Professor: On matters development and attendant efforts, many parameters come into play. It is not enough to say that since county so and so is poor, it needs more and urgent development than county so and so. We have to look at the risk factors associated with such underdevelopment given the population make-up of the region viz another region, the comparative potential of the region to significantly contribute to the larger society etc (investability quotient). That is not to say however, we cannot invest in Turkana, but the fact that we have Turkana and Mandera cannot be a reason not to invest in Kisumu and Nairobi. ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ case for Turkana where health case that is neglected bags NTV Enock Sikolia the CNN Journalist award. he urges PORK to take action..since Kibra NYS youth activities have waned why not follow up where suffering is unbearable

[My understanding of the view at the top is that if they have managed to wait for 7+ years, then surely they can afford to wait a bit longer while the country struggles to get Brother Samoei off the hook. Or maybe they are supposed to accept and move on? But is this idea just myth and illusion for the lower classes? Edmond Burke argued that myth and illusion is necessary to keep the lower classes content with their meager lives, and to convince them to not go against traditional ways. gameofroles.wordpress.com/2011/12/13/the-american-dream-myth-and-illusion/GEMA and Kalenjin elites are trading the myth that jailing Ruto will result in dire consequences for Kenyans (rad Kalenjin and GEMA elites now in charge of Jubilee). read one of their own advance the case www.nation.co.ke/oped/Opinion/Jailing-Ruto-at-The-Hague-would-be-a-disaster/-/440808/2907920/-/o18cdq/-/index.htmlJM, Tom Mboya, Robert Ouko, etc and a plethora of other Kenyans have been killed, leave alone being jailed and did Kenya have a disaster. I want to say without any fear of contradiction that these are issues we have pondered about as a nation and come to the realization that ICC is more dangerous to the country than anything else. Even CORD, has admitted as much but have in my opinion lacked the courage to go the extra mile and do the right thing. It is now known to everybody and accepted across the length and breadth of the country that, it cannot be said that the madness we witnessed from Mombasa to Eldoret, Kisumu to Kericho and Nairobi to Kakamega were masterminded and sponsored by Jushau Arap Sang and William Samoei Arap Ruto. That is why ICC should not be allowed to mess up our country in the name of justice. Look at Iraq, Syria, Libya etc where western intervention has been allowed to happen. I am sure we do not want to visit such sorry events on our country. It is high time we all went to the shrine and spoke the truth. CORD and Raila in particular should find the courage to confess what they did, we speak in one voice and bring these back home in one piece and peace. ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ in 2012 The ICC is currently working on seven open cases in Sudan, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, Kenya, the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and Libya, with many more situations being monitored for possible further indictments. It took many years of law evolution, and a series of horrendous events to justify establishment of an international criminal court, however, based on the support it received, not only at the Rome Conference, but also the continued ratification by nations, it is evident that the need for the court is considered important by many nations. www.internationalpolicydigest.org/2012/03/23/international-criminal-court-successes-and-failures-of-the-past-and-goals-for-the-future/is it not nice that Uganda's M7 cannot become an Amin Dada and 'enjoy' those status now even as he continues running term after term after term? look at the South Sudan dividend that would not have been possible if Bashir was not check mated to visiting select African and Asian countries only otherwise Darfur would have degenerated and he would be attending UNGA with head held high. now like a rat he must do other things when fellow heads of state head to New York. do we have a new emperor Bokasa in Central Africa Republic? who wishes to reincarnate the cannibal? close home in Kenya, neither UhuRuto pair or anyone who will come after the duo will attempt to be a Mo1 or Kenyatta and pile us with unresolved murders of the likes we witnessed in Mo1 and Kenyatta hayati time. ICC is good if you emulate Tanzania, Botswana, Ghana, and other shining examples emerging in Africa but bad if you would like to return Idi Amin, Bokasa, Mobutu and other terrible 'big' men we had it would have been better sport if both Kenyatta (Muthaura and Ali) and Ruto (Sanga and Kosgey) trials had continued so that we see if it should also take in Kibaki and Raila so that like Ghana when Rawlings returned the 2nd time we get new local players in our political field and sweep away the foregoing. Fatou Bensouda, the chief prosecutor of the ICC, who is Gambian, has argued that the ICC is helping Africa by its prosecutions of criminals. "The ICC is working with Africa, and working for African victims, so I don't think the African Union should be against that," she said. www.bbc.com/news/world-11809908ICC is helping Africa by its prosecutions of criminals.

