whooping Ksh. 300 million. That alone, in my opinion, is a huge plus for Njiraini And where is the money? The M.Ps haven't paid a penny yet in taxes and Njiraini has been very silent on the alleged tax money from the M.Ps and so has been his boss Uhuru Kenyatta. It seems that was just a popularity hoax by Njiraini. The M.Ps still don't stillpayany taxes and may pay none when all is said and done. Is it any wonder Njiraini is Uhuru's choice. The elleged Kshs 300 million in taxes from M.Ps is nowhere to be seen. All hat and no cattle. Totally useless. Bure kabisa ama sio? Whether or not the tax money was actually paid is really not Njiraini's problem or duty. He dutifully played his part and others also need to play theirs. I am just giving credit where I think it is due.

This is what I call REAL POLITIK by the PM's office. In chess they would call it CHECK-MATE. Very smart move indeed by the PM's office. Let us now see if this Miguna guy has any moral fortitude to take up any appointment or assignement by the PM's office after calling the PM a conman and every other negative name under the sun. VERY SMART MOVE by the PM's office. There is absolutely no way Miguna can work for the PM in any capacity. He threw away the child with the bath water (I think that is how the saying goes)

I guess this Miguna guy has tones of money to waste. This appleal is going to be dismissed with costs. I only wish he saved whatever cash he has left. My advise to his attorneys is to make sure that they collect all their fees upfront, failure to which they will find themselves in another awkward battle with Miguna for non payment of fees.

@ Oloo,I had no choice but to withdraw my personal sympathy on Miguna. He showed exactly why he was suspended in the first place. I also declared myself Miguna's political enemy being he had suddenly seen things in ODM that he had previously not seen. Can you imagine how absurd it would look if Denis Onyango went to court demanding to be put on the same job group as Alfred Mutua ? Miguna saw nothing wrong with making similar demands. But this is a story for another day. . Phil, I am glad you finally realized, albeit very reluctantly, that Miguna had drifted way too far from where he was supposed to be. I remember when this whole fiasco started and I consistently pointed out Miguna for what he trully is, you were one the people who vigorously defended him and strongly dismissed me and at some point even called me some choice words (I think). I only wish that your friend Onyango Oloo will realize that there is really nothing to defend in this Miguna fiasco. I also noticed that many other hitherto staunch Miguna supporters have of late changed their minds.

[quote author=admin board=general thread=6268 post=84804 time=1324032372 Does Miguna deserve due process or not?
Is he entitled to a hearing so that he can defend himself against all these unsubstantiated accusations?
Should the courts and the public hear Miguna's side of the story?
Very regrettable.
Onyango Oloo Nairobi[/quote]
What due process?? Where was the due process when he was "appointed"? Due process is a term that has been used very loosely in this Miguna fiasco.
What other side of Miguna's story should the courts and Public hear??? Did he not penn countless articles about this fiasco?? Did he also not appear countless times on the so called bench of one Jeff Koinange where he talked about his "assassination"? So what other side of his story did he leave out on all these ocassions? Maybe Onyango Oloo can post them on this forum.

He should have taken the out of court option offered by the government! Some of us saw this ruling coming from 10 miles away and I have actually been vindicated because the judge used the same arguements that I raised during the earlier discussion (even to the point of being thrown out of the forum for pointing out Miguna for who he is). As for the out of court settlement, this came up after Miguna realized that the did not hav a case to begin with so he was looking for a fall back plan. I'm glad the government did not fall for that crap.

While everybody seems to be lauding this CJ everywhere I look, I tend to find him very uninspiring. That is just my opinion. I don't seem to understand why he always has to read his statements every time he gives one, even in situations that would warrant that he speaks off-the-cuff directly to the media.
Case in mind is when he toured the falling-apart Milimani Courts. When approached by the media in the middle of the tour he flashed his papers and started reading his statement and turning over the pages to keep on reading. This is a situation where he should have spoken to the media without reading. Like I said I find this very uninspiring from a Chief Justice. I would assume that speaking off-the-cuff would be a cup of tea for him considering that he came in straight from academia, then I remember that I have also gone through Professors who display their Power-Points in class and the proceed to read to us straight from the PP all in the name of a lecture. Very uninspiring indeed

Well, I have news for Olingo and Kenyans in general. We need not get tongue tied. Were Ms.Karua to win she'd be the First Lady. How hard was that? And get this, she'd still be president. How much fun is that? Can you handle it? "First Lady or First Gentleman is the unofficial title used in some countries for the spouse of an elected head of state" So if believe Martha will be elected as president of Kenya....she will not be the first lady. It is the man in her life (if any) who will be the first gentleman. Not to worry "english came by boat" Father Wamugunda??

To Foresight and Man:Please do not attach any mystical and coded inner, deeper and more profound meaning to the title of this thread. It is I, Onyango Oloo, who gave it that caption.I have retained Miguna's original title in the body of the article itself.Onyango Oloo Jukwaa Administrator OOAt least you changed the title after you realized that Miguna's title was not only misleading but it was also classless and ........never mind

Who designed that GREEN uniform? They would rather stick to the 'colonial' regalia :-) The colonial regalia looks 10 times better.

For the umpteent time, what is wrong with this Miguna Guy? Can't he just move on and leave the PM and ODM alone?? This is just the same old gabbage he has been recycling, only this this time he is sneaking it in by using a misleading title for the thread. The title of this thred and the bod are completely different topics. Any one reading the title of this thread must have had a sigh of relief that finally this guy was writing about something else until you go to the body and realize that it is the same old crap. Mr. Miguna please move on. No one is really interested. Never thought I would live to see the day Miguna's articles would be described as 'useless' on this forum. All because he differs with the PM? Makes one really wonder if this is the outfit you want to put in power. One that cant handle dissent and meets different opinions with stones and insults. There is no dissent in any of Miguna's articles against the PM. They are all emanating from some kind of anger that followed his dismisal from the PM's office. You can't be a sycophant all your life and then when you fall out with your Hero then all of a sudden that hero turns into lucifer overnight. And yet all the things that "lucifer" is now accused of all happened at the height of Miguna's Sycophancy. Any one who still takes this guy seriously should really evaluate themselves.
