PM,
Good choice, (age, gender, battleground state location) but she too is a Senate newcomer, lacking both executive and foreign affairs experience.
Look out for such possible scenarios; - a woman - a governor (with executive experience) - older (a baby boomer) - from a battleground state - with modest background in foreign affairs
or
- a man - a governor - a Clinton supporter - baby boomer - with background in foreign affairs
or
- an independent or republican - older - with both executive/foreign experience (even a mayor)

Job Watching her on teevee, she is the type of choice to enhance Baracks main theme, CHANGE! She is a dark horse (for me) at the moment not a front runner per se. But you have narowed the qualifications of a veep candidate superbly

From al Jezeera Why Kentuckyians did not vote for Obama

Ofcourse McCaskill is not off the table, trust me. She might just be the Veep.
On the Kentucky clip, Wow! These Kentucky wazungu -the hard working Americans- according to Hillary, are an amazing lot. They do not even hide their prejudice on race.....they just verbalize it openly.
Race will still be a factor, I hope the extent will not be devastating. Current trends indicate Obama will still fare quite well.
Did you notice that Hispanics in Oregon voted for Obama almost 2:1 and the hispanic question is almost as good as sealed now. They will back Obama at the GE, notwithstanding the Puerto Rico primary.
MSNBC show - Race for the White House- just reported about an article on Time magazine that quotes a close ally of Bill Clinton as suggesting that Hillary has more than qualified for VP consideration if that possibility arises.
The Clintons seem relentless to thrust Hillary on the ticket. I somehow predicted earlier that this problem will arise as soon as it becomes OFFICIAL that Obama is the nominee. The Clintons will not relent on this next option (VP), the moment Obama crosses the line. The VP choice must be overhwhelmingly better and more acceptable than Hillary, if Obama doesn't consider her. More pressure on Obama.

Barack in Florida In this video you get to see an opportunity exploited by Obama and an opportunity lost. The opportunity lost:- When the lady talked about her breast cancer and her loosing the house and asked Barack to clean the health care mess, he should have pulled a clinton, and "felt her pain". But he was to wonkish in his approach, and immeadiately jumped into policy. This is what makes Bill Clinton the master, (kind of like R here at home)

HC is actually inciting people to kill Obama, in my opinion HILLARY RAISES ASSASSINATION ISSUEDEFENDS LONG-RUNNING CAMPAIGN By GEOFF EARLE May 23, 2008 -- Hillary Clinton today brought up the assassination of Sen. Robert Kennedy while defending her decision to stay in the race against Barack Obama. "My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don't understand it," she said, dismissing calls to drop out.Obama's camp immediately fired back. "Sen. Clinton's statement before the Argus Leader editorial board was unfortunate and has no place in this campaign," Obama campaign spokesman said in a statement.Clinton made her comments at a meeting with the Sioux Falls Argus-Leader's editorial board while campaigning in South Dakota, where she complained that, "People have been trying to push me out of this ever since Iowa." Obama, the first African-American to advance so far in the race for the White House, has faced threats, sources have said. Robert Kennedy, the younger brother of President John F. Kennedy, was gunned down in 1968 after winning the California primary. He had been a hero on the left for his civil rights agenda and calls to end the war in Vietnam. Barack Obama, who leads Clinton by nearly 200 delegates and has already secured a majority of pledged delegates, has been the subject of threats. Early in the campaign, the Secret Service gave him a security detail at the request of Sen. Richard Durbin (D-Illinois).Clinton criticized an "urgency" to end the campaign prematurely, saying, "Historically, that makes no sense." She later issued an apology for the remark."I regret that if my referencing that moment of trauma for our entire nation and in particular the Kennedy family was in any way offensive. I certainly had no intention of that whatsoever," the former first lady said.
Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson defended the comments to The Post, "She was talking about the length of the race and using the '68 election as an example of how long the races in the past have gone -- she used her husband's race in the same vein." www.nypost.com/seven/05232008/news/nationalnews/why_hill_wont_drop_out__bobby_kennedy_wa_112232.htm

All the major newspapers have led with the assasination story. This one is very spot on www.nydailynews.com/opinions/2008/05/24/2008-05-24_hillary_clintons_colossal_blunder_simply-2.htmlSICK. Disgusting. And yet revealing. Hillary Clinton is staying in the race in the event some nut kills Barack Obama. It qualifys as the dumbest thing ever said in American politics. We have seen an X-ray of a very dark soul. She has grown increasingly wild in her imagery lately, invoking everything from slavery to the political killings in Zimbabwe in making her argument for the Florida and Michigan delegations. She claimed to be the victim of sexism, despite winning the votes of white men. So she kept digging deeper, looking for the magic button. Instead, she pushed the eject button, lifting herself right out of consideration. She needs a very long vacation. And we need one from her. Say good night, Hillary. And go away.

PM, The paper is dead center as far as the issue is concerned. You see, people in the west like calling others murderers and dictators. This clinton character could be the worst kind of dictator/murderer if she were to be president of a third world country. She has the Mobutu/Bokasa tendencies.

MSNBC's Keith Olberman is simply the best! Thanks for the clip.
Hillary's VP chances have virtually melted with that stupid statement. The former first lady is endangering not just Obama's chances but also tearing apart the democratic party. What a pain!