There is no doubt that witnesses were procured to fix people at the ICC and it is clear that this was done by both PNU and ODM so no one should be claiming they are clean. The danger I see with all this name pointing is what it portends to rulings by the ICC especially when people start taking sides. The accusation in the Ruto case is not about what Kuria under the guise of PNU did, but perhaps the perceived silence or lack of support by ODM on behalf of Ruto. The letter to the UN by ODM is said to be proof of ODM conspiracy to drag Ruto under the bus. Have we considered the impact of this name pointing in the event Ruto was convicted on national peace? Exchange over ICC cases is a waste of time and does not help poor Kenyans www.nation.co.ke/oped/Letters/Exchange-over-ICC-cases-is-a-waste-of-time/-/440806/2905384/-/vak32jz/-/index.htmlso for non Kikuyus and non Kalenjins life will just move on. Jubilee was never their cake so they have nothing to eat or cry over. if we decide as a people on a local tribunal it would be nice and very good if we take a leaf from Germany after the end of their wars with their neighbors. Held for the purpose of bringing Nazi war criminals to justice, the Nuremberg trials were a series of 13 trials carried out in Nuremberg, Germany, between 1945 and 1949. The defendants, who included Nazi Party officials and high-ranking military officers along with German industrialists, lawyers and doctors, were indicted on such charges as crimes against peace and crimes against humanity. Nazi leader Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) committed suicide and was never brought to trial. Although the legal justifications for the trials and their procedural innovations were controversial at the time, the Nuremberg trials are now regarded as a milestone toward the establishment of a permanent international court, and an important precedent for dealing with later instances of genocide and other crimes against humanity. www.history.com/topics/world-war-ii/nuremberg-trialsthis will see the likes of those who did 'smaller' crimes like rape, arson, looting etc. brought to book locally and that can be a good lesson for the foot soldiers never to repeat 2007/2008 type of post election violence. ICC is very good for the 'big' boys as Kenyatta and Ruto in Jubilee and Raila, Kalonzo and Wetangula in CORD must continue living knowing that they cannot pretend Eldoret Kiambaa church burning, the police shooting residents in Kisumu, Kakamega etc. and Naivasha families burnt in single rooms, slashed along the highways after being dragged from vehicles, the Mathari, Kibera etc slum killings can be done in their names and they ride the wave. One thing is clear though; whatever the falsity or accuracy of claims about Mr Kenyatta and Mr Ruto; they were never the best of friends anyway and nothing can change that; not even the eagerness with which the defenders of Mr Ruto and Mr Sang have roped in comedians and clowns to go and stage their brand-made-in-Kenya politics in The Hague courtroom and other theatres that may be willing to take the free shows. Otishotish, Do you mean to ask who made the decision Ruto should be fixed? --Because we always knew the names of the agents ( Gitau, Karua, Tarus, Iringo. But I assume these are arrand girls and boys, and they were operating at a level below decision-making. I have heard this interesting story: Former DGI Gichangi ruffled alot of feathers from his hometurf. He did not want his outfit, NSIS, involved in fixing popular politicians. In fact he refused in official capacity. Then Mwai Kibaki agreed with him that it would be a 'stupid episode' to so 'partisanly engage' the national intelligence service! People like Francis Kimemia did not forgive him. That is how I explain his later dismissal in humiliating circumstances. The home boys never forgave his disloyalty. But I will bet my d.ick. professor Nick Wanjohi will know who gave the order to fix Ruto.there is a site that GoK has tried to get the hosts said to be in Italy, close but it is still operating and has this headline."ODM: Here Are The Real Faces That Fixed Ruto At The ICC" tuko.co.ke/49410-odm-here-are-the-real-faces-that-fixed-ruto-at-the-icc.htmlthose two Principal Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government Mutea Iringo. ODM has called for the prosecution of the President's senior political advisor claiming she procured false witnesses against the DP and a journalist. Jalloh added that the AU wishes to make observations on whether Rule 68, as amended by the Assembly of State Parties, can be applied without hurting the rights of the accused. "The AU should be afforded the opportunity to proffer contextual information on the debate and resolutions of the November 2013 ASP pertaining to Rule 68," he said. When Moses Kuria started the now famous confessions, many thought he was he was mad and called him all kinds of names. But with each passing day, it is becoming ever so clear that we are a nation that needs to speak to and with itself. In my opinion, what is happening now, is what the TJRC failed to do, largely because it was hijacked by the same elements who messed up the ICC process (read, the evil society), individuals, who if any proper audit was to be done, will be found to have had a thing or two to do with the 'fixing' of the ICC individuals. Personally, I was hoping that Martha Karua and particularly Raila Odinga would take the opportunity and cleanse themselves. Listening and watching to them, I am compelled to believe that Moses Kuria has started something that is leading us somewhere. He might have done it in the crudest of ways, but finally, people will talk. ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ snippets from Citizen after 9 pm news when 3 (Senator Murkomen, mPig Millie Odhiambo and Prof Kisiangani) had a take on ICC and ongoing reactions to the red high light Murkomen challenged RAO to write to ICC to withdraw the initial letter Anyang Nyongo wrote to ICC. Ruto and Sang are in great pain he says and wears a forlorn look to act as if the pain is also his. we should not have the kinds of mPig Millie turning this very serious debate into a pedestrian exchange. Millie Odhiambo says we stop the propaganda and lies which this time round they (CORD) will not let Jubilee repeat again and again like the time leading to 2013 election when many Kenyans from the other ethnicities still suffer from the scars of post election violence. quotes an example of a Homa County amputee who is now going blind as he seeks kshs 10,000 to start some business to sustain his wasted life. those are the kind of people Murkomen and fellow choir members should be praying for. this debate is irrelevant says Prof. Kisiangani. what local processes has Jubilee as ruling party put in place to take care of post election violence victims instead of suffocating us with 2 individuals imagined woes at the Hague? if you say Ruto was fixed who fixed Sang? who fixed Kenyatta, Ali and Muthaura? we are not going anywhere with the debate of who fixed who. however if the intention is to destroy Kenya then neither Murkomen and his Jubilee brigade or Millie and CORD will be spared however much money they may have. healing and reconciliation will not come by Jubilee moving in Kalenjin and Kikuyu strongholds pretending they are praying while in reality they are polarizing Kenyans. going pedestrian as if ICC is a fish market is laughable for a lawyer of Murkomen's calibre Mlllie charges. she feels ashamed that Murkomen can say they were duped and that they did not know ICC would turn out to be what they are witnessing now. people who should be feeling pain should be RAO and Millie plus ODM brigade says Murkomen. instead of moving towards people who caused the violence we were duped to accept ICC cries Murkomen Prof says healing and reconciliation with 2017 elections. there is nothing we can do but allow the court process at ICC to go to an end. this blame game, between CORD and Jubilee. do not pray only for 2 Kenyans but also for the victims for example the people shot in Kisumu, the Kiambaa church survivors, the Naivasha victims. the dead, alive and all victims should be prayed for not only 2 Kenyans Murkomen wants ICC cases closed. Ruto and Sang should be left alone to heal from the pain of having been fixed. says Kibaki came out clearly and exonerated Kenyatta, Ali and Muthaura from the accusation of crimes against humanity. RAO should also come out and do a Kibaki act on Ruto and Sang. now that both Jubilee and CORD are saing Ruto was fixed, it is a great development. Kalenjins will never fight again with Kikuyus vowing the two will stay together come rain come sunshine. Millie encourages Murkomen to calm down so that the country moves forward. stop the propaganda pretending you are praying as even her she is saved. we are more than 2 tribes. so do not reduce us to debating Kikuyus and Kalenjins as if that is the whole of Kenya

[ The only difference between the first and second pressers by Waiguru is that in the former she denied that any money was lost while in the latter she says indeed some money had been stolen. We need to remember that her initial reaction was based on the information available then. The thinking at that time was that the theft had been detected before it really happened, but she went ahead and brought in investigators at her own volition. Upon completion of investigation, it became apparent that some money had already been stolen before the detection she spoke about earlier. As soon as the investigators were done with their work and handed her their findings, she honestly came to us and told us so and even named the fellows suspected to be behind the racket. How then does she become culpable? Is it for the mere fact that other CSs have stepped aside? Is it because she outsmarted Kaitany? Or is it because she has brought development to Kibera and Kisumu and employment to their youths? ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ careful on term use otherwise you will return us to Nyayo era when maisha mazuri meant sucking his d*ck and kissing his ass, so now you want us to ....Waiguru? "Development is more than just the acquisition of industries But include such ideals of modernization as. Rise in productivity , Social and economic equalization , Modern technical know-how . Improved institutions and attitudes as well as rationally coordinated policy apparatus." www.nairaland.com/2264210/politics-development-underdevelopmentM.D Little. In his book , economic development , he forcefully argues that industrialization and the removal of poverty are not enough to stimulate development . In his view "getting the prices right" is one of the salient policies that could enhance development . He further contends that beyond the elimination of price distortions. Development and growth could be stimulated if the following innovations are introduced . Firstly, "inward-oriented strategies of development must give way to liberalization and export promotion. Secondly , inflation must submit to stabilization programmes. And thirdly, state-owned enterprises should be privatized." returning to history i.e. the past Walter Rodney who encapsulated Marxist expositions on development noted that: "Development in Human society is a many sided process. At the Level for individual, it implies increased skill and capacity , greater freedom, creativity ,self discipline , responsibility and material well being... At the level of social groups , it implies an increasing capacity to regulate both internal and external relations... In the past , development has always meant the increase in the ability to guard the independence of the social group." The marxists view development at three broad levels. These are the individual level, social group level, and mode of production level. At the individual level, human beings are seen as the epicenter of development. Therefore human development is seen as a prerequisite for real development. In line with this reasoning ,development as the individual level implies mental and academic sophistication. moral rectitudes as well as material well being. It is contended that the acquisition of this aspect of development will inevitably catapult the society to the frontiers of genuine development and thus explode the shells of backwardness. For instance , the development of man will lead to increase in productivity, ability to harness the forces of nature and capacity for man to eke out a living In the face of harsh natural forces .it must be noted that this process is not influenced much by increase in capital or the rise in GNP. In view of this , the radical scholars forcefully maintain that the first step towards development is the overall improvement of man who is expected to be the harbinger of transformation and change. With respect to how man can be developed in order to serve as the vanguard of society's development , some marxist scholars advocate: -i) Free , compulsory and universal education; -ii ) Improvement of the general education, cultural and technical training of the working population; -iii) improvement of people's health and extending their active life through a system of universal health checks in the polyclinics and sanatotriums; and -v) ensuring that the level and structures of consumption of material, social and spiritual goods and services are raised. It is assumed that if the above conditions are met, the aims of forming a well-rounded individual and creating the conditions for the full flowering of the individual and creating the conditions for the full flowering of the individual capabilities and endowments for the benefit of the society , as a whole , will be attained. having set the background of my take on development let us refer to "The Spatial Dimensions of Well-Being in Kenya" a product of Kenya National Bureau of Statistics released in June 2015. Nairobi has a mountain of county poverty of around 22% in the lower altitude areas ascending gently to middle county ranges with 56-77% (Kisumu is above at 40%) before raising steeply to the highest peaks in Mandera and Turkana counties (86% and 88%, respectively). if any county is yearning for development it is Turkana (as 47th in number and poorest), followed by Mandera, Wajir, Marsabit, Tana River, Samburu, Kwale, West Pokot, Isiolo, Makueni, Busia, Kitui, Garissa, Elgeyo Marakwet, Baringo, Kisii, Bomet, Nyamira (as 29th), Taita Taveta, Migori (as 27th and where you find sizable number of Luos), Kakamega, Homa Bay (as 25th where again you find predominantly Luos), Laikipia, Bungoma, Trans Mara, Narok, Tharaka Nithi, Nandi, Kisumu (as 17th where you find Luos)....., Siaya (as 13th where you find Luos), ....and Nairobi (as 1st where you find Luos in Kibera) so tell Waiguru to use the data available from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, an organization domiciled in her docket, and do the right thing. start her development efforts where great poverty exists i.e. Turkana (as 47th in number and poorest) county, followed by Mandera, Wajir, Marsabit, Tana River, Samburu, Kwale, West Pokot, Isiolo, Makueni, Busia, Kitui, Garissa, Elgeyo Marakwet, Baringo, Kisii, Bomet, Nyamira (as 29th), Taita Taveta, Migori (as 27th and where you find sizable number of Luos),.....

