I am hoping you guys watched the Vee pee debate. it was awesome and i hope Barrack takes some pointers there on how to debate a liar. Joe Biden (Laughing Joe as some have tended to call him post debate) really took Ryan to the cleaners. he had Ryan on the back foot trying to defend themselves but nothing was forthcoming. I liked the moderator (a certain lady. I forget her name) she showed the previous moderator how to handle debates by pulling the leash when needed.
Biden came out swinging and got Ryan on all his lies. he pushed Ryan to the corner and the message that came out from the Repubs was "we have a plan, but vote for us and then we will give you the details" something that wouldnt sit well with moderates.
My funniest tweet was from Bill maher "9 1 1. i am just witnessing an old man beating up a young boy on my TV"
Fact is, Paul Ryan looked way out of his depth, and for a party that spent the last four years claiming Biden was an idiot, it turns out he turned the GOP's "policy wonk" into roadkill. Difference between tonight and Wednesday. Mitt Romney won Wednesday because President Obama treated the debate like a joint press conference and didn't fight back. Joe Biden won the debate tonight by pounding Paul Ryan.
- On foreign policy, Biden proved that the GOP are just quick to point fingers like the Benghazi accident, Iran and Syria yet when asked what they would do differently they (like Ryan did tonight) state they would follow the same steps and policies the Obama administration has been doing. Ryan was close to saying they would go to war when pushed, but he checked himself.
- My best "Zinger" was during the economy debate when Ryan was all on the "stimulus didnt help and was a waste of money mantra" Romney hit back telling americans to check on his VP website where there exists two letters from ryan asking for a stimulus for his state stating that it will help in improving the economy.
There is a lot that went well with the debate that i cant put here but will provide the youtube link for ya'll to indulge. Fact checkers are also busy rebutting most of Ryans lies.
Nereah, The Romney post debate bounce was just a bounce that as of yesterday, had already receded back to pre-debate numbers. You also have to note that those CNN numbers you have been seeing are actually of likely voter as opposed to registered voters.
The LV numbers for Romney were up because of the enthusiasm to vote that the GOP got from the prs debate. If you look at Registered voter numbers, even conservative pollsters like Gallup still had Obama up by four to five points during his 'dark days' last week. So dont worry, They gat this.
One other thing; i have started to distrust CNN and their partisan reporting. i wonder what happened to them over the past ten years. Kina Wolf Blitzer et al started saying that the debate was a draw when other networks were saying Biden took it by a mile. The other networks had online polls showing that Biden won it by as much as 61% to 32% while cnn called it a statistical draw with Ryan at 48% and Biden at 44%. I checked the finer details of the sampling only to find out they had oversampled republicans by over 3% (they had it as a footnote hidden somehwere. hahahaha)
Basically they had it sampled by 8% more for Ryan if you look at the RV's nationwide where dems have 5% more registered voters than repubs.
