Bottom line, the bright clever barrister never thought through all this stuff. How does he survive in Canada when he sued everybody left and right including the Queen. Of course there is the "personal right" and the intelligence to apply your whatever rights you have.
Talking of a naked mad man shouting in the village market, I would not pay attention to him.

OO I am honestly surprised that you would find time to respond to this mob lynching of Miguna your buddy. It is not worth your while and for some that want to have their own imagination on a fleeing Miguna, it only help suit their fancy. Someone told me prior to the 2007 elections that the biggest danger of a Raila presidency to Kenyans was not Raila himself.....but the mobs that follow him. He called it a Mob Dictatorship where anyone disagreeing with Raila would meet the wrath of the mobs as opposed to from Raila and his government! The last couple of days have shown what the mobs can do...starting to the flack that Mutunga got at the suggestion of being a guest at the book launch to the time the book first appeared in the media! Of late Kamale has been Migunas sycophant( for lack of another word) number one. Starting with the moment MM parted ways with RAO. Prior to that Kamale had never had any kind words for Miguna and Miguna had no time for Kamale. Infact, he claimed that Miguna had actually revealed a private conversation they had here in jukwaa, for the whole world to see. If I remember right, the said conversation among other thing was about Kamales previous job. Kamale went on to say that he would never ever want to meet Miguna again. He even said on various occasions here in jukwaa how Miguna had a poor legal mind and was not worth hiring. Now that Miguna is making all manner of wild accusations against the PM, Kamale has become his number one supporter. Its the height of cheapness. But I dont balme him, an enemy of your enemy is perhaps your friend.

Last comment on this Nalinali. At least one decent Jukwaa member has been responsible enough to share the Capital FM link that verifies what I said earlier. Please continue the hatefest. I will be back later, on another thread, with something optimistic. Onyango OlooAla! so you will be starting another thread on Miguna..give us (and yourself) a break tafadhali

You know, if Miguna has the king of evidence he claims he has against ODM, then he will not be helping Ruto's case at all.
Anyways, Miguna makes Nguyai seem extremely bright! Nguyai aliropoka...lakini na mpango.

I was at Miguna's house all afternoon yesterday. He was busy doing interviews with the local and international media while at the same time supervising the shipping out of dozens of books in crazy demand at bookstores like Bookstop and Prestige. To all, he made no secret of the fact that he was traveling out of the country to Canada for a month- taking his family on holiday to their second home, Canada. He told me about this trip about a month ago. Some of you may not believe this, but there are folks who actually book their flights in advance before rushing to a busy international airport with their family in tow. Given the pressures he has been through while composing his book, I personally think this vacation was long overdue. That is one of the first things I told Adongo Ogony when I went to welcome him hours upon Adongo's arrival from Canada. He left via the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport which is staffed, by among others police officers, members of Kajwang's immigration ministry, Gichangi's NSIS and other state institutions. Why did they NOT arrest him if he was in fact a fleeing fugitive? I am pinning all these anti-Miguna tirades as announcements to exhibit the depth to which some of us have sunk in our quest to kick Miguna to the kerb. Miguna is not the coward some of you portray him to be. Look for him in Nairobi in about a month and I hope that the cops will be on hand to arrest him for writing a book that some of you disagree with. If some of you had your way, I am sure some of you would bay for his blood as he is taken to Uhuru Park at midday to be hung, drawn, quartered and roasted as nyama choma. Onyango Oloo NairobiOO Frankly speaking, I am beginning to find your postings in defense of Miguna irritating-very irritating. When all is written, your kowtowing to the worst of human flaws and idiocy (in MM) will definitely be a blot on your reform credentials. Gosh, let it go

And this is to all those who think that they are the only ones who fought the liberation wars in Kenya - We have many others who even suffered worse than you. They didn't manage to run to exile, but suffered torture until sick or dead. My father being one of them. Sasa acheni upuzi na ushenzi ya we are the liberation fighters, hence a right to talk down others.
In fact I have also heard that the those Kenyan immigrants who had a rape case against Miguna in Canada will be appealing the ruling. Remember ODM or FORA is also in Canada. Then where next will Miguna run too....run baby run!!!

