Bwana Mwalimumkuu, Just listened to two videos, one featuring Uhuru, another Mudavadi. Musalia has now gone public on an alleged MOU, accusing Uhuru in effect of reneging on a promise! And without any form of self-awareness nor criticism nor reflection, he seems irked, yet he walked out of a signed deal with Peter Kenneth at the last moment, switching even his mobile off! There is a character flaw in this man which can only make him be the perfect political parasite! What next? I do not think the usefulness of useless characters like Musalia is expended in the political dispensation of Kenya, unfortunately. He therefore can only sink slow motion into oblivion. To be backed by the full power of an incumbent state counts for something. And he is backed. To me that is his only relevance! What a sordid creep he be! Jakaswanga,The poor fellow is down, let us spare him further kicks if only for humanitarian reasons. That aside, I have been looking at the laws he has helped author in the various ministries he has headed since his KANU days to the more recent devolution laws and got convinced that the guy is very good on matters governance. The only problem with MM is, he is not a politician. That is why hardcore politicians take advantage of him in the manner that we just witnessed.

To be backed by the full power of an incumbent state counts for something. And he is backed. To me that is his only relevance! What a sordid creep he be! A little story: One saturday night, a few months ago, the Higher Powers and the kids left me alone at home while they went to the movies or something. That doesn't happen very often; so I immediately set to some beer and re-runs of The Godfather. Finally, Lord of The Manor gets to be the Lord of the Manor! When they got home, fairly late, I was reminded that I needed to walk the dog (that's the "Rex" on DC), and I got to it, thus being useful while at the same time setting a good example for the kids. Halfway around the block, a Call Of Nature came. Figuring that everyone was either in bed or out for the night, I went to the far end of the driveway of the nearest house and started to get on with it and was getting on with it .... when, lo and behold! (or something) the owners decided to arrive back home. So, there I was---No. 1 in my right hand, dog-chain in my left hand, and "full" headlights on all. What does one do in such circumstances? I decided to stand on my dignity---finished my business and walked way with a "how dare you shine all those lights on us?" look. I felt OK with that. The dog too seemed to feel OK with that. In all things, small and big, dignity is important. And so here's the advice I'd give Deputy Prime Minister Mudavadi: At the end of the day, all you'll be left with in your hands is your No. 1. So fight. Expose all (pun *not* intended), ... Conduct yourself in such a way that you will at least walk away with some dignity.

Hold off a minute: Rumour has it Uhuru just met Mudavadi at his Riverside Drive house with a different officer " make sure he loses the delegate elections " it is called "rigging himself out" so that Mudavadi can sail through to clutch the Presidential ticket.. saving face for both of them.. Question then becomes will Uhuru's delegate base accept the results?? time will tell ;D

Now that it is emerging that UhuRuto are going on with the plan of picking their candidate with or without Mudavadi's participation, www.nation.co.ke/News/politics/Uhuru-Ruto-move-to-pick-flag-bearer/-/1064/1648794/-/o3b7vs/-/index.htmlmy advice to Mudavadi remains, if he is not the candidate, he should head to Kakamega as early as this weekend and explain to his constituency why this time round they must rally around him. The coalition making in this election must serve as a lesson to the western block that, if they cannot stand together, their numerical strength will count for nothing. Otherwise defecting to CORD to play a second fiddle with no any guarantee of winning this election is worse than any other option available to them.

Mwalimu,
You seem to belong to a group of folks who believe that each region ought to rally behind one of their own but brother I hate to tell you that it's not that simple. Hon. Mudavadi didn't have the majority of the luhya community behind him when he was a UDF candidate, they never followed him to Jubilee and he won't have a majority of Luhya even if he pulls out of Jubilee and run for the presidency. I can comfortably predict that he's lost a good number of western support as a result of the Jubilee mess. Folks won't run to him because of sympathy, he chose to gamble by looking for an easy route and he'll sure reap what he sow.
CORD is safe and sound in Western Kenya! Hon. Mudavadi has become a suspect of dark forces and no party should welcome him, let him front his candidacy na watu wakutane kwa debe.
Lastly, you have dodged one simple question I've posed to you earlier. Who exactly is your candidate? I thought you were rooting for Mudavadi but I read in some of your post that you only pledge a moral support! Should I assume that you are back to where you were in 2002?