if both Uhuru and Raila were nor raised by comprador parents they would be lumpens.p no, they would not necessarily be lumpems, that would require we subscribe to immutable bio-determinism. In human class inheritance, we allow for social divergence, even in iron-cast caste-forged India. NB. But of course there is also the classification of the comprador elite as a 'lumpem bourgeoisie', which is to say Raila and Uhuru have stunted, unable to smash through the narrow confines of their class at birth. He embraced the denizens of the past and herded them into a fusion that has today refused to give way for him. By his own hand, Raila handed the prophesied future where he would preside, to a reincarnation of the past. He calls himself a bridge between the past of his father, his peers’ present and the future. However, that bridge incredibly symbolises the emulation of himself as an enigma; he is stuck in the middle of that bridge. Twice he has come close to crossing the bridge, but twice he has been restrained by haunted kindred of the old order. In 2002, he ditched then President Moi preferring Opposition leader Mwai Kibaki. Fast forward to Sossion and KNUT, all this seem to have escaped them. They are busy turning and reducing the noble profession to a commercial venture. They no longer care about the type of learners we are pushing through the system. Quality to them is a no go, they don't give a hoot to whether the parent and the nation are happy with what they children are going through in school. All they care about is the teacher competing with the next MP or MCA on the type of car they can drive, the kind of house they can own and the number of wives they can marry. This to me is taking away the color and respect the teaching profession has had over the years. Professor:One of the courts has spoken, by ordering teachers to resume duties as their matter is being 'looked into'. What does this mean? That the innocent children being punished by teachers and their union for no any apparent reason will be back in school in a couple of days, and normal schedule will resume. If teachers refuse to go back, the government will have even a better reason to fire them.In the meantime, there are two cases still ongoing. One by KNUT on need for the courts to compel TSC and ministry of education to pay teachers their salaries as ordered earlier, and another by TSC and SRC on usurpation of their powers by the courts. KNUT has already expressed desire to withdraw from the latter case promoting judges to accept adjournment of sittings as per their request. As you can see, whereas the government retains a number of options including the wildest of the wild cards, teachers through KNUT have boxed themselves in. They either go back to work or lose jobs. While all these pieces are moving as they are, your friends in CORD are still trying to figure out what really happened to them at Uhuru Park. One of them was heard saying at the press conference that the Waiguru curse was hovering over their heads like an eagle that had spotted a lonely chick in a chicken-mesh (it was on a lighter note, but the more you think about it and the happenings at Uhuru Park, the more you appreciate the possibility of it being true). ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ Knut's take Kuppet's take versus GoK take 'In a statement to newsrooms on Monday, Education PS Belio Kipsang said the schools will close on November 20. "No schools should levy any extra fees on parents in the pretext 0of covering costs associated with the pay dispute," Kipsang said. He said schools that had been closed will extend the term by a week and forego the half term break. "The remaining lost time will be recovered in the subsquent term of school calendar year 2016," he said, adding that the calendar will soon be released.' - See more at: www.the-star.co.ke/news/government-orders-schools-reopen-monday#sthash.sURiP7DQ.dpuf some nice end to an ugly incident

what is Jubilee going to do to alleviate the above? spare us CORD this or CORD that. it is Jubilee's watch. Professor:Yes, it is Jubilee's watch and its leader, Uhuru Kenyatta told you in black and white last Sunday that HAKUNA PESA, and that the little matter to do with teachers is being handled by relevant government agencies. Once the courts are done, TSC, SRC and the ministry will take over and finish whatever else that will be pending. Jubilee government has demonstrated that it will not run away from this problem, they will not take Uhuru Park shortcuts. They know that, it is courtesy of such shortcuts (beginning with Kalonzo, to Kibaki, to Raila) that we are where are with teachers right now. Jubilee wants to have peace in their 20 year rule, and focus on money generating programs such as SGR, Port, irrigation etc. It is in their interest to therefore take care of the current situation once and for all, and they will. If anything, our own secretary general Sossion told us of how Illinois teachers remained on strike for over eight months, we have done only three weeks so far. So mos mos professor, this will come to pass and everyone will be happy. Meanwhile don't put your money in that m-pesa thing launched at Uhuru Park, you will cry in the toilet my friend. If you think I am kidding, ask poor farmers of Kisumu who put their money in the molasses, they have never received even a dime in return, 20 years and counting, some have died poorer than mwalimu. ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ one of the 6 issues is what you call 'little matter....will come to pass and everyone will be happy'. and we will live happily ever after despite the likes of the gem dealer below doing a libel on PORK and Ni Ya Sweatie overworked CS. How it would have been nice to have her in Education as the CS.