Githongo was a hero when he ran to London, except to the now PNU diehards. Miguna is a hero when he runs to Canada, except to the ODM diehards. This is very interesting. I highly doubt the 'ODM die-hards' control repressionist state security today as the PNU die-hards did when Githongo ran. But I have not seen overwhelming support for Miguna from 'PNU diehards'. Maybe it will come. In any case, nobody had arrested Miguna, or really wanted to. Tobiko wanted a statement regarding the claims around PEV and Caroli was suing for defamation. I thought Miguna was going to teach us law. horthmy sentiments exactly. man these people are vicious. I know for a fact that Miguna does come to Canada every summer. He has two children who were born here and who live here most of the year with their mother. He was here last summer, the one before that and so on. I thought that I was fighting Mount Kenya Mafia only to find that the ODM peeps like mrembo of Kisumu city, roughrider, Caroli and others are just as vicious. All this because a man wrote a book about your king that you don't like? Phil, just chill, you will be in power in less than a year. In fact I will vote for Raila. Then you'll all show us whose turn it is to eat. You'll be looking at people like us as cockroaches like Bashir of Sudan likes insulting Sudanes blacks. Ida will be recalling ferries and kicking folks off because the queen is at hand. Caroli will eat till he explodes all over us because after all who says Luos can't get rich. You people are so nasty and unprincipled that you're making me sympathize with people I don't even like.

The same pack of wolves as the ones Kenyans have been trying to dislodge from power for 50 years is what we will get come this next election. Dude, it's just a few months away. I'm waiting with bated breath to see how much reform there will be in Kenya or if it will be other people's turn to eat! Even some of you here on Jukwaa are just waiting for "your people" to come to power so that you too can eat! Don't try to make out like Sarah Elederkin did that Miguna is the only opportunist. Very few people are principled and I'm one of them! And I don't give a damn if it's my own father who is a terror. I'll call him out.

IT'S IRONICAL AND FUNNY AND UNBELIEVABLE HOW SOME TALK ABOUT MIGUNA'S TRAVEL TO CANADA IS AS USUAL OR THE NORM.. BUT THEY FORGET MIGUNA MADE SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS ESPECIALLY IN REGARDS TO THE PEV! I HAVEN'T SEEM THEM CALL HIM OUT ON IT.. HOW IRONIC? IS TRAVELING TO CANADA FOR MIGUNA THAT IMPORTANT THAN HELPING KENYANS SOLVE THE CASE BEFORE THE ICC IN REGARDS TO THOSE BEHIND OR INVOLVED IN THE PEV WHERE MANY INNOCENT KENYANS LOST THEIR LIFE'S? VERY TELLING ISN'T IT!

Just the same way I know that I'm black and short is the same way I'm saying I'm principled. Find one person with proof that I'm not. And oh, knowing ones worth is different from arrogance. What I am saying is that sadly indeed I doubt that ODM will usher in a new Kenyan dispensation that will free us of the chains of the brutal regimes of Kenyatta, Moi and Kibaki. I didn't think that Raila was Che Guevara, but I sure thought that he could raise above the toxic sludge that is the 3 presidents we have had so far. The only saving grace for Kenyans is the spaces that they have created with struggle. And yes, I will give credit to Mr. Odinga for his contribution to those struggles. But remember Mugabe was once a revolutionary? I'm waiting though, like I said it's only a few more months. Then come back and prove me wrong.

Kathure; With great restraint and a lot of respect, for the second time, I urge you to leave me alone. We recognize you as moderator. I am an ordinary Kenyan and Jukwaaist expressing my views on affairs which are interesting to me. I bet the same can be said of Kisumu’s Mrembo. On Jukwaa, we post from different places across Kenya and the world. Not as a mob. In fact, YOU informed us of two things about Miguna on these very pages: 1) He is a liar and you challenged Oloo on the same and 2) That Miguna corners women at his law office in Canada with the words ‘come, baby come’. So are you part of the ‘mob’? Do you want me to refresh your memory with the relevant threads? As for Caroli, I only heard that he intends to sue Miguna in court. This seems like a normal thing to do when aggrieved. Have you heard anything else?