Rais, Mudavadi has a case, a very strong case at that. The process of building coalitions in the run up to this election has exposed the weaknesses of the Luhya nation, their lack of sense of purpose. No any serious contender has so far taken them seriously. Mudavadi, the only credible presidential candidate from that end, must start today educating his people, it takes a leadership to reach such ends and Mudavadi has been gifted with that opportunity. He must grab it and run. That is why he should leave the citizen TV studios and head to Kakamega immediately.

Mwalimu,
He hasn't been able to do it for the last how many years... 2 months won't make a difference! The only option he has right now is to unleash all the powers of the 'devil' and the forces of darkness onto Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta until he gets the presidential ticket, he'll be cooked if fails to achieve it! Merry xmas my friend!

Mudavadi has been trying to punch way above his proper weight division; he forgot that he's dealing with "world-class" criminals, being tried by the highest criminal court in the known universe. End of the road for Mudumbadi.
Next is Ruto. The Owners of Kenya will inevitably hand Uhuru a huge knife and a map with directions to Ruto's back. The only questions are when, where, and how.
As mzee would say, kazi iendelee.

Unlike the central Block vote..behind Uhuru the anointed one by Gema. Mudavadi does not have and has never had a Luhya blocked vote.. whomever is giving you such propaganda is truly in big denial.. I suggest the allow Uhuru and Mudavadi to exorcise the Demons among them and forge forward.. Let Uhuru hand Mudavadi the presidency ticket he promised.. Ruto did shed some light on the issue at hand.. that Uhuru was promised some "big" thing if he handed his presidency to Mudavadi by the Statehouse Gang? What was the "Big" thing Promised? the only Big thing Uhuru needs at the Moment is for his case to be removed from ICC... what other big thing did Statehouse gang Promise Uhuru? and after he signed off his Presidency ticket to their Protégé they then turned back and refused to deliver? that is the question on most Kenyans mind!!!! www.nation.co.ke/News/politics/Uhuru-Ruto-move-to-pick-flag-bearer/-/1064/1648794/-/o3b7vs/-/index.html

Mudavadi leaves Jubilee coalition What more proof does one need that Mudavadi was and still is a Statehouse Project? How else can he go to Central province without support from Uhuru"TNT" the Rally was supposed attended by the 4 Jubilee leaders Uhuru"TNT",Ruto, Mudavadi and Ngilu.. a memo ws send out to Media on Thursday cancelling the Nyeri Rally from "TNT"... but it come out that it was not "TNT" which was organizing the Nyeri Rally but Musalia's UDF's Party.. I guess Statehouse is still reeling in Shock planning its next Move.. State-House to Peter Kenneth" Move Over.. Our protégé must run for presidency through your coalition party or else" ;D ;D the devils have arrived on Kenneth, Wamalwa & Tuju's door..

Poor Mudavadi is exactly where I predicted he would find himself - ALONE!
After being played by several people, Mudavadi must go back to his community and ask them to give him a vote to keep his hopes alive of being king maker in the event of a run off (highly unlikely!). His biggest problem will be who he would ask his followers to support especially when you consider that both parties have actually screwed him in the run up to the elections!
Which at the end of the tribal based politics today, you must feel sorry for the Luhyia when they end up splitting themselves into small votes that give the community very little lee way in determining how their country goes!

If you and your central province buddies had checked the Mudavadi's past political history.. even with the help of the Statehouse $$$$ machinery it wasn't going to work ;D Uhuruto and Statehouse gang played him for a fool from the beginning.. they played a soccer match using him.. But it didn't work.. Luhya land iko na wenyewe.. I guess central province has no clue and it will remain clueless on Western & Rift valley politics