Meanwhile, Martha Karua has moved to court over Hon Moses Kuria's linkage of her to ICC witness procurement. It is instructive to note that Martha is actually seeking a gag order for Kuria. She just does not want Kuria to continue giving too much information in the public, she would rather have it done behind closed doors of a court room where the public will not know the details. I sensed a problem with Karua the very first time she came out in the public over the matter. I indeed questioned her attack on DP Ruto instead of responding to Kuria directly. The drama just begun, mtego wa panya that is the ICC kangaroo. ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ listening to the above reminded me of 'better follow the dog owner than deal with the dog' as Moses Kuria is more of an attack dog and it is better to focus on the handlers. his brief is to assist in diverting attention of Kenyans from the more pressing issues like the "Teachers strike", thieving Waiguru getting preferential treatment from the likes of Chirchir, etc. is it not telling that PORK went to South Africa for 24 hours instead of New York where UNGA is happening? the wasting of our taxes on advance teams that return empty handed? aaah a new 'nice' development ntv.nation.co.ke/news/politics/-/2725580/2884656/-/b6wjo4z/-/index.htmlwhat is not known on who fixed Ruto to make it interesting now?

Professor:I do not hate CORD, but CORD hates itself. You only need to run clips from Uhuru Park and you will come to the sad conclusion that this is a rudderless group, no serious Kenyan will want to associate with them. How do you spend the whole afternoon 'talking' about teachers problems, only to be laughed out of town by everyone including mwalimus for a boyish approach, in full school uniform to very serious matters? They are a disgrace my friend, malt or no malt. In fact, I would forgive them if they were on malt at Uhuru Park. CORD thought they would take advantage of the teachers' misguided strike to con Kenyans of their little money like they did with Molasses, Kazi kwa Vijana and Mumias, but Kenyans read through the whole lie even before they left Uhuru Park. As you may already know, Raila, Kalonzo and Karua are all jobless. How then can a right thinking Kenyan including mwalimus send them money through an account they set up themselves and them alone will manage and have access to? One must be a fool to buy such crap. So as you can see, CORD being in the news is for all the wrong reasons. They are not gaining any mileage nor political traction, they are actually exposing and portraying themselves in very bad light. Teachers today, will listen to Jubilee more than they will listen to CORD, even those who might have thought that CORD had a better plan as government in waiting. If anything, for Jubilee Uhuru Park was a blessing, I am sure you know this. ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ and that is what should be focused on. it is Jubilee in power so wasting energy and time on CORD does not attract my attention too. as a fb book friend I have who also has your trait of avoiding criticizing the Jubilants told me on 10 points his most hilarious was No. 5 that reads '5. Take CORD's handling of the teachers strike. CORD hasnt provided any actionable solution to the strike. They could for example go to the people and convince them to sign a petition compelling the government to pay teachers and obey court order. A petition is protected in law and the government has to take action to discuss or even implement it.' why not pass actionables solutions to Jubilee that is in power instead of beating a 'dead' horse I keep wondering? maybe your aim is to pull wool over us by not pointing out the rifts between PORK and deputy PORK. alcoholic PORK. Waiguru thieving and not being made to step aside as Chirchir of chicken gate fame. in a nut shel diversion from the subject matter 'Kenyan teachers are effectively on strike'. it is week 4 and what magic is Jubilee coming up to get the 14M children back in school? teachers back in class? so that we can retrain our guns on Waiguru, alcoholic PORK, ICC on deputy PORK and all other matters not to do with "Kenyan teachers are effectively on strike"? 'Ordinarily, the teachers invigilate, supervise, and mark exams at all levels. At the secondary school level, they organise and make the preparations for practicals. Staying without being taught for a month is torturous enough, but having the exams without teachers is tragic.' www.nation.co.ke/oped/Editorial/End-this-stalemate-so-that-exams-can-go-on/-/440804/2883128/-/j6flugz/-/index.htmlwhat is Jubilee going to do to alleviate the above? spare us CORD this or CORD that. it is Jubilee's watch.

