Maybe PLO read this thread leading to his Anglo Leasing "new evidence",the man has to be the greatest conman around very few have ever sounded as well as he does while doing nothing. He seems perfect for Moi's regime he would have made the best ever secretary general of KANU.

Kalonzo Musyoka presents a cheque of Sh4,423,000 to the Commissioner General, Kenya Revenue Authority Michael Waweru at the KRA offices June 30, 2011 Now where is Jomo Jnr? On Thursday, Mr Musyoka added that to improve the living conditions of Kenyans, President Kibaki had also paid his taxes.
He said the President was the first person to pay but the issue was not publicised.
“As his deputy, I mean it, he did it sometime last week,” The VP said.www.nation.co.ke/News/politics/Kalonzo+hands+over+Sh4m+tax+cheque/-/1064/1191970/-/13cfkco/-/index.htmlKalonzo is one amazing politician…I think when it’s all said and done he could be the most unique politician the country has ever seen. He has this unique ability to constantly look bad but it just never seems to bother him, it’s almost like his understanding of the world around him is completely devoid of everyone else’s reality. Can anyone truly attest to the man’s ‘nature’ I don’t think so…every other politician from Moi to Kibaki from Raila to Uhuruto you can discern what they are all about in real life outside politics not Kalonzo…he created his own niche & just keeps on riding be it his antics after the 2007 poll, ‘celebrating’ his 25 years in polictics, his shuttle diplomacy or his taxing paying charade…the man is indeed unique… I remember telling a friend of mine a while back that our politics deserved the Hague…and we might get Kalonzo as our next president because he is the perfect definition of old politics in Kenya…shallow, befuddling, watermelon & not sustainable…because we might think we have changed but underneath is still the same old story…

Its like Karma has caught up with Kabogo's Hubris...this story stunk to high heavens the first time I heard it & it keeps on giving...him & his mentor Mwau cant keep killing people for fun everyday...these are the kind of people running the country...I hope more stuff comes out that is indefensible because our police force will not solve this crime...a peoples court will...

www.nation.co.ke/News/US+targeted+Mwau+over+Sh6b+drugs+/-/1056/1190838/-/52jok5z/-/index.htmlIt’s becoming clear that Mwau is a dead man walking…and it’s looking like Mercy Keino maybe the Kenyan mini-Mohamed Bouazizi…just reading through the press & pure common sense Kabogo is being exposed for what he really is…unlike before where everything was based on conjecture & hearsay…With Mutunga’s nomination, the Okemo/Gichuru/Mwau issue, the MP’s paying tax…& now this Keino story just seemingly gaining momentum by the day…well…I think we are seeing a serious change going on….will keep watching…

A great step for Kenya this vetting process was...Tobiko looks like he will get in through the back door but I think it was inevitable,we cannot perfect the system on our first go around. The reality is that if every public senior official went through this process maybe less than 5% would come out unscathed,I mean look at PLO giving his reservations about Tobiko when our very own Odongo here who knows him personally has raised questions about his past not to mention his inept record at KACC....we have to be patient it will take time...
We can only hope that the Tobikos of this world have a POSITIVE 'Wako trait'...in the sense that just like Chameleons they would change to suit their enviroment...its not exactly an easy thing to defy the Kenyattas/Mois of this world or even the first term oblivious Kibaki...It takes more than just looking the other way for a guy like Wako to survive for over 20 years...its obvious he doesnt lack intelligence nor qualifications and MIGHT have actually been a competent AG given an independent functional system and a President with limited powers...ahem!...

I don’t have a medical degree and it seems the numerous pathologists and medical experts are my equal in their own field…there is nothing conclusive about this Wanjiru story whether you believe it was a murder, accidental death or in between…and I don’t believe we will ever hear what really happened…its not beyond comprehension that his own Mother would have been behind the whole thing…
IMO this guy was headed nowhere fast…I remember seeing him in that court room months back…his look and demeanor was that of a seasoned miscreant…I really was not surprised when I heard the news of his death…I still think it was an accident but as it has already been established anything really was possible when it came to him…

What I’m really intrigued by this is ‘WHY’…don’t get me wrong they are all obviously criminals…from Gichuru to most of the current government .Are these recent arrests as a result of Raila’s constant travels to US/Europe? Or is Obama doing his duty as a Kenyan? ‘Lets round all this scum up folks!!’…There are a bunch of criminals involved in the world drug trade much much bigger than Mwau…can you really tell me that Mwau is amongst the 5 most visible Kingpins?? Please he would barely register at 450…. Anyway my take on all this is Raila maybe the PM but he is already Kenyas Defacto president…very soon there will be no one left to Challenge him either politically or financially… ...nice one. Only pity is that he never will be Kenya's president! The sad part is you will see it & no tsunamis or earthquakes will engulf uhuru park...I used to think so too...things have changed...its almost inevitable at this point...

