here we go:
RAILA TO ADDRESS A RALLY IN KIBERA ON SUNDAY 5TH. AUG
Prime Minister Raila Odinga who is also the Orange Democratic Movement – ODM Party Leader will this Sunday 5th August 2012 hold a Public Rally at the Kamukunji Grounds in Kibera in his Lang’ata Constituency.
The rally will start at 2.pm. I guess he is going to rudisha mkono by initiating the new reloaded member Maina Njenga to the fledgling team.

. Phil, it is at these Kibera Rallies that Raila usually finds himself saying things that rattle or embarrass even his most diehard supporters. Please advice him to watch his tongue this time. He better steer clear of the Miguna book completely and not even mention it. Dr. Tom Odhiambo Department of Literature University of Nairobi who is RAO supporter damu na nyumbani advises ODM and RAO supporters need to read and re-read Peeling Back the Mask. He additionally said that since MM did not say who is better than RAO consider a couple who must have a child. The gynecology tells them that in the next ten years they cannot have a good child. However, if they must they will have only one child with bent bones, ugly and note perfect. So the good Dr. Tom Odhiambo is advising that if you are that couple get on and have the baby. Read and re-read Peeling Back the Mask so that you understand how many brocken bones (corruption), bent bones (nepotism) etc. your megalomaniac will have/be. RAO needs to discuss MM and JG, if more eloquent the non issues MM and JG raises, so that more effigies of MM and JG are burnt or better still those who share his blood type can hope for jobs in sirkal and vote enmass

He better steer clear of the Miguna book completely and not even mention it. Genius, the whole point of being a populist orator is to have the ability to read your crowd & go with the flow. You will have about as much luck limiting his off the cuff remarks as you would permanently securing the earthen dams at Budalangi. Something eventually spills over the top Actually Raila is the local MP. You notice that the rally will be at 2pm, which means in the morning, he will be attending church service, meeting CDF team and also engaging delegates. This is Raila's last term as MP for Langata and this rally will have interesting succession politics given the constituency is now divided in two, and there are tens of people lining up to succeed him. As one who has attended these Kamkunji rallies in the past, I can tell you that Raila get's lots of flack from these folks who tell him issues directly. At Kamkunji, he is no longer PM but one of them. Let's wait and see.

Mwalimumkuu, RAO is known to draw crowds in any part of the country, I bet he has in the past drawn huge crowds in your own backyard of Gusii Land and will continue to do so in months to come. I wonder how you'll term it when it happens. We consume ourselves with pettiness at the expense of real issues.

He's pissed off that Raila does draw those crowds and doesn't have to pay them to show up at his rallies. I see no sewer but i do see the ground in that picture. Also, as you imply, Raila and all Luos may like the red carpet but what do the rich from the opposing side like. Do they love $$ more than life itself? Yes is the answer.

Meanwhile I submitted my expression of interest for a seat in vihiga County. There was this gentleman from Kisumu running for Kisumu East who brought a 100 page bound thesis. Mine was a single page with a link to my website. So I asked the N E B guys whether my single page was fine and they said it was. The voters of Kisumu East are going to have to burn the midnight oil if this is a sign of things to come.

The man used one hundred pages to do what can be done wit hone page. Seems like Kisumu residents have quite some reading ahead of them.

What happened to ODM RELOADED? Something is cooking! Rumours has it that mama sibanduki has ruffled a lot of feathers. Just wondering. Any updates? morimax? nereah here. i guess what you should be asking for on behalf of odm bystanders is how come odm's competitors if they have earned the stripe, are hogging the limelight locally whenever agwambo is out of town? better still, you could frame the question: does orange house goes on holiday whenever agwambo is tirelessly serving this country abroad where he is connecting with our diaspora and what traction if any does the competitors gain? the answer is that east africa's most vibrant and formidable ideological political formation has atomised at the grassroots through odm mashinani. odm reloaded of my boy tawfiq ababu namwamba ;D and dada margaret wanjiru is stale news. talking of mama sibanduki instead of sibanduki na raila is in my view( as a odm follower) dragging us down the sewer. you may wish to check jukwaa's archive where our respected member had posted an alert from odm's secretariat clarifying on the lobby group including and not limited to sibanduki na raila and friends of raila. be informed that odm's work plan, strategic engagement model is not contingent upon nor driven by expectations of especially non-members who wish it nothing but the elusive disintegration. otherwise there are plenty of good news for kenyans yearning for genuine, comprehensive and sustainable reforms for this is the kenyan moment: raila-odinga.com/new/splash.php

I personally thought that ODM reloaded is(was) such a vibrant tool. At this point i'm thinking that with or without Jakom in +254 or busy serving Kenyans abroad, or rather selling ODM policies to the diaspora, other ODM organs should be vibrant locally and nationally in +254. upto about 4or 6 weeks ago ODM was palpable, with or without RAOs presence. What went wrong? I'm happy to hear that ODM has a work plan/strategic engagement model. I'm a true supporter of ODM, if you are an insider, reassure that there is no serious wrangles, of course i dont expect no wrangles in a party like ODM, and that some people are already drowning in power and money and like they care less about ODM supporters.

Both Hon Margaret Wanjiru and Hon Rachel Shebesh have returned to the country and reaffirmed their support for ODM and the Party Leader Raila Odinga. When you rely on gutter press for your updates, then you end up posting gutter in Jukwaa. I bid my time on this after I read the report in the Star newspaper alleging that Hon Kones was headed to URP, while Hon Wanjiru had effectively defected to TNA after accompanying some TNA officials down south. It has now emerged that all that was sensational reporting aimed at increasing the newsprint's daily sales index.

It is an open secret that Wanjiru has never been happy ever since Aladwa was impossed on Nairobians ostensibly to check Musalia's infuence. Shebesh on the other hand has her wars with Mama Ida and chances are that after mama declared that habanduki, Rachael has decided to count her losses and take off. For Laboso just like Magerer and Bett, URP has never allowed them to breath easy and will take the earliest chance to banduka from the stalled wagon.

Wrangles in political parties are like pregnancy, you can hide it but eventually it must pop out wakiti ikifika!! With that said, some our journalists are also useless and full of crap. I've heard situations where journalists would demand kitu kidogo in order to write "friendly news" otherwise wanakuchoma na maandiko zao. S o what do I believe on this ODM women wrangles?...

This is just a tip of the iceberg, the differences in this party run deeper than anyone wants to talk about here. Na bado, as Raiswakesho said, the next two months will be very interesting, for ODM, they will actually be calamitous. Thats what happens when one builds a political house on lies, favoritism and vendetta.

Ida should stop meddling into the affairs of ODM party and know that its her husband who stand to lose if she continue showing these stupid traits of wanting to monopolize her husbands campaign. Its things like these one which sometime make it very hard to support people when they show insensitivity to what others feel.
If Raila Odinga can not bring his house in order then he might as well kiss his ambition goodbye. I am just sick and tired of dealing with sick things like what Ida wants. She either accept to be the spouse to a presidential candidate and support his bid by building and creating more bridges rather than what she seem to be doing right now. To Rila i say "Get rid of Ida, Midiwo and other hang-ons who are now beggining to suffocate your campaign. Ida has only one vote and you need more than that to be elected president"