Villagers burn Miguna's effigyMiguna’s response to Nyando demo www.standardmedia.co.ke/?articleID=2000062065&pageNo=3But in a quick rebuttal of the demo in Nyando, Miguna responded aptly: DIRECT QUOTE FROM MIGUNA'S MOUTH! MIGUNA HIPS BLAME ON RAILA YET AGAIN.. KWANI THE VILLAGERS IN AHERO HAVE NO VOICE OR SAY FOR THEMSELVES? IS HE INSINUATING THAT THEY ARE STUPID? KENYANS RECALL MIGUNA WENT TO THE SAME VILLAGERS ASKING FOR VOTES AND THEY SHUT HIM DOWN.. DURING RECENT ELECTIONS.. MIGUNA SOUNDS PATHETIC AT EVERY TURN BLAMING RAILA.. ALAH KENYANS ARE MORE INTELLIGENT THEN TO LISTEN TO HIS RUBBISH. PSS: hasten Caroli filed a defamation case against Miguna? why didn't miguna himself file all this claims and allegations in the courts or report to the police or ICC? while this coward fled to Canada?

Jukwaaist, Some of this analysis makes Jukwaa to be go from a five star hotel to a motel.
Miguna Miguna Closed, shelved case in Canada. the folks who are claiming they can reopen, it does not matter if they person(victim) is a resident right now, you need fresh evidence, with not the same charges, so what will charges be molestation. Common now.... Double Jeopardy. Keeping in mind, it is State Vs Miguna, so you expect the state to use tax payers money, for someone like Miguna Miguna who pays Taxes, went to school in Canada, and he is former PM Advisor. Good luck convincing that Prosecutor due political leveling objectives.
Sarah Part 1, 2, 3 Rebuttals on Nation newspaper
It will backfire, worse strategy ever, he is not running for presidency, discrediting him, wont help.
Kamale

Kaburwo:Until you document to me whatever you have done contributing to justice and democracy in Kenya I will request you not to insult Kenyans who did more for the new Kenya than all the idle mouths who have made a blood sport out of castigating former political prisoners and exiles. There are exiles who fought for Kenya. Onyango Oloo Of course "documenting" does not fall in the league of organic bitterness and commercialisation of lies. OO, don't sink into the rang of MM. Stay afloat brother. My travails for democracy did not include exile (physically) but my soul has always been. I don't consider what MM is doing and talking about as a product of genuine concern for democracy and pursuit of justice in Kenya. Certainly I am not as eloquent as you both in painting my tribulations but to monetise hubris is the steepest sink in calumny and political merchandising. Then there is ONE (former) exile who has never accepted that Kenyans have many more worries than to worship former exiled big mouths. Just because one was arrested and tortured by the police doesn't give one a free coupon to hawk hate and stir bitterness. What is so special about MM that you are wearing your fingers numb defending him? You are at liberty to cut me loose if you please. kaburwoSo then how come Raila can tell us about his contribution to struggles for change which led to detention and exile allbeit brief. Unlike other exiles he had a father who although persecuted had power in the society. And how come he is building his whole champagne on his reform credentials and rightly so?

In fact I have also heard that the those Kenyan immigrants who had a rape case against Miguna in Canada will be appealing the ruling. Remember ODM or FORA is also in Canada. Then where next will Miguna run too....run baby run!!! This is more nonsense out of the 24/7 Kenyan rumour-mill. The cases against Miguna were criminal cases and so would have been brough by the Crown. Only the Crown, and not those "immigrants", can decide to appeal the case. And on the basis on which the charges were dismissed, there is not the slightest chance of that happening.
