you nailed it. also called juve behaviour and amazingly there are those cheering this from what i read, ruto and mudavadi could not alter that list without ruffling feathers in their own backyards put another way, the ODM list was all inclusive and well thought out, everything else is just chatter but for dramatic effect they picked on one name to make noise about. tut tut children ...... That was a good race, well run and won. Next on, the NHIF thieves. Mwalimumkuu,Are you so challenged that you cannot even post under the right thread? Do you need help?

Mwalimumkuu,Are you so challenged that you cannot even post under the right thread? Do you need help? Einstein,I have no problem seeking help. But you must demonstrate that you know how to read and make meaning of what you read. So go ahead and offer the help that you think I so badly need little Einstein.

www.kbc.co.ke/news.asp?nid=76733EALA Nominees:ODMNancy Abisai (ODM) – Vihiga (woman) Mumbi Ngaru (ODM) – Kiambu (woman) Judith Pareno (ODM) – Kajiado (woman) Joseph Kiangoi (ODM) – Nyamira (man) Abubakhar Zein Abubakhar (ODM) – Mombasa (man)PNUAbubakr Ogle (Narc-K) – Marsabit (man) Peter Mathuki (Wiper) – Machakos (man) Saoli Nkanae (PNU) – Kajiado (man) Sarah Bonaya (KANU) – Moyale (woman)Looking at the lists above, its pretty clear ODM's nominees reflect a balance in terms of region and gender - with a majority being women. Poor Ronald Ngeny! Ruto made sure Ngeny's name was shot down lest the Kipsigis interpreted this as a goodwill gesture from ODM & Raila. In such politics of self-destruction, Ruto would wish to control and chaperone all appointments of any Kalenjin - even as he stands on ICC's quicksand; sinking slowly.

On the ODM side the Rutavadi axis wanted to block off Ngeny and Odoyo to achieve exactly what you suggested.....and it would appear they succeeded! The PNU list does lack balance as two "easterners" managed to skeek through at the expense of central, nyanza and western! Even on the women front, how could they only manage one and she had been nominated by NARC where Karua belongs?

nice and its realization finally rather than bitterness but knowing ruto and his never ending bucket of deceit, watch out for his comeback on this

the eala nomination seems to have been a divisive issue across the border too. in uganda it got a little nastier when the opposition leader pictured below faced internal revolt led by the party's chief whip who went against expectation by fielding nominee. this calls for a review of the procedure for nominating and electing eala members.maybe, parliament merely endorsing the names as a formality (without amending or rejecting the list) after sponsoring parties adhere to stringent laws would suffice.