The Uhuru Park rally has just ended. If teachers expected anything from CORD, they must be a very disappointed group. Apart from the uniform drama, the rally turned into an Ann Waiguru bashing, calling Uhuru names and finally ended with the launching of a pay bill number to fund-raise for 2017 campaigns, all in the name of solidarity with teachers. ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ teachers do have KNUT and KUPPET. if things turn elephant there is COTU and all others, some listed here softkenya.com/information/trade-unions-in-kenya/ to expect anything i.e. moral support, etc. it does not make sense to turn 'Kenyan teachers are effectively on strike' heading into a CORD affair. CORD is using the opportunity of Jubilee doing badly to gain political mileage and that is clever of them, or you wanted them to be sycophants of PORK's behavior 'His lack of decisive leadership is being felt. His public erratic behavior and look might point to a lack of a work ethic, a common trait with alcoholics.' churches, in particular the catholics have made an offer www.nation.co.ke/news/Church-offers-mediate-in-pay-dispute/-/1056/2882280/-/1uvb9i/-/index.html expecting a similar offer from CORD would be strange as their business is to discredit Jubilee so that they may replace them not pamper them as the catholics are doing. and teachers may be expectant that the catholics offer is taken up by Jubilee government but it would really be strange if CORD clapped and supported the catholics. as long as the matter remains unsolved it would be wise for CORD to gain as much political mileage as they can and their points made at the just concluded rally point to that direction, 'all in the name of solidarity with teachers'. hate them, but give it to them, CORD is more in the news than Jubilee and its alcoholic PORK who is neither attending UNGA nor solving the teachers grave matter, but probably intoxicated with the single malt

Mwalimumkuu, hold on a minute. I caught the Ababu interview midway last night so I didn't know where he was jetting out to. You mean he's gone to UNGA?!!! With Uhuru Kenyatta?!!! Isn't he still ODM Secretary General? He's ditched the CORD brigade antics in the park to accompany El presidente after launching his motion? Very interesting... www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1023968084321744&set=a.655181994533690.1073741828.100001256850736&type=1&pnref=storypreaching water and drinking wine. I am willing to bet it is tax payers $$s used to fund PORK and Hon Ababu trip to USA. reminds me of the late 1990s when Hon Mudavadi, while Minister of Finance, would lead Kenya's delegation flying in similar fashion to sign debt negotiated while the World Bank/IMF counterparts they were going to sign deals with in Washington were flying economy.

Namwamba files motion on 50% pay cut for public officersAlthough a move in the right direction, one wonders why the good friend did not want to file a bill instead of a motion. It is clearly to any observer that this is one of those steps only meant to hoodwink the ignorant masses and boost credentials of the politician. All in all, we will see how the noisemakers will receive it in bunge. ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ I agree with you fully. below is how one Commonwealth country deals with bill and motion. Bills and motions are also treated differently by the House. Once debated and voted on, a motion has been disposed of by the House; the House may agree to the motion, or the motion may be defeated, but either way it receives no further consideration. Bills, on the other hand, must pass through several stages: introduction and first reading, second reading, committee stage, report stage, and third reading in the House of Commons, then a similar process in the Senate. The period between introducing a bill and seeing it become law may therefore be lengthy. www.parl.gc.ca/About/House/PracticalGuides/PrivateMembersBusiness/PG4PMB_Pg03-e.htmhowever the clincher is that In deciding between a bill and a motion, the first difference to keep in mind is in their effect. Since in agreeing to a motion expressing a resolution, the House is only stating an opinion, the government will not be bound to adopt a specific policy or course of action. By contrast, because it becomes law when passed by Parliament, a bill may have far reaching implications for both the government and the public.