US/Nato want to make an example of Gaddafi just like they did Gbagbo…the question is are these ‘rebels’ they are aiding that effective or as large? I doubt it, but if they want to save themselves the cost & the embarrassment of this campaign being drawn out for an extended period of time they should just take him out now with a bunker blaster or hitherto unknown sophisticated hologram bomb…
It’s quite obvious the reasons why they are after him…and it says a lot about the world today and America’s decline…30 years ago some CIA/Mossad operative would have laced Gaddafi’s drink with cyanide or successfully funded a counter revolution to overthrow him…Ultimately I still think they will have to get a ground force to uproot Gaddafi, I get the impression these ‘rebels’ are not very committed…

The first thing that came to mind when the DSK story hit the news was the great documentary “Inside Job”…he easily was the most high profile person Interwieved who was supposed to be ‘with the system’ i.e. Wall Street but was not…actually at one point the interviewer is astonished with his candor regarding the true feelings of the Bank presidents/CEO’s who almost collapsed the worlds markets in 2008…
That was the first time I had heard of him…then this crazy story…don’t want to sound like one of those 911 conspiracy theorists…but you never know…the story is too crazy…making it a fabrication or VERY real…

Have Kenyans forgotten that Joshua Kulei at some point wanted to repay the money he was allegedly acquired fraudulently? How comes he has been cleared as innocent. Exactly...amazing really...Ruto had to dance & dance he did...what a corrupt judicial system we have...its really amazing that our prisons are full...

I’m no fan of Gbagbo but his Arrest is only a short-term solution afterall he had 46% of the vote…Ivory Coast’s problems in the long term will persist…as long as the French keep seeing it as their colony… What sort of warped reasoning is this? What would you say about the largely peaceful run-off election of President John Atta Mills of Ghana who defeated Nana Akuffo Addo by the slimmest of margins - - 50.23% against 49.77%? Did you hear anything like "afterall Ado gor 49.77% of the vote and therefore yada yada...." The point is, if one loses elections in a free and fair platform, then one must concede defeat. Not sham elections or manipulation of results like those in Kenya and Zimbabwe. Gbagbo had it coming. You are missing the point…Ghana is not the Ivory coast & neither is it Kenya nor Zimbabwe…I’m not sure that election was free & fair as has been opined by many in the blogosphere…for example… www.thenewage.co.za/blogdetail.aspx?mid=186&blog_id=%20198My point is that Gbagbo being captured is no ‘new beginning’ as this thread suggests…same script written by the French with just a different actor is what we are seeing playing out…

A new beginning? Not sure about that…the French just picked their favorite & Installed him…their was no easy solution to the Ivory coast problem…the ‘best case’ scenario was Quattara militarily ousting Gbagbo without French help…
Quattara himself is not this squeaky clean man we keep hearing…’internationally recognized leader’ please…if Ivory Coast had oil & the Gbagbo the villain made easy access of said oil to Americans Quattara would be the one in custody …

The country needs The Hague process…whether the six suspects are found innocent or guilty the country will be better off…it’s in a standstill as it is…
Our politics led us here…and if not for The Hague at our current pace we were headed nowhere fast so we should be grateful…
The wounds of 2007 are still fresh, I haven’t been back home for a significant period of time after being away for so long…the country has progressed significantly but its political baggage is too heavy…you just have to listen and watch the Tribalism, Impunity & public apathy is palatable…
Uhuru seems unrecognizable & bordering manic, Ruto seems to be getting ready for a weeding, Kibaki seems unconcerned, Raila/ODM seem dazed and the public are not sure of anything the last few months…
Once this ICC process is over I can only hope we will finally exorcise our demons…