In the meantime, the case has taken another turn, adding to what we've consistently opined here that, these cases were crafted to meet a certain predetermined end. Hon. Moses Kuria has sensationally alleged that him, Martha Karua and other including Raila Odinga and Nyong'o played a very active role in tilting the cases one way or the other. Martha Karua has denied vehemently that she was involved in any underhand dealings in as far as the Hague cases are concerned. She has even threatened to sue Kuria both in Kenya and at the ICC. If there is one thing we can take from this is, it takes right back to 2007/08 and reminds us exactly how the PEV happened and why it cannot be two people who should be held responsible for the madness of an entire nation. Here is Karua: Interesting times head for Njakip~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ “It would appear that Ruto’s prayers are getting answered and his real enemies are giving themselves up without being cajoled or coerced,”Raila said in a statement adding that he believes the ‘confessions’ will go on until the real “Prince” who has been executing tactics against Ruto is exposed. Raila wants Kuria charged for contravening both local and ICC laws against intent to mislead, making false statement, and fabricating evidence among others. Professor: I see you have been persuaded by the fertile imagination of one Boniface Mwangi, I leave it to you. Can we now go back to mwalimu issues? Teachers' case is still in court, the court will speak here in a few days, after which the government will act accordingly. The president has already drawn the line, and assured all and sundry that the government and other institutions involved have the will and the capability to act in the interest of mwanafunzi to solve this problem once and for all. We just need to be patient for another couple of days. ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ indeed let us forget the imagination of Boniface Mwangi, there are so many cases or is it a concluded one? today this appears on news "Learning in private schools was going on smoothly until a circular was issued last week Friday. Private school teachers have no issue with their employers and the children have no any reason to be away from their classes. The decision is illegal and (goes) against the rights of the private school owners and that of the children,” lawyer Muturi Kamande, for KPSA stated." standardmedia.co.ke/article/2000177101/high-court-suspends-order-on-private-schools-closureso you want me to believe the president and his army of advisors did not anticipate this embarrassment? or they will disobey by issuing a second circular closing the private schools with some twisted logic like in Somali children do not go to school? Knut is seeking to have the eight State officers jailed for disobeying court orders directing that teachers be paid a 50-60 percent pay rise. The case will be mentioned on Friday for further directions. www.nation.co.ke/news/TSC-defends-Lydia-Nzomo-in-contempt-suit/-/1056/2879566/-/1184eb/-/index.htmlthen there is this one "A failure to comply with our order will lead to an automatic collapse of the appeal filed by TSC,” the judges had ruled. Knut, in its application filed through lawyer John Mbaluto, has said the TSC should not be heard because it failed to comply with the orders issued on July 23. www.nation.co.ke/news/Knut-TSC-appeal-case/-/1056/2878518/-/5f6b2d/-/index.htmlor are these court cases products of fertile imaginations? lawyers must be the happiest people in all this matters hence some Kenyans are beginning to behave strangely or is it taking a leaf from PORK. “He wanted to know if the school had obeyed the president’s directive but I clearly told him it was a non-issue to us,” he said. www.nation.co.ke/counties/nakuru/Police-attack-arrest-journalist-in-Nakuru/-/1183314/2879526/-/r0ml4j/-/index.htmlfertile imagination in deed drawing blood

Professor: I don't know about lemonades and whiskey, the little I say about them the better. ~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ The people are saying that the president was a reluctant candidate who only ran for office to avoid the ICC. They’re saying that he loves his drink more than anything else. We, Kenyans, substitute the word alcoholism with “loves to drink”. Stories abound about our president’s drinking escapades; how official guests at State House are kept waiting as his handlers try to sober him up. Of the president showing up late at state functions reeking of alcohol. There are many more but l would rather not tell them all. His lack of decisive leadership is being felt. His public erratic behavior and look might point to a lack of a work ethic, a common trait with alcoholics.

Professor: The president has finally spoken. We can debate the accuracy of his 'facts' or lack thereof later. The message from him tonight was that, he has already laid ground for the hard decisions that have to be taken if it comes to that, and that, increasing teachers salaries is NOT one of those decisions. The ball is now in the court of KNUT and their political wing CORD.~~ Mwalimumkuu @nyumbakubwa ~~ 1st red high light 'Lack of honesty. When Uhuru was quoting salary comparisons between Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, he forgot to compare cost of living and systems of education in such nation. in fact Kenyan teachers working in Uganda and Tanzania , Burundi and Rwanda are paid far much better than in Kenya. most Kenyan private schools pay teachers far much better than Kenyan government. very good example is the peponi schools owned by Kenyatta family.' is what I read on a fb discussion of a passionate lady discussant. is PORK becoming an activist like the guys calling for a week of rage? or was he on lemonade to mask the 'fact' that he was drunk on single malt whisky and he half understood what he was reading? 2nd red high light "Do not look where you fell, but where you slipped."
